    Restore Vision Centers
These people are THE BEST! Everyone is so professional and friendly that I would recommend them to anyone. I ended up with 20/15 vision, better than my expectations.  Everything was straight forward and easy to understand.  They even warned me of the pain afterward, but assured me it would go away in a couple of hours...waited for the couple of hours and voila it was gone! Just as promised. Very good follow up appointments. Not one complaint!

    Spokane Eye Clinic
I scheduled my exam in late November and the earliest available appointment I was offered was mid-January (hence the "C" for availability).  That said, the staff who treated me and the care I received were both great.  They were prompt to check me in as a new patient and my exam began shortly after.  They also offer NextGen Patient Portal as a completely optional service so you can access your records online if you so choose, which I personally really like.  If you don't want your records online, you may simply decline.
Their facilities are immaculate, in my opinion.  They are spacious, clean, and inviting.
I was seen by Dr. Moffatt who was very pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.  She was expedient but thorough and answered my questions.
I cannot comment on pricing since insurance covered my visit and I did not purchase glasses or contacts here, nor do I intend to.  I usually do that at Costco since they are incredibly reasonably priced compared to every optometrist I have dealt with in the past.  However, I will definitely be going back to Spokane Eye Clinic for eye exams.

My distance vision was not improved and after the surgery U could no longer use regular reading glasses. Dr. Gilbert said my problem was then due to dry eye and not the surgery after which I did not return to that clinic (and wait 2 or 3 hours for nothing).

    Schweitzer, Dr. John F.
My family has been using Schweitzer Vision Center for three years now. We have had both John and his wife Jennifer provide services; they are both VERY personable, happy, and professional. We have also been impressed with the modern technology in their office - I have never seen the apparatus they have there in any other office. Dr. John Schweitzer told me it is equipment that is used for preventative measures; I like that!! I have also been EXTREMELY impressed with their staff's knowledge of insurance companies and coverage; they have always been helpful in showing me what insurance will and will not cover; making sure I take as much advantage as possible of my insurance!
The office is easy to find and always appears to be neat, clean, and orderly.
I give this business my Highest recommendation!

    Spokane Eye Clinic
assistant appeared to do most all of the testing & the provider only checked the results but the clinic was allowed to bill for both services which, apparently, small clinics do not usually do but Medicare allows the bigger clinics to.  They were unable to address the specific needs for my computer glasses.  The opticians had them remade twice, but they still were nothing more than modified reading glasses.  Optician said the company they worked with did not do the work necessary to make what I wanted.  He recommended some other clinics that should satisfy my eye needs.

My doctor there is Christopher Sturbaun and I've been working with him for years because I have some eye issues and he always been on top of everything and doing the tests and recommending. In fact, he has done surgeries on my eyes and it has been very successful. I just trust him. The whole staff is great. I give them all A's.

    Larry Milsow MD
He is an excellent doctor! He does very thorough work. I'd had a very bright light shined in my eye, so I went to see him immediately. After assessing my eye, he decided that I needed immediate surgery to repair a detached retina. He didn’t hesitate with this and was able to perform the procedure right there in his office. I have been seeing him for 10 years now, on a regular basis. I would recommend to anyone!

I felt that my exam was on a just adequate level and it felt and quot;hurriedand quot;... then i was billed significantly more then my previous regular optometry exams had ever been. I disputed the bill and an adjustment was made.

    Bray, Dr. William H.
My eyesight is now 20/20 without the aid of glasses. There is some smearing, for lack of a better word, in the right eye at night but there is so much more light available to me at my night vision is now better than it's been since I was a child. So everything went as close to perfect as is humanly possible.

The exam was brief and the concerns I verbalized to this doctor were listened to politely, but I did not feel I was "heard".  This doctor favors a natural approach and prescribed a natural remedy of some drops which he provided at a cost of $40.  I was instructed to try them and return if they did not help.  I was looking for a more concrete diagnosis and treatment plan, so was disappointed and would not return.
As far as Dr. Wylie's chair-side manner, he was soft spoken and gentle in the exam, he was friendly.
