    Clark's Tire and Automotive
Clark's Automotive did a great job! They've always treated us with respect and honesty. Best of all, they charged far less than other places would have for the same service. We love Clark's Automotive!

    Clark's Tire and Automotive
Was told the car just needed a tune up. That did not fix the problem and told another part was need. Took longer then they said it would. Way over charged on parts. $16ea for a spark plug time by 6 it really adds up.(normal price is $7ea) .  Week later light come on again with same codes as we looked into it found that the air filter was bad. So they never looked at it and that  was part of the problem.

.I doubt  their ability  to properly troubleshoot and the fact the price gouge on parts. I would not recommend them for anything other then oil changes and tire stuff.

Everything in the beginning was great, the salesman Ali did an absolute amazing job and I would work with again for a different dealership.  They got me in, gave me a fair price for the truck.  But then when it came to signing papers I warned Ali I didn't want to be pressured into buying any of the extended warranty's.  He told me to just tell Jeannie I wasn't interested.
Jeannie sure enough pressured me into buying several extended warranty's and I have to admit she's good at it because I left the dealership with the 100K mile $3000 extended warranty.  I made a couple calls to family members and friends and after telling me what I already knew (I don't need any warranty's, Toyota's are too good of running vehicles), I called the dealership the same day and asked them to cancel the warranty.  Jeannie said I would have to come in to sign the paper.  I drove back to the dealership and signed the paper.  She told me the warranty would take effect and then take 4 to 8 weeks to cancel.  It seemed odd, why wouldn't they just change it before it went into effect?   Against my better judgement and there's nothing I could of done anyways, I just accepted what she was saying and wrote a reminder for myself to check on it in 8 weeks.
Eight weeks later I spend more time calling the credit union to see if there was a $3000 deduction from the loan.  Nothing on
their end.  I go down to the dealership again (deep down I knew 8 weeks prior I'd be spending more time on this) - Jeannie is not there so I speak to another guy named Brad.  Brad sits me down for an hour or so checking several things on the computer and making several phone calls.  It turns out the paperwork (cancellation) didn't make it wherever it was supposed to go (Imagine that) - But he ensured me it was an honest mistake and this time he would make sure it went through.  But it would take another 4 to 8 weeks.  :)  REALLY!!
Ten or Eleven weeks later, you guessed it still nothing.  I spend more time on the phone with credit union, then more time down at the dealership. Jeannie nor Brad are available so the manager Tim helps me.  Tim says it looks like it was processed but something went wrong.
At this point I don't think I'd ever buy another vehicle from this dealership.  I run my own business and the time I spent chasing something that should of easily been handled, could of been spent more wisely.  I'll never get that time back.  In return all the dealership can tell me is it was an honest mistake.  I don't know exactly how much the finance person makes in commission when a warranty is sold, but I know they make something.  I'm amazed the Dealership would allow their finance person to put their reputation on the line over a couple hundred bucks.  I doubt this is the first time.
I like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt, but after happening twice and over 4 months later = It's easy to see what happened here.

I have used Autocraft for about 15 years and have always been satisfied. They have done all kinds of engine and suspension repairs, tune-ups, etc. on my pickup, minivan and 6 different cars. Friendly and knowledgable service and willing to explain things to me, my wife or our kids.

Spokane Engine Sale / Spokane Auto Care
Engine had misfire causing transmission to shift erratically. Replaced spark plugs and one coil.  Also installed new fuel filter. Other shops quoted $800 to $1200. Had my vehicle fixed and back to me within 24 hours of my call for service.

Efficient and professional service.  This shop has loyalty points program which halved above price for todays service.  Have used this shop for 3-4 years.  They are always willing to discuss reason for repairs, and prioritize repairs; eg what might wait and for how long, and what should be done immediately.  Have had major work done several times, and never been dissatisfied.

    Davis Diesel Of Spokane Wa

Left pickup at appointed time.  shortly after leaving it there I received

one of many phone calls describing multiple problems, each one pushing price of repair up.  They were told to ignore growing list of problems and just diagnose original complaint.  When I arrived at agreed upon time for pickup of vehicle,  it was not ready.  I was given a list of problems that they wanted to fix for me.  I was able to get my rig returned after paying for the inspection and an invoiced repair "EGR valve, remove and replace".  The check engine lite was out at the time I took the vehicle.  The day following the check engine lite came back on and review with the OBD II scan tool confirmed the same problem I took it in for.  I then subsequently purchased a replacement EGR from the parts store for my truck and changed it myself.  It is now 2 weeks later and the check engine lite now remains off.  Doing my own valve change allowed me to discover that the original valve had not been removed and replaced. The list of additional defects from this shop:

1-Powersteering system needs fluid exchange-  was completed @ 102000miles as part of routine maintenance

2-Turbo intake bracket missing- examination reveals bracket in place

3-water possible leaking- no evidence of leak

4-body ground strap not connected- unable to find strap in question

5- Batteries are 450 CCA and need to be 800 CCA-  Batteries load checked at battery supplier and found to be in spec.

6- axle seal leaking right side- examination reveals no leak

7- left CV axle torn- presuming they meant CV joint boot torn- examination reveals not torn

8-valve covers leaking- no apparent leaks on examination

9- running lights inop- turned on from cab- all working fine

10-wipers are poor-  new blades had been installed 1 week prior to visit to this shop as part of routine maintenance

In short I was charged for services not provided and for parts not provided.  This was a very unsatisfactory service experience.

They are always so wonderful when I go in. They are very thorough with their inspections and give me all the details of what needs to be done, with little pressure to do anything, unless it is necessary for safety. They are always cheerful and remember me from previous visits. They are a little on the high side expense wise, but I am a firm believer in having make specific care for our cars, and they do such great work!

    Appleway Chevrolet Inc
I helped my mother buy a car at this dealership. I have never bought a car from Chevrolet before, but I was very impressed with the salesman that was helping us to purchase her car. My mom is on a very tight budget and the team at Chevy really worked hard to get her into her car on a budget that would work for her. They were very kind and most of them were little to no pressure in their dealings. Will definitely consider them when it comes time to buy a new car of our own someday.

    JEFF'S CUSTOM AUTO DETAIL
The work that Jeff did was very good. I asked him to hit a couple things that I felt otherwise might be overlooked. Which he did. However, I was disappointed on a handful of things. My visors with mirrors were not touched at all. Also, some of the moldings were not cleaned, in particular the area all around the trunk that is exposed when the trunk is open, and also the moldings where the convertible top meets the windshield. I thought these things certainly would have been addressed with a full detail, and as such I didn't tell Jeff explicitly that I wanted them done. But you know what happens when we assume. But as I said, the work that was done was of high quality.
