  • Dang do I appreciate Poulsbo heating! I have an older (1960’s) oil furnace in Bremerton that would not start up…. I called another service company to come check it out…. They spent about 15min. working on it and could not get the furnace to fire. I was told the circuitry was bad and the blower motor was shot…. They would send out a sales guy and left me the bill. Sales guy comes out and their bid was almost $8,000.00 Well….. I started thing a second opinion might not be a bad idea….. Called Poulsbo Heating and asked if they would send a Service guy down to Bremerton, was to told no problem and scheduled an appointment. Service guy shows up on time, he unsuccessfully tries to fire up the furnace….. Goes upstairs, removes the batteries from the thermostat, puts the batteries back in…. Goes back downstairs, hits the button and everything fires right up….. Dang, now who’d a thunk a that? The Poulsbo heating maestro, that’s who! Now he fully cleans, adjusts and waves a magic screwdriver over the old system…. Everything now works perfectly….. $250.00 vs $8000.00 Poulsbo Heating has a customer for life!

  • The furnace diagnostic went fine, the tech was on time and showed me what I needed to know. He put a sticker up on the furnace but forgot to write the date and what he did. The quote was a different matter, the representative was 20 minutes late. She went thru the house collecting information, left saying she'd have a quote back to us soon, but we never got one. When I called to ask about it, the representative that came by had left the company and no one had our information. What's more, no one had let us know any of this. They offered to send out another rep to do another quote, but I declined.

  • They did a good job at a fair priced. Checked with other company's and settled on Bainbridge for the price and reviews. Very Professional and fixed a few things I didn't like on the spot, even hooked up the stove and made sure it was working good.

  • Great. I called Bainbridge Heating and Air on a Friday afternoon after another company cancelled on me that day and couldn't reschedule for two weeks. Bainbridge Heating and Air was able to squeeze me in that SAME day and arrived in about 30 minutes! They figured out that the cap on the top of the duct up on the roof had fallen down too far onto the duct, not allowing enough exhaust out which caused some of the exhaust to backflow into the garage, creating the condensation in the garage. We re-positioned the cap, and the problem was solved instantly! I just need to secure the cap in place with some sheet metal screws, but other than that, everything's as good as new! Thanks!

  • This company was out three times to fix work that was done incorrectly the first time. The technician didn't seem to know what the actual problem was and convinced me to replace several parts amounting to a lot of money. The issue was never fixed, he came back out and still the problem consisted then the owner came out. The issue was never resolved in the end and when I called back to inquire about solutions the customer service I was given was horrible. In the end my furnace is costing me more money than had the technician from this company was competent enough to know what and where the issue was. It seems as if it got worse and my bills have doubled.

  • My furnace didn't seem to be working so I called Dana's and they promptly sent out a technician to perform a diagnostic evaluation. The technician promptly found the issue and provided me with several options. I chose to get a new furnace as mine was 25 yrs old. They sent out a Comfort advisor to perform a thorough evaluation of the home (sq footage, window surface area, duct condition etc) to make sure that the final product would not only meet our needs but absolutely delight us! I appreciated the fact that there was no pressure to buy the most expensive product, just the CORRECT one. I decided to spend a little more since I have bad allergies and they had that option. I know I am in good hands as they have a service plan that comes with the furnace. I would recommend them to any of my friends or family.

  • The company gave us options and recommendations.  Once we made our choice, they kept us informed every step of the way. Work was perform exactly as we wanted in a very professional manner.  They also checked back with us 3 weeks afterward to make sure that we were happy with the unit and with their service.  This company seems to take pride in their excellent customer service.  I would recommend this company to my friends.

  • Dana's installed a new HE gas furnace for me five years ago and have done annual service on it ever since. From the beginning the furnace would run a while, shut off, then run again repeatedly until the house came up to temperature each morning. Dana's coolly and professionally did troubleshooting and made adjustments and part replacements each year but never fully corrected the problem. This year Danas made a full evaluation of the home and of the past attempts to correct the problem. They concluded the original furnace installed was too large for the home and replaced it with a new furnace more correctly sized for the home - at no charge! When the new furnace produced operating noises through the return air ducting they returned later and installed special ductwork segments which eliminated all noise problems - at no charge!
    From 'James' the annual service technician who tried every time to fix the first furnace problem, to 'Roger' who finally did the research to find the real problem, to 'Dana' himself who accepted the situation and determined to "make it right," and to David and Tim who did the replacement work I always had professionals who are just nice guys working on the problem. Never a fuss, never an issue, never a problem to have in the home always leaving things clean and neat.  To me, this has been a class act from the beginning and I now have a perfectly functioning furnace that runs quieter and better. Looking at other reviews of Dana's and from my own experience I can recommend them without reserve.

  • They were prompt, personable, and the problem did not get resolved. They are nice guys. They got here when they said they would. They made some recommendations for what we should do, but it did not exactly work out. We ended up fixing it ourselves.

  • A challenging job due to a tight installation space, open beam ceilings, and the need to add a new electrical panel. Plus, the power went out and they had to rely on flashlights and headlamps! The entire crew was very professional, efficient, and polite (sorry, Arron, about my dog eating your lunch). Their price was very competitive and there were no hidden costs. The 3 installers and 2 electricians worked quite well as a team. The foreman (Arron) and the field rep (Tory) made sure I was aware of and involved in each step of the process. The new system works wonderfully and we like the option of just using the air handler blower to circulate the warm air from our basement wood stove. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone needing a new heating system.
