  • Dr. Tsai made time for me when he didn't have it and spent two hours with me gathering extensive information trying to figure out what was going on. He is a wonderful doctor and an unusually wonderful person. They took me right away for the appointment and the staff was very, very friendly.

  • He's very professional and really knows what he is talking about. He deals with very complex issues and he is able to explain what he wants done and why. He is very encouraging about things. His medical assistant is wonderful, but the front desk stinks.

  • Dr Heide is very throrough, and he takes every case seriously. He sent me to a number of other specialists, but he managed my case, and made sure that all info came back through him. He was very good about explaining what he thought might be wrong and why, how he was going to test to confirm, and then following up with results. Throughout the process, some of the other doctors and test technicians made some comments that had really freaked me out. One told me I was going to have to have heart surgery soon to keep me from having a stroke. Another looked at an MRI and mumbled something like, "hmm, it appears your frontal lobe is shrinking". Of course both of these incidents were on Friday afternoons, so I got to be freaked out all weekend. Dr Heide assured me that neither was correct. More importantly, Dr Heide NEVER ONCE made a sloppy comment like that. Which is a really good trait in a neurologist, since you tend to be going to them for scary things to begin with. Dr Heide is blunt. Not everyone will appreciate this. I know of three other people that have gone to him, and 2 of the 3 loved him. The 3rd is borderline mentally unstable, so take that with a grain of salt. Dealing with neurological issues is scary, and I really appreciated Dr Heide's straightforward manner, throroughness, and confidence. Although he can be blunt, he is also somehow comforting.

  • He himself was very good, but his staff was real bad. I need them to send some information to the insurance company so we could get the claims filled out, it took three months. In fact there was this one time the insurance company called them directly to try and get it set up and the nurse refused to take the call. They're not very professional at all.
