    USI JB Insulation
I couldn't be happier with the job JB insulation did (OK, well anything can be improved, but these guys did a great job).  They installed closed cell spray foam in the attic roof of the main house, gable end, garage walls and garage ceiling of my new construction 3 bedroom ranch with attached garage  The bid called for a specific R value (depth in inches) of foam and they sprayed more than the required amount in most areas.  So I feel I got more than I paid for, which of course I'm very happy with.  I had gotten 3 bids and they were the middle one.  Very professional and polite when they were on site.  The covered all areas with plastic to prevent over spray of foam onto things it wasn't supposed to get on and they cleaned up after themselves pretty well (though I did have to do some clean up afterwards, but not much).   The only thing I could complain about is the off gassing chemical smell of the foam continued for several weeks before it slowly went away.  Still smell it a very little bit, but I'm confident it will diminish as time goes by (it has been so far, almost gone now).  There were a few tight areas that they were not sure they would be able to reach, but they did a good job of getting in there (behind some duct work that was in the way).  I went back with a foam gun and touched up a few small spots that they missed (they have to wear a full face mask and it not always easy for them to see, can't blame them).  There were not many, they got everything pretty well with plenty of foam.

After I bought the deal for 300 feet of blown-in insulation, I'd didn't hear from the vendor. I wrote a bad review and got a sincerely apologetic call from Jim Ballman of Revival. I was impressed by his sincerity, so agreed to have a survey of the house and attic done, to prepare a quote. The rep was punctual and courteous. he found that I had 1142 feet in excess of the deal's 300. He suggested that the existing insulation was adequate, and I didn't NEED to spend the money. I think the green, steel roof gives off a lot of heat, so I agreed to take the Deal. The two-man installation crew arrived on the dot, and were very considerate. they covered everything in the closet where the attic access is. It was much more involved than a blow-and-go. They installed dams to avoid blocking aeration vents, and installed rulers to know when they hit the fill level. They were cautious of my things, and put padding where the corrugated hose might rub the door trim or window sill. Overall, I was quite impressed, top to bottom.

Was having new siding installed and found the builder had shorted my insulation in the attic which was about 3and quot; deep in areas not even coming close to meeting code. Being that the gables were open I was looking for a contractor who could respond ASAP to access difficult areas due to vaulted ceilings. Noe responded to my need having an estimator at the house that afternoon followed by an estimate the evening, and a crew out the next business day at 11 AM. Installers were professional and efficient adding insulation in one area to R100. Couldn't ask for more and the price was fair. Wouldn't hesitate to bring them in again or make a referral.

Last of the quality oriented and skilled contractors. If you care about quality, he's the best. He takes notes, reads instructions and takes his time to get it right the first time. He is always out on the job site monitoring and working with his subs/employees to make sure the job gets done well. Out of 100's of contractors I've worked with, he is one of the few that qualifies as a Fine home builder. His quality is better than I've seen on many multi-million dollar homes. On top of it all he is very personable and friendly and patient. Only thing I can ding him on is you have to hound him to get a bid and get going on a project as he is so busy all the time. That and he isn't as fast as some others but the quality takes a little more time and there a very few mistakes made. He has my highest recommendation.

I honestly don't think there is anything he can't do. He's a perfectionist in every job he's done for me. Actually, there have been a couple of times I've had to tell him not to be such a perfectionist.
