    Kindred is always very responsive and proactive. They notice items around my home that might need repair, replacing, or servicing and let me know so I can decide on a course of action. If I have an emergency (like my refrigerator gives out just before 4th of July weekend!!) they are quick to find a way to help me. They are professional and do a great job. For me they have performed landscaping maintenance include sprinkler repair and winterization, housecleaning, winterization and summarization of the house, minor home repairs and appliance replacements and servicing.

    I called 5 minutes after his office opened at 8 a.m. and he answered personally. I described the problem with my GE stove and gave him the model number. I asked him if he could come that same day and he was at my house in about 30 minutes. His 44 years of experience enabled him to go directly to the problem which he fixed. I have a drop-in range which he pulled out to do the repair. He was kind enough to ask if I would like to sweep behind the stove before he pushed it back in place. He was in and out within about 30 minutes. Super knowledgeable and professional. You couldn't ask for better than Jerry.

    My repairman was Stanley. Knowledgable and friendly. I should mention: before I had Stanley here, I had a Sears repairman who said the refrigerator problem was not fixable - he charged me $110 for doing nothing. I thought he was "mistaken" (put your own phrase in there). I took a picture (attached to this review) of the broken line and took it to Jeffreys (recommended by local Fred's Appliance). They took a look at the issue and said "No problem." So, Stanley came out, looked at the problem and said he needed a better water line than what he brought with him that day. So, he left to order the correct line and came back about 4 days later. He replaced the water line with new stuff and turned on the water. Another leak appeared at the top of the fridge. He took off a hinge cover and immediately fixed the other leak (note that this fridge was new to me but purchased used). With both visits, total time was about 40 min. Well done and I am happy with the result.

    The technician in his experience felt that the 1 circuit board replacement would fix the problem. He came prepared with all 3 should it have needed it - turns out the 1 replacement fixed the problem! I am so thankful for his honesty and his experience! Saved us a lot of $$ (the other 2 unused boards were returned to factory), and I have a range that has worked perfectly since! Highly recommend Jeffrey's Appliances.

    A repairman came out the next day. ( The office told us the day before that the repairman would call before he came out. He didn't. I was still getting dressed when he showed up.) Unfortunately, he said he didn't repair appliances and the charge for removing/installing the microwave was $175. We told him we'd have to find another repairman and he left. We were left wondering why the office sent him out in the first place if he didn't repair appliances. Wasted our time and his.

    It went well. The cost was covered on the service agreement. the only thing I didn't like is that the service man whom I scheduled the appointment day said I'll probably be first but when the day came I was second and the first person was in Coeur D'Alene which is an hour away`so I had to take time off work and sit around the house for two extra hours. I didn't like that and he said he was not able to change it, his company would not allow him to do that- change the first appointment of the day. And I believe him.

    There is no substitute for experience.  I called Jerry at 8am and described the problem over the phone.  I didn't have the model number handy, just the name of the refrigerator manufacturer and its configuration.  He diagnosed the problem, explained to me what needed to be done and asked if I'd like him to do it.  I told him I would and he showed up 1 hour and 45 minutes later.
    He took apart the freezer, removed the problem blocking the drain and the plug.  Explained that replacing the plug isn't actually going to solve the problem and as he's done this before, simply left the plug out.  He reassembled the drawer, asked if I'd like him to restock the freezer (no) and he was on his way in 45 minutes.
    Along the way, I learned a little about Jerry, his family and his business which he's had for 40 plus years.  I can't say this more clearly.  He's absolutely terrific to deal with and if you're fortunate enough to have him in your home, you'll be pleased by the work, the conversation and the fair prices charged.
