  • Beautiful . They achieved the whitewash oak stain we wanted perfectly. Jim is very professional as are his workers. Not to mention very nice people. They worked around our schedule and tolerated our dogs! We wish we could hire them again but our floor is done! Professional, conscientious!

  • Great!!! Vasiliy Bagniy came out and gave us a very good bid for the job. His crew David and a couple of other guys came out within a week to do the tear out and new flooring. They transitioned the floors in every room no T-molding between rooms. They were on time every day, very nice and professional. Excellent job. We were amazed everyday before they left the job everything was cleaned up. Everyone that comes over can't believe how beautiful our floors look. We are very pleased and would recommend NW Premium Hardwood Flooring.

  • I will try to point out strictly the facts about my experience and not exaggerate. Long story short, please do not consider using Hardwood Perfections. Here is how I needed their services and what I experienced. We had water damage in our kitchen. The whole main floor was hardwood, except the bedrooms. There was a ~150 square foot section of kitchen floor that would have to be replaced. I was also about to install hardwood in the bedrooms and decided to have them perform that install and finishing since they were already doing some work at the house. To be upfront, I mistakenly bought unmatched wood for my bedrooms, but was okay with that since they're separate rooms. Looks okay going from hallway to a bedroom. In case there's a rebuttal, I want this clearly stated up front. Here are the problems: Kitchen: They used the wrong wood. Wood did not even closely match what was near it. And the installers never even bothered to ask or check... they just installed it and left it to me to figure it out. We eventually negotiated a discount, but before even landing on what that discount would be, the owner, Vlad, was threatening to put a lien on my house. Again, we had not yet even come to final bill and he's threatening that. Also in the kitchen, since the floor cabinets and island were all pulled out, when they installed the new wood, the installers cut the electrical wiring nearly flush with the floor. The challenges in this were discovered when an electrician went to reinstall the island outfit and did not have enough wire. This was a significantly more expensive electrical cost. This was discovered well after we had settled on our bill. Sadly I did not take into account what else you'll see below, or the electrical issue they caused. Bedroom number one: once complete, they left the closet doors in the garage. But they did screw down the holder into the floor. Turns out those closet doors no longer fit. I have to get new ones. They should have measured and informed us. They did not. And again, they just left this for me to discover on my own. Bedroom number two: they did notre-attach the guide for closet doors, so they just swing in and out. Sure, I can install that, but why skip that? There were a few water bottles and balls of tape left on my front porch. Not a big bag or pile, but several pieces of trash left to blow around. They finished the entire floor. The new floor in the kitchen, the new floor in the bedrooms, and the rest of the existing floor to match. The finish itself is fine, but the installers managed to bump and scuff nearly every single wall. I had to spend several hours painting over the wall marks as I couldn't get the marks to scrub off the newly painted walls. On the positive side, they're not against shifting costs from the personal side of the project (out of pocket) to the insurance-billed side of the project. Though I do believe that that may be considered insurance fraud... If you're okay with that, then they might help you that way. Long story short: -Wrong wood used and they didn't bother to check -Did not inform that closet doors may not fit and left to discover to customer -Did not complete re-install of other closet doors -Trash left out -Careless with banging and marking up walls -Financially threatening

  • Dmitri was very punctual about coming out and giving us an estimate.
The installer did a great job of laying the floor; did not do such a
good job on the finish work and put transitions in the bedroom doorways
where the flooring was carried into the rooms.  Do not feel transition
pieces were needed.  Have seen other flooring done and there were no
transitions put in.  The installer came around nine in the morning and
did not leave until 9:00 pm the first night and around 10 the next two
nights.  He had to finish the job in three days as he was scheduled to
be at another job the next day.  We were not told that the installer
would be here until late in the evening.  We had to clean up the sawdust
from the ripping out of the kitchen floor and installing the new floor.
The installer was going to clean and move the furniture back when he finished at 10 pm the last night; we declined as he would have been here until midnight. There
was damage done to the flooring when the installer put in the molding
pieces around the entry way tile.  Contacted Dmitri and he said he would
come out and repair it -- never came.  They did come and haul away the
overage that was ordered and not used and did credit us the amount.  We
feel that by the time the installer was putting in the finish molding
that he was so tired or he is just not experienced with it that he did
not do a very professional job on that part.  Otherwise he was very
pleasant and hard working.  I just don't like people staying so late and
we feel that Dmitri or whoever scheduled the installer did not give him
enough time to do the work.  I feel that we should have been informed that the installer was going to be so late in the night; especially given that I was unable to use my kitchen the first night.  That would have been nice to know.

  • First, I attempted to send a query on their website, but my email wouldn't recognize the website email as "safe" so I ended up calling.  I was happy with the estimate and scheduled the service.  Vlad brought out his crew and introduced all of them.  Then he left, and his crew did most of the work.  They were very good at keeping mess to a minimum and cleaning up afterward,

There was one miscommunication regarding scheduling.  I called Vlad and he made it right.  That, I think, is the mark of quality service.  Everything was put back and cleaned up.  The floor looks great!

  • We wanted to get a quote on hardwood flooring for our downstairs.  He called us initially as expected and we made an appointment.  My husband came home from work early to make sure he wasn't late for between 5-6pm appt.  At 5:30 he calls and said there was a family emergency and he won't be able to make it.  So we rescheduled for the following week, and  we didn't hear anything from him until after my husband sent him a text msg.  We are pretty sure he forgot.  We told him to forget it, we'll call someone else. I thought dealing with Angies List would weed out the non professional contractors, and so far we are not impressed with either at this point.

  • He did a terrible job. There were some lines, different colors, big white areas, and dark areas. It looked like he put the stuff on and then came back the next day and started again. We had him come back because our builder had him come over and he was going to charge us about twice the price of the artistic guy. He was going to charge us around $8,000 or $9,000 to do the same job. That was just a bid. We didn't have him do it because he is just such a know-it-all and he doesn't know anything. We had a couple of other people come that I think were very honest and they didn't agree with what he said at all. He is very phony. Another thing he did when he came in after he did the floors seven years ago. I called him to come and see some of these lines and spots, and he never came. So, when he was here a few months ago to look at the water damage and told me what he had to do. I showed him these places, he never said he was sorry, he didn't know how that happened or anything. He just kind of looked at it and said: "hmm". He should have came back and fixed that. I said: "Well, I called you and you never responded." and he didn't say anything. He just went on to his next comment about what he was going to do this time.

  • I was reffered to Anthonies from my real estate agent. He was very prompt to come out for an estimate and the price was very competitive. They were able to adjust what they did (and thus the price) to my specific needs and budget. They were able to adapt to my schedule of when I needed it done (as we stayed somewhere else for a couple days & nights). They arrived on time, taped off cabinets and other areas to control dust, did a quality job and cleaned everything up when they were done. They even finished earlier than expected. The only concern I had was that I had a little trouble understanding Anthony (the representitive/owner/foreman) over the phone, so I was worried he did not have a clear understanding of the schedule, but we did and everything worked out great. I would definitely use them again.

  • A few small places needed to be filled in when they finished but they came back and did a good job on the repairs.

  • Quality of work was good. Team very professional.
