North Idaho Eye Institute - Coeur D Alene
The office was efficient, Dr was knowledgeable and diagnosis was made in one visit,  Surgery to take place end of January so no input on effectiveness and end result.

    Hussey, Dr. Eric S.
I would use Dr Hussey for everything if I could. He is great! Very knowledgable but adds personal interaction that you just don't find anymore. He puts you at ease and does not make you feel like you are being rushed through. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor.

    Clapper, Dr. Roy
Very pleased with Dr. Clapper. He did a thorough exam on my DD and, clearly, explained how she should take care of her new lenses. We liked him so much I went back a couple of weeks later to get myself a new prescription.

    Bray, Dr. William H.
My eyesight is now 20/20 without the aid of glasses. There is some smearing, for lack of a better word, in the right eye at night but there is so much more light available to me at my night vision is now better than it's been since I was a child. So everything went as close to perfect as is humanly possible.

He is a very good doctor. He is young, but he is kind and gentle. I really was very impressed with him.

    Larry Milsow MD
He is an excellent doctor! He does very thorough work. I'd had a very bright light shined in my eye, so I went to see him immediately. After assessing my eye, he decided that I needed immediate surgery to repair a detached retina. He didn’t hesitate with this and was able to perform the procedure right there in his office. I have been seeing him for 10 years now, on a regular basis. I would recommend to anyone!

    Stahl Optical
We have been going to them for about six years. They do not have an optometrist or ophthalmologist. They take prescriptions from the optometrist and ophthalmologist and only make the glasses. They take personal interest in getting the glasses done right. They take special care of their patients and they work with the doctors. They remember you by name. The customer service is good and they keep track of warranties.  Their hours are not always most convenient because they do not work weekends, however they have volunteered to come in on weekends to help out. They have special packages for kids if you do not have eye insurance; you can get glasses for your kids at a reasonable price. They go above and beyond the warranty on the kids’ glasses. They also help you with styles. They go the extra mile to make sure you get what you need.

Because of my frustration with the provider in my new home, I took the opportunity of a trip to re-visit Ken Brown, to have him tend my contacts. He and his staff were as good as I remembered - attentive, timely, taking a peronal interest. I mattered. I knew going to the IOC was a good experience(over 15+ years),but until my difficult experience elsewhere, didn't not realize how very positive it was.

I am pleased with them and I have used them for a number of years. They are inexpensive glasses and it seems to be the best thing for me. I have been changing my lenses every year, They do have some expensive ones, but I find the inexpensive ones so I don't feel guilty about changing my lenses every year. They seem professional, it is always handled very well, and I have never had any trouble with the glasses. If something comes loose or anything I just go in and it is repaired very quickly and neatly. The only disadvantage is that they do send them off, so you do have to wait. It is not like going in to some of the other stores where you get them immediately. Some people may not want to wait. They say two weeks but I have never waited two weeks.
