  • I called halfway through my appointment window to verify that my appointment was still set and received a robo-confirmation that a technician would be arriving between 10 and 2. At 2 pm when nobody arrived or called, I called them and spoke to a human who apologized and told me they have no technicians in my area today and that I would need to re-schedule. TERRIBLE customer service! I will never use Sears Appliance Repair again. Too bad, there was a time when they were the best.

  • Very well - Tim Goodsell (owner) handled everything from phone call for service to doing the work - on time and punctual - also very cognizant of keeping working environment free from damage and clean to promptly sending parts I ordered. Tim even cleaned the dryer vent as part of the service. Would definitely hire again.

  • I called Sunday evening and left a message, he returned my call Monday morning and was able to squeeze me in that afternoon.  He came during the window he said he would and was in and out pretty quickly.  We had been without a dishwasher for over a week and I was really happy he could get me on his schedule right away.

  • I was surprised to find Pacific Home Appliance hadn't yet been reviewed here!  I am happy to add them to Angie's List!
When my washing machine decided to stop draining, I stopped in to Pacific Home Appliance to see what they had available in refurbished sets (after deciding I did NOT want to replace my good old-fashioned washer with a new, "HE" machine!).  I also wanted to talk to them about possibly repairing my washing machine.  I am very happy to have discovered Pacific Home Appliance!
To keep it short and sweet....local, family run business (I really like keeping things local), very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly in the store, Joe (the owner) showed up promptly within the 2 hour timeframe they gave me when I scheduled the appointment (and he called to let me know he was on his way and confirm the time still worked for me).  He was very professional and was careful when disassembling and moving the machine not to bang walls, scratch floors, etc.  And my washer is now back to fully functional.
I also asked him about a problem I was having with my dishwasher.  He took a quick look, told me what was likely causing the problem, and it is something I can easily take care of myself.
Very reputable, trustworthy business that I will definitely use again if/when needed, and highly recommend to others.

  • They are excellent.  I've used them twice.  The first time they did remodeling.  They moved the laundry room from downstairs to upstairs.  They are responsive and courteous.  They do a good job.  The price for the job was a little steep because it took more than what I thought.

  • Do not come without the necessary parts when you have a good idea what the problem is. Do not take advantage of folks with a 44% markup on parts. Do check all components when the appliance is open for repair. Details: 1. I had thoroughly researched the problem. I provided the make and model number, described the symptoms to the dispatcher in detail and supposed that the problem was likely the motor or the belt. Even so the technician, who also quickly determined that it was the motor, had not come equipped with the part. This meant that I had to rearrange my schedule to again wait for the service to be completed at a later date. They should have rescheduled so that the customer would not have to carve out another chunk in their schedule. 2. I asked the tech as he was leaving if he had checked out the other components while he had it open to determine if everything was working properly. He replied that he had. While the motor runs, it now takes two full cycles to dry one load. I'm not sure why this would be the case if all components are in working order and the motor has been installed properly? 3. I found the exact motor I needed online for $79.65; he marked it up 44% to $115.00 plus tax. A 25% markup would have afforded him a good profit margin on the job.

  • Work needed several visits due to not having the hoses. First appointment was almost missed due to mis-communication between provider and customer.
