Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Puyallup

They showed up with wrong parts, had to go get parts. Came back and did very unprofessional repair, air hose didn't fit so alarm was leaking air. I asked about this and technician said it would be fine. It wasn't! Air alarm started chirping everynight when throw back process was running. A waste of money, I had to hire another company to correct the problem. I'll never use these people again. Flowhawks charged $341.00 for nothing.

    A Advanced Septic
I own and operate more than 50 residential properties in the Pierce County, WA, area. I will NEVER hire A Advanced for work again. The septic inspection was performed by an angry, little man that simply hated his job. He was unprofessional and didnt take care or pay attention to detail whatsoever. He had a helper with him that dumped more dirt and rock into the pump chamber than I had dug up from around the lid. The icing on the cake is they started a new computer system that week. Oddly, an April repair gets an additional $458 invoice in October after $241 was paid May 1...hmmm. Stay away and go with Flohawks.

I thought I needed pumping or was having main line problems as Flohawks had come out many months previous, snaked the main line, and said everything else was fine (apparently it wasn't). NW Septic sent out a pump truck but the driver (the owner?) said the tank didn't need to be pumped and he thought it might be the inlet riser and had the office send out some guys to take a closer look. Those guys came out to work on the inlet but quickly realized the drain field was not working properly and would need bigger equipment. They came back the day after the locates were finished and were able to repair the drain field in a few hours. There were 2 sections of crushed pipe and it also needed to be jetted. In the end they came in under the estimate which was nice. I was not charged for the first 2 visits where they diagnosed the problem and wasn't made to feel obligated to use them for the repairs.

Gary responded promptly and we set up setup an appointment right away. The costs are fairly standard in Pierce county. Had an issue with the drain field being overgrown. Gary help getting that resolved. We paid him to do all the paperwork with the county. Great in keeping updated with events. Would easily recommend and have already.

    G & N Septic Tank Service
yes they were rated highly in 2013 by Angies List and I used them to pump out Septic tank. Flash to June 2017 and had them pump tank again for routine- beware they are using scare tactics that your drainfield is in imminent failure but they will perform a Drainfield Diagnostic immediately (digging up the outlet pipe) for over $1200. Coincidentally the "Drainfield Diagnostic' Technician was riding along with the pumper driver. I declined but had them pump the tank anyway. I got a second opinion and they said it's a scare tactic to perform unnecessary work and my tank and drainfield was fine. Beware Beware!

On the initial call with Bill he seemed more interested in how many bedrooms my house was listed for than actually getting to the septic issue. I scheduled a time for them to come out and nobody showed up or called. I called back a couple weeks later to find out what happened and a gal answered the phone that said she would find out from Bill and get back to me. No communication again for another couple of weeks. I called back again and talked with Bill a second time. We rescheduled. I wasn't able to meet the technician that came out the second time. He fixed the issues no problem but I was NOT called and informed how much the repair would be or consulted before proceeding with said repairs. I got a bill a few days later that asked me to remit payment at my earliest convenience. Only to find out that they already charged my card. Didn't even give me the option for taking the cash discount. Okay, so as bothersome as their communications were the work they performed was great and quick (once they showed up). And, if truth be told, the job was probably much cheaper than other places would have charged. I would call them again just based on the price and the quality of work. Invoice says they took about 4 hours to replace the dbox and outlet baffle and then stress test the system (450 gallons).

It went very well. Gary was considerate of my time and got in very quickly. He responds quickly to email and phone calls and was an absolute gem to work with. I would hire him again in a heart beat. He was great at explaining what to do with a septic tank and when to schedule additional repair for our drain field. He is very knowledgeable.

Septic Alarm went off, was referred to NW Septic from another family-owned business. They responded same-day, were very polite, friendly, & informative. Turned out that my pump had quit and needed replacing. They had a pump available and had me back in service within a few hours. I will call them again soon to schedule pumping my tank.

I sent an email and he responded right away. He asked if it was an emergency or could wait. He actually showed a bit early but asked if that was ok. He took and look at my tank and almost talked me out of pumping because he thought it looked ok, but considering our heavy use (I do alot of laundry for my disabled Dad and sister, plus teenager showers, and we have an old system) we mutually agreed its better to pump slightly early. But nice to be given honest assessment and choice. Then he repaired some minor issues for free. His prices seem reasonable and he's friendly and polite. I used him 4 years ago and will call him again when needed.

Plumber arrived earlier than expected and explained the hourly rate and services he would perform. He had to locate and dig up the septic tank lid. It turned out to just be a main line clog which he snaked without a problem. He billed their fixed rate for cleaning out the main line as it was less expensive than 2 hours labor would have been. It's still a lot of money but I guess that's how much this kind of work costs and it was not something I was familiar enough to fix myself.
