    COUNTRY KENNELS
Country kennels has been absolutely wonderful. They have watched my dogs countless times and they wag their tails every time they go. I feel at ease leaving them for a week here and there because they post pictures on facebook of them playing during play time. They go above and beyond and have the most incredible staff. This kennel is a 5 star resort for animals.

    COUNTRY KENNELS
Great! We trust this location to watch after our animals because we know that they are taken care of. They get to play with other dogs once a day and before you pick them up its optional to have them bathed so they are all clean before you take them home.

    COUNTRY KENNELS
Myself and my girls did an advance tour, we were amazed at the amount of activities and attention our dogs will get when we go on vacation. We have used numerous kennels around the U.S and this one really was the best we've seen. Clean very affordable, safe and friendly attentive staff, recommend visiting and utilizing this facility to everyone in the area with a pet. Also take a look at the grooming they offer, affordable with numerous details to pick and choose from. Our family can't wait to leave our pets there, we know they will have a lot of fun.

    Canyon Pet Lodge
I used "doggie day care" and also an overnight boarding time to see how it would go before boarding my dog at Canyon Pet Lodge during a 16 day trip. I am now back from my trip to say doggie day care, my overnight boarding, and the 16 day boarding went tremendously well. My dog likes being there and playing with other dogs. The staff obviously cares about the dogs. The facility is excellent with separate nice spaces for each dog, walking and play areas, etc. The facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly and efficient. My dog received excellent care.

    COUNTRY KENNELS
We have been taking our dog here for more than 5 years and we would recommend them to anyone who needs someone to care for their pet while they are on vacation. Every time we pick him up he is clean and well fed. We have taken him to other kennels in the past and he has come home with cuts and fleas, but that never happens here. The employees are very caring and I never have to worry when I leave my dog with them.

    CAT DOCTOR VETERINARY CENTER
The professional team at The Cat Doctor took care of our young kitty for 9 days. It was her first time being boarded, and we were nervous. Turns out she was just fine and seemed happy when we picked her up.

    Fort Fido LLC
My dog has been going to Fort Fido for a few years now and every experience has been great! They are always available (open 365 days of the year!) I was very pleased when I first learned that the dogs boarding overnight are supervised 24 hours a day and not kept in crates all night. They are always available, even for last minute boarding. Which came in handy when we had a family emergency pop up this past year. The owners and the staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog here and would highly recommend Fort Fido to anyone looking for a safe and social environment for their dog. Thank you for having a great spot for my dog and others!

    Positive Approach Dog Training

At Positive Approach the idea is only praise your dog when he is doing what you want him to do and not to correct bad behavior.  When you have a dog that will be 100 lbs. full grown, this just doesn't work. We used this approach religiously and one day our dog was asked not to come back to Doggie Daycare, because when he barked at one of the women who worked in the office, he scared her.

We took the puppy class, and then it was suggested we take several extra classes for dogs with behavior issues, all the time they just happily kept taking our money.  Since then we've done a lot of research and realized that this approach might work well for a few types of dogs but not one who is bred to protect, to work, and be a part of a family.  Even a puppy's mother will reprimand it when it is doing wrong.  Positive Approach's concept is flawed.  With a child, yes, praise is important, but what would happen if you never teach him right from wrong, never tell him when he's doing something wrong or harmful to himself?  You'd end up with a nightmare of a child and an ill functioning adult.

We started working with our dog, teaching him in a kind way right from wrong, but unfortunately he became very ill from a genetic illness and he passed in Aug 2014.  I will never bring another dog to Positive Approach.

    COUNTRY KENNELS
We love Country Kennels and use them all the time. Everyone who works there is both personable and professional. Our dog loves Country Kennels as well. She jumps out our car and races to their door.

    TACOMA CAT HOSPITAL
They are specific to cats so there are no dogs. That tends to make the cats less nervous when they are there. They seem to care a lot about the animals themselves, more than trying to be trendy. The price is reasonable.
