    Simon's Construction Services
We hired Simon after seeing the incredible work he did on a family member's deck. Not only did he give us our lowest bid, but his workers did an amazing job. We had a 30 year old 500+ square foot deck that needed to be completely torn down and replaced. They were able to start immediately and got the job done earlier than expected. Simon was always available for communication and stopped by often to check on the work. His workers were friendly and professional. I can't speak highly enough about this company. If you need any work done, call SCS!

    T&C Contracting
Within an hour of locating T&C Contracting on Angie's list on a Saturday, Tim was at my home to give me a free estimate. I immediately felt comfortable in speaking with him that he was the contractor for me. By Monday the house and roof had been power washed and the roof is looking great. the next Monday Tim and his crew were back to start prepping and painting the house and by Wednesday it as completed and looking great. To me this is impressive considering the amount of prep work needed to even start painting from scraping, priming, removal and re-sealing windows and doors and fixing and replacing door toe kicks and building out a window ledge on a window that never had one! And I cannot forget my bad choice of a trim color that Tim readily took to have re-tinted and which now is the color and look that I imagined. Oh yes, and all of this at a very reasonable price! I have already discussed having T&C Contracting back soon to look into doing some other work I am planning on having done. Thanks again Tim and Crew!

C and C gave me the best quote out of 3. They helped me choose a quality product, and kept me informed on when to expect them to arrive and how many days the work would take. They were always on time, cleaned up after themselves and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend them.

    Simon's Construction Services
We started with a finishing up a botched job, by another contractor that we fired, of adding a bathroom to a laundry room in the basement. Simon's crew did such a professional job that we decided to get all of the changes to our house that we had planned for the future. This included a new open concept kitchen, new pantry, new beautiful stair treads and banister, new 12' X 20' deck off our living room/sun room, refinishing and updating the gas fireplace, combining two small bedrooms and a small master bath into a large master bedroom and larger updated bathroom and refinishing all of the oak floors.. The masterpiece though was the sunroom that was 11" down from the kitchen on concrete and cold as heck during the winter with old leaky windows. His master craftsman, James, created a work of art with that room. Fully insulated, new windows, beautiful cedar work on walls and windows. Simon and his crew were fair and accurate in their pricing. They worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted. They were always there when they said they would be. Their work is so good we want them to build a small office in our back yard for business. We'll let you know how that goes. We recommend Simon's company for anyone who wants a quality job of renovation done. I could not put the price in the next field successfully so I will include it here. The entire cost of the project was $130,000.00. Later we will add pictures to this review.

    Inland Home Improvements Inc.
Well, the windows went pretty good. Generally nice work. One window was ordered too small and it was covered up with trim work and never mentioned. The term on one outside window has a one inch gap between the siding that was never addressed. The doors. One door put in wrong location. We paid to leave it and upgrade the other door. Trim on door done in different style than discussed. Worker stated "I heard what you wanted, but Dan told me to do it this way". Trim work. Poor quality workmanship. Lots of gaps in the work. We are having to use wood filler and finish it. Deck repairs: was done horrendously the first time. Dan came back and made some major improvements but the final work done was bad again. Poor cuts, loose boards. Could have done better myself. 50 ft of gutter not done initially but they did get it taken care of after a few weeks. He started getting an attitude about getting payment For the final half even before the work was completed. My. Wife was the main contact during the project and definitely felt he did not listen or follow though with what he said. It took two months to start the work not two weeks. Poor communication And poor workmanship are the reasons we would not use again. Price was ok but not sure if we paid for materials/labor that had to be done over...

The project was done when schedule and completed within 3 days. The crew was professional and personable. Any questions that were asked by us were answered in a professional and courteous manner. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them for any future projects we would have.

    Simon's Construction Services
It took a little while to coordinate a visit and get a bid - mostly due to our schedules - but once we had the bid it was a fast, easy, and professional experience. Everyone that worked on the job was great - and nice to our obnoxious dogs. :) Simon was very responsive when we called and texted with questions before and during the job. We trusted him to build without a very specific diagram, but everything came out just as he described. We're very happy with the results and will gladly hire Simon and his team again.

    Rosetta Construction
David was immediately contacted to be the general for our repairs, we knew from the moment the storm started and the news showed how bad it was getting that a GOOD contractor would be impossible to find for many, many months. Initial insurance estimate was substantially less than we expected, however then our insurance company called in a structural engineer from out of town. That took us to nearly Christmas getting that inspection done and the write up (a large tree hit the house causing damage). We did find out that more of our rafter structure was severely damaged from that inspection. The third set of estimates came from David when the house could actually be inspected with no snow on the roof. Since David's estimate was more than the first couple of insurance adjustments, a third agent was dispatched out to inspect the house with David showing him the work he wanted to do and what was needed vs what the initial agents estimated. The insurance agent complimented me on a great and fair contractor and quickly accepted the full amount of the bid with no quibbling. He told us how "lucky" we were to even have a contractor as all of their recommended list had long ago stopped even taking work. As an aside one of my neighbors was still waiting for a recommend by the insurance contractor to do more than get his contract signed and disappear for literally a year! We had to wait until May to get started, needed long enough with good weather for the entire roof to be cut off the house, rafters and all. My only quibble with the job David did comes then, I would have requested drop clothes be put under the house when the roof was cut off. We worked with David to make improvements to the house that we paid for over the top of the insurance repairs which really dramatically improved the house for us, changed the look substantially, and have greatly increased our satisfaction with coming home to our NEW home. We were able to remain in the home the entire time David was working on the massive repair, we had to give up the living room and dining room for many weeks so we would not be tracking construction into our living space, but as soon as was possible David got that finished up so we could again live in the full space of the home. We completed final inspections in July 2016, while most of the homes around us had not even got simple shingles replaced, we had a major renovation done on time and on budget. I felt completely safe not being home while David and his workers were on site, felt my family was completely safe. Next time we do remodeling work, David will be doing the work.

The project itself went well. Demolition was done and cleaned up in one day. Deck went up in a timely manner. Awning roof went up in one day, extra crew came the days more help was needed. All in all it was a fantastic experience. Simon was ver personable and communicated frequently with process updates. Would definitely use Simon Construction Services again.

Simon was a pleasure to work with. His son John not only did excellent work, but his ideas made the project even better. Not only was the work awesome, but it greatly improved the home. If anything else needs to be done I will call on Simon.
