    Handyman Matters
I contracted Handyman Matters for several small repairs around my home. I'm please with 95% of the work but for two spots that should have been caulked in the shower. They did great with replacing the floor of the bathroom vanity, patching several holes in the drywall were speakers were installed. It's a small oversight that should not be held against them as the rest of their work was excellent.

    Boyce Home Maintenance, LLC
We're preparing to put our home up for sale and hired Boyce Home Maintenance to patch walls, remove wallpaper, prime/paint, install new door handles, update bathroom hardware, repair baseboard moulding and fix some minor electrical issues. They were very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up everything at the end of each work day. Communication and follow-up from the estimate through completion of all projects was excellent.

    Magpie Construction
I recently learned the hard way that my downspouts had been leaking water into the foundation of my house and soaking my basement. This was causing the walls to warp and mold to grow on the carpet. I unfortunately was going to have to completely gut the basement. I called Jesse at Magpie Construction and he couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. He not only figured out how to waterproof my basement, but also got in touch with some people who could extend my downspouts so I wouldn't have the problem again. He completely tore out the problem walls and carpet and - after waterproofing - replaced them with new walls and luxury vinyl that I decided to use in place of the carpet. His crew repainted the room, added trim, and did a great job of cleaning up the entire job site. It's like they had never been there. I can't thank Jesse enough for answering all of my questions, keeping me in the loop throughout the whole process, and for giving me my favorite living space back! My basement is beautiful and I love spending time down there now!!

    Randy Hall Home Repair Tech
He raised the shower heads (one of the pipes is crooked and not secured) and tried twice to install the shower pan. The first time he just set it on the floor, on the dry wood. The second time he used dry lumpy mortar (I told him the manufacture recommended wet mortar or cement) he said the wet cement would shrink and proceeded. The clamps were put in back side out and he left sandy residue throughout the house. I paid him $900.00 ($100.00 over the quote) after he left I saw that the pan was not secure, I asked him for a partial refund . He agreed to refund me $300.00 But then changed his mind and told me he doesn't work for nothing. NOW i have to find someone to remove the pan , clean up the sandy mess and install it right. He accepted a job he did not know how to do. DO NOT hire this Man, he is not honest.

He did an excellent job. The fire alarm was located at the apex of a lofted ceiling above a dresser. He responded promptly to my phone call. He purchased replacement batteries on his way at my request and arrived in a timely manner. He completed the job quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I will contact him first for any future handyman work.

    AFJ Handyman Service Inc.
Jonah was very polite, professional and did a thorough job. A previous handyman had recommended $1,200 in window repairs. Jonah did a very nice job caulking around all windows, doors and other gaps we didnt know about. The total cost was $150 and he completed the work in an hour. We plan to use AFJ Handyman Service for gutter and window cleaning, and some other jobs we have planned this winter.

Eric did a wonderful job and worked very hard at the tasks. He had to pick up the downspout materials and bring them to the job. It is now fixed and looks good. The hanging picture was a challenge since it was high up and hung as a diamond shape on a picture rod. Eric was very professional and I plan on using him for some siding issues I have.

Dave & his helpers (kids) were efficient and did a very good job. Dave evaluated which boards in our deck had to be replaced, got that done, then stained the deck and painted the railings (after sanding everything down). He's a pleasure to work with.
