    Airco is the best! I have used them twice and they are took care of the service and repair much faster and at a moor reasonable cost than anyone else I contacted. When the blower motor on the furnace went out, Airco replaced it, and the total cost motor, service call, everything was about what others wanted to charge just for the motor. Airco is not just my first call for heating and AC, I expect it to be my only call.

    I know things are busy for A/C repair companies this time of year.  I was pleased the company had a repair person here to repair my A/C so quickly.  The appointment was scheduled for between 2-4PM.  The repairman, Don, called me at 1 to say he got done with a previous job earlier than expected and could make it to my house at 1 if that would work for me, which it did.  Don was extremely personable and professional from the moment he entered the front door.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and set about making the repair efficiently and with obvious expertise.  When completed, he thoroughly expained everything he found, what he had done to fix the problem, and made sure any questions I had were answered.  I asked him about a few other HVAC maintenance issues I need to have done soon, and he was able to explain what would be involved and give me very accurate costs for each.  I will not hesitate to call Spokane Comfort Systems in the future, and plan to have them do my fall HVAC maintenance too. 


    Thank you Spokane Comfort Systems for honest and reliable work.  Please let Don know how much I appreciate the job he did today.

    The purchase of my new home was contingent on a home inspection. The inspector recommended servicing of the furnace since there was no servicing record. My real estate agent via a company he works for, Home Investment Group, hired Scott & Sons Heating and Air Conditioning to perform the service.
    The printout stated all that was done, except he did not turn his head 45 degrees to look at the fresh air timer which was just a few feet from the furnace. If he had done so, he would have noticed that the time was off, and the timer clock was not moving. All he had to do was turn the dial and he would have felt that the gears were stripped. The timer was 18 years old.
    To make a long story short, it cost me $145 to replace the timer, and no, I would not use this provider again.

    Fantastic Co and Exceptopnal workers! This was a somewhat difficult task and they were willing to work with me in every way. The Co also was willing to meet the lowest bid by other Co's making them the winners of the bid for me. I truly liked this Co over all the others I reviewed and their mannerisms were superior as well as their knowledge base of the products they install. The workers did a magnificent job with the install and everything is working great. There is no way you can go wrong using this Co and you will be very pleased with hte fit and finish of the install or any work they do. Their attention to detail and desire to make things right and look the best possible is top notch! Enjoyable crew and fun to talk with as well. They will always be welcome in my home.

    My experience with Rick of Airco Mechanical was fantastic! He was able to squeeze me into the schedule the same day we called, which was greatly appreciated with the cold snap that had started. What Rick didn't know was that he was actually a second opinion provider, meaning we had already paid someone else to come out and evaluate our furnace -- the other provider said our furnace was on its last legs and needed to be replaced (that made us very skeptical, so we decided to pay for a second opinion). Rick inspected the same furnace and found it to be in good shape, with the exception of a jammed air filter that was impeding airflow.  He took the time to inspect several components, even checking the heat pump and measuring the coolant charge -- something the first provider didn't even check. He even leveled the thermostat, just to make sure everything was operating as accurately as possible. I am extremely happy to have found a trustworthy, knowledgeable service technician in Rick and will use him for all future service calls. He even had a $20 coupon here on Angie's List, which made for a great value (on top of saving me from spending thousands on a new system!). Highly recommended!

    ABC Furnace and Duct Cleaning used truck mounted equipment that was well sealed. They closed off all the registers and cold air returns with paper covers as they blew out one register/cold air return at a time to prevent dust from settling back into the house. This company was able to successfully blow out over nearly 25 years of accumulated dust, and there was a lot. The service was professional, thorough and very reasonably priced compared to similar services done by other companies. We absolutely would use ABC Furnace and Duct Cleaning again in the future.

    .Our central air conditioner went out on a Friday evening after hours. (It was going to be in the upper 90's all weekend.) I called their after hours emergency number and spoke with the answering service woman. I asked if I could get someone to come look at our central air conditioner that had stopped working. Her response was and quot;Tonight?and quot;. I responded and quot;If not tonight then Saturday.and quot; This was only 6pm on Friday evening. She said that she could have a technician call me. She said they may call tonight or Saturday or maybe not until Monday. This woman was so rude and short on the phone she acted like my calling was inconveniencing her. I then asked if she knew what the cost for an emergency call would be and she said and quot;I have no idea? I'm just the answering service.and quot; She then asked for my phone number, so I gave that to her. She asked me to repeat it which I did. She then asked for my addresses and I provided that to her which she then asked me to repeat because she didn't get it. I told her to just have a technician call and I would give them the information and ask my questions on cost etc. since she didn't have any information anyway. Well I waited all night Friday for a call, Saturday at 11am still no call so I called another company who was at my house within an hour! Sunday and Monday came and went with still no call from anyone from Sturm. Tuesday around 11am I called and spoke with the manager at Sturm about my call into their emergency number. He pulled the call log and the woman had put in that I had refused to give my phone number or address but wanted to be added to the schedule. Hmm! Why would I refuse to give information but want to be on their schedule with no way for them to know who to call or where to go? She didn't even include my last name which I spelled out for her because it isn't a common name. Unfortunately for Sturm, they not only lost my business for the emergency call but also the sale of a new central air conditioner because ours was shot. Needless to say the manager was NOT happy with her. We had used Sturm in the past to service our furnace and central air so it wasn't the first time we used them. We never had trouble prior to this emergency call.

    Repair was completed the end of July (26th). When we started using heat in late October/early November we noticed a small moist spot in rug. Son thought maybe friends had spilled something or dog had had an and quot;accidentand quot; and did not think much about it. He noticed the wetness continuing and getting worse. We investigated and found the source of moisture--a small condenser pipe had been disconnected and had been slowly dripping whenever condensation built up. We pulled up the rug and it was evident it had been and quot;drippingand quot; slowly for months. We took pictures and called Blue Flame. The wife of repairman promised to have him come and check out the damage. Repairman did not show on scheduled day (no show/no call). Repeated phone calls went unanswered until finally able to again connect with wife. She stated the repairman had no reason to be in the closet (seriously?--that is where the unit is housed!) and he would be wiling to come out and fix the leak for a fee (Again, seriously?--no thanks, it was an easy fix that we did ourselves). Just poor customer service all round. I would not recommend or use them again.
