    Good. He fixed some stuff that wasn't to code. Friendly....but maybe toooo friendly and a little touchy feely. Gotta be aware that being too close and touching can be misinterpreted and may not always be appreciated or accepted.

    The dishwasher was not cleaning our dishes anymore. We checked the filter and couldn't figure it out. So we called Sears. The dishwasher is about 2 years old. The first repair guy was sick and had to reschedule for another two weeks out. No idea why they couldn't get another person out but okay, whatever. When he did show up he was nice enough and seemed knowledgeable. Sears outsources it repair people so he wasn't a Sears employee. He checked out the washer and thought it was the motor. Okay, so he ordered a new motor for us and another 3 or 4 weeks later he comes back to install the new motor. At this point it was nearly months we were out a dishwasher and about $500. He leaves, we test the dishwasher, same issue. Dishes are not getting cleaned. I'm not even sure we needed a new motor. My wife called up Sears 5 different times on several different numbers and Sears just kept saying they installed the part and were done. $500 and the dishwasher still doesn't work. They charged us for repairs that didn't work and their customer service was terrible. I will not being using them ever again and I caution others to stay away as well.

    Pat came in and after some troubleshooting determined it was the control board. I paid for the service call and ordered the control board myself. After installing it, the problem persisted. I googled the issue and the first link I came across suggested looking at the wiring, specifically where the wires from the washing machine are connected to the wiring from the house. And bingo, the wires were not connected very well. Pat never even looked at that. It would have been a 5 minute fix. It left me with doubts about his troubleshooting skills. I did reach out to him in light of this to see if he wanted to somehow make the situation right and he never responded to my calls/messages.

    Needed a service repair (ice maker) on an out of warranty Samsung refrigerator. The two local companies that service the Tacoma, WA area did not respond to the email request. I attempted to make an appointment with some other local companies, but they did not service Samsung. It took three calls to the Samsung company to find a service repair. The first wouldn't be able to come out for a month to look at the appliance. The second wanted to charge $100 for the diagnostics, and that amount was not applied to any service or parts. Although Sharper Service Solutions is based in the Portland, OR area, they do provide service to the Tacoma, WA area. They were able to come to my house the next day, had the necessary parts on hand, and fixed the refrigerator in about 90 minutes. Although it seems that repairs are always more than what we want to pay, it was a fair price. The technician also provided information about possible other problems to watch out for based on his service experience. I highly recommend.

    Sears replaced the igniter, which was obviously faulty from the beginning. The stove came with my new house but I had only used the lower oven 1 time in the year and a half I have lived here, but when I went to use it, the warranty was expired and so was the oven. Sears was great. Came on a Saturday, replaced the part and it has worked fine since.

    It took several weeks before the technician could stop by and make the repairs. It took the technician only a few minutes to diagnose the problem and replace the plastic pieces in the agitator. Overall I thought it took way too long to get the technician to the house and then it was fairly expensive for only a few minutes of work and some cheap plastic parts. I did however like the technician and felt he was very pleasant and professional.

    He was here 2 min and said it was done but I still paid over $100 for that and to vacuum out the dryer. I didn't know they don't clean behind, only pull off the front which cost me $40. I will do it myself from now on. I had to buy a new washer. The new washer experience was even worse. It was a frustrating and expensive.

    Thomas Mead was excellent to deal with from start to finish. We needed our Icon treadmill serviced and decided on Thomas after reviewing bids. His communication and knowledge during the entire process were exceptional. We also were very happy with his very competitive pricing and that he didn't try to upsell us with a bunch of things we didn't need. We will be relying on Mr. Mead for all our future exercise equipment and massage chair repair needs.
