  • Our experience with REVE Exteriors was adequate and this review will be broken down into four sections; sales, installation, product, and communication Sales: Our sales representative (Herbert) was very courteous and professional throughout the process. He talked us through the products and discussed openly with us how the project would be completed. He answered all of our questions and helped us feel comfortable in making our decision to use a GAF roofing system. We were very pleased with his performance. Installation. Our roof was installed by a fantastic group (a sub-contractor crew of Juan, Benny, and Jose). They demonstrated professionalism and skill throughout the project. They worked extremely hard and were great about answering all of our questions during the installation process. They cleaned up the work area each day and once the project was complete they went through with a fine tooth comb and ensured all areas were clear of debris (to include using a magnet to secure nails and staples). We would highly recommend this crew to anyone. Product. We are happy with the GAF roofing system so far. What was sold to us is what was installed on the roof and it appears that this roof will be set up to last for the 50 years were have been guaranteed that it will. The shingles have an attractive finish and the roof has greatly increased the curb appeal of our home. So far, we are happy with the overall product. Communication: We were not happy with the communication from REVE Exteriors LLC throughout the duration of this project. With the completion of the sale we had a projected installation start date and once the sale was complete, not once did we hear from REVE if the installation dates had been confirmed. As the original projected installation date approached we had not heard a word from REVE so we contacted them to see what the status was. We had to facilitate all communication with REVE and until the night before the roofing materials were to be delivered we received ambiguous responses from headquarters and the Kent location. We fully understand that the original installation date was a projection and that roofing scheduling is dynamic based on weather constraints and/or prior jobs taking longer than expected. We would have appreciated a contractor initiated phone call or email to let us know that our job was on schedule or not. Our job was completed during the original installation projections but if we had not initiated all communications, we would have had no idea when to expect installation. We were disappointed that we were never informed of any developments in the process. The lack of communication generates the appearance to the consumer that their project is of very little or no priority to the contractor. Overall, we were happy with the project thanks in part to our sales representative and our installation crew. We would recommend this company based on the end result but we would recommend that this company improve their communication practices with clients.

  • Excellent. Dave Brisco and his crew were easy to work with. They were able to start the work soon after I signed the contract. I went to their office and selected the roofing material and color. My old roof was removed and all scrap was cleaned up and removed. The new roof was installed and, again, all debris was removed. I also had three skylights replaced. I highly recommend Brisco Roofing.

  • Work completed July 2018. About $18K with taxes, including extended warranty from GAF. I did not haggle over price, as it was at the lower end of several other quotes I obtained. Proposal for work was completed quickly, with typed quote emailed to me. I had several minor adjustments/clarifications I wanted to add to the contract, and there was no pushback at all. Absolutely no sales pressure. 3-man roofing crew was excellent. They arrived each day at 8-8:30 and worked hard all day. Very polite and tidy (jobsite was cleaned thoroughly at the end of each workday; even the gutters were clean at the end of the job). Everyone at Raindrop was friendly and helpful, including workers and drivers. Raindrop sent a very handy FAQ, which helped me prepare for the work. Only 2 areas of complaints. First, there were some scheduling delays. Work was supposed to start the week of June 25. I hadn't been called to confirm a more precise start date, so I called Raindrop on June 20, and a start date of June 28 was set, with work to be completed on June 30. After 3 delays, project commenced on July 5 and was completed on July 11th, so job actually took 5 days (not 3, as earlier estimated). Since I am retired, the delay really didn't impact me too much, but I had travel to Seattle planned for July 12, so the job was completed just in time. Second, I was under the impression that periodic oversight of the work would occur during the job by a supervisor, but it didn't happen until July 17th, and then only after I called Raindrop. Overall, I would grade my experience with Raindrop as a B+. Although I am not a roofing expert, it seems like the quality of the work was very high, with no obvious shortcuts. The 3-man work crew seemed very diligent and careful in their workmanship. Overall, I would hire them again. However, if you have very precise needs for firm work dates, I would advise adding this requirement to the contract. A bit more proactive outreach from Raindrop about work delays would have been appreciated. I paid the entire bill at the end of the job, and I appreciated no early demands for a deposit, even though the contract specified 30%.

  • We chose H&D several years back to replace some of the original windows with failed seals, and had no hesitation going back to them after we decided to replace the rest of the original windows. As before, the whole process was handled in a very professional manner, the work was done well and on time, and they handled the energy incentive paperwork for us. The new replacement windows are perfect, and match well to the replacements we had done earlier.

  • It went great!. The first person I met was Jose, who came out to provide the estimate. I got 4 estimates before choosing, and Jose was by far the most thorough in explaining the process. Some of the reasons I chose Giron included: Jose's explanation of the product,; the estimate included enough plywood to make me feel like it would be covered by the estimate (and not incur more charges along the way); and the company had great reviews everywhere. The crew came out and worked in difficult weather and did an amazing job. There was a small area that wasn't perfectly straight along the front edge of the roof and when I called, they sent someone out to fix it within the week. A roof is a ton of money and I was very nervous when I started calling for estimates. Now that it's complete, I'm very happy I chose Giron and feel confident that if I need them in the future, they will stand by their work. I would definitely choose them again!

  • Outstanding. I discovered the leak late in the afternoon, and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Filipe showed up in the morning, and said he would do the necessary work right away, as rain was expected again the next day. He replaced missing shingles, and caulked/shingled around two skylights. In addition, he re-set roofing nails and siliconed them in place.

  • This work was difficult to grade. Larry and Tim were very friendly, knew what they were doing, went to work and got the job done in a timely manner. Unfortunately, even though I specifically ask that they do it, they did not put the insulation back in around the installation, leaving about 2 square feet of bare ceiling. If I had not checked and replaced the insulation myself their error could have resulted in considerable heat loss over time. I would recommend them but only if you check all of their work before they leave.

  • I obtained 4 bids for service to replace my roof.  Interstate Roofing came out to my house (Tom S) and was very helpful to me when deciding which type of roof to choose as well as educate me on "overbuilding features" based on what I thought I needed in our climate.  Together, we designed a new roofing system (replaced shingles and 1/2 of the plywood due to mold damage) which included synthetic underlayment (instead of felt), ice and water shield in the valleys as well as metal valley flashing. There was never any pressure to "upgrade"; any upgrades were items I wanted before I even met with the company.  Their bid form was the most comprehensive of all of the companies I spoke with not to mention the knowledge that their representative had in roofing projects.

    Interstate Roofing's customer service is second to none.  They answered all the questions and did their best to accommodate me and my schedule.  I am working to get all of my neighbors to use them in the future for their roof replacements because I was so happy with Interstate Roofing's service.

  • There were no difficulties or problem areas that  I was aware of during the process.  A large crew showed up on the morning of the work and all work was completed by the end of the day.  Including all clean up.  I am writing this critique 3 months after the work and have no complaints or problems.  The roof looks great.

  • Well, let me begin by saying that I dislike submitting anything other than a glowing review on this site. However, based on our experience with this company, I feel the need to honestly review what happened. Our builder contracted with Bliss Roofing to install the shingles on our new patio cover. Therefore, we did not go through the process of getting bids, reading reviews, etc. We trusted our builder as he had used them for the past several years with satisfaction. The workers came out and installed the shingles and 4 skylights. I don't know anything about roofing so assumed all was fine. They were courteous and cleaned up the job site well.
    I also asked them if they could look at the leaking skylight in the kitchen area. A worker tried to fix the leak by turning the skylight top to the bottom. This caused it too leak even heavier. He came out again on the weekend, turned the skylight back to the way it originally sat and caulked it heavily. He advised us to get a new skylight. He went in our attic to try to determine if anything else was going on that might cause the skylight leak and noticed that our insulation was wet under the valley area. This was a whole different problem, unrelated to the skylight. We asked Bliss to come out at their next available appointment to repair. They installed a metal valley.
    About two weeks later our finish carpenter noticed some water under the soffits so I contacted Bliss to come out to give us an estimate to repair this damage. I also contacted one other roofer for an estimate. Both roofers advised that it didn't need to be repaired until I noticed water leaking again. The second roofer went up on the roof and told me that the new shingles weren't installed as good as they could have been - there were bumps where the patio cover tied into the existing shingles. I know nothing about roofing so I appreciated his comments. I thought, however, that he might just be knocking a competitor's work, in the hopes of securing our business.
    After three leaks we decided to quit putting money into repairs and just re-roof. We got an estimate from Bliss and four other companies. Three of the companies were also not pleased with the way that the shingles tied into the existing roof. They said that it's not really visible from the ground - you need to get up on the roof to look at how they were installed. Instead of being straight across they were like a loose and quot;Sand quot;, kind of with a wave, which I still didn't completely understand. The fourth company didn't get on the roof to bid - they did it aerially.
    By this point in time, we decided to not hire Bliss for our re-roof. We choose a different company, signed the contract and the work will be done within the next week, weather permitting.
    What happened next was quite strange. I came home last Friday to find a Bliss roofing truck in our driveway and shingles were flying from the roof in our back yard. I asked the worker what was going on. He said he was fixing the problem to make us satisfied and happy. I called my husband quickly and asked him if he had contacted Bliss to have them do work (which I knew he hadn't based on our dissatisfaction). I did not authorize them to be on our roof for any reason. This last straw could have all been avoided with a simple phone call. If they had called and said they were coming to rectify the problem, I would have then advised them to not bother as we were re-roofing in a week or two.
    I do give the company credit for trying to rectify the problem, but communication is the key, and a very important one at that.
