    We called to see if we could get our washer fixed and he told us what we could try to do to fix it and we were able to fix it with no service call!! I am so impressed that he could have easily charged us for a service call but was kind enough to give my husband a few pointers to try beforehand!!! I will recommend Dave's appliance to all my friends and family!!! Thank you so much!!!

    “SEARS IS SLIPPING! I bought a brand new refrigerator for an upscale rental in Winthrop, Washington. I plugged it in and 24 hours later it was still warm inside, neither the freezer nor main interior were cooling. On Tuesday, February 11th I called for service and was told it would be A FULL Month before a repair technician could come by. I told them this is unacceptable and they said they'd put me on "emergency status" and would call me within 24 hours to give me update. NO CALL. On Thursday (the 13th) I again called them, this time requesting a loaner for the month till the technician could come out. They said they would call me back within 24 hours and again, the time passed with NO CALL! On Saturday, the 15th, I called Sears again and an employee in charge of “escalation resolution” told me there was nothing she could do to expedite service or provide me with a loaner in the interim. I asked if I could speak to her superior, she said, “yes”, after which, she put me on hold for nearly half an hour, before the call was dropped and I could not locate her. They are completely M.I.A. Do NOT BUY appliances from Sears. They no longer provide adequate support for their products.“

    Showed up on time, and did a very good job of making my annoying gas range more usable. He had to take one burner away for some outside work, which added about $20 to the total price. I was a little surprised at the cost, only because I wasn't given a ballpark price. The burners work beautifully now, and the oven comes up to temperature. He knew what he was doing, and was on time for both appointments.

    Overcharged on the quote for a trip charge. 500.00 trip charge and they couldn't do anything because a circuit board was out. They quoted 170.00 and just took the 500.00 right out of my account and when I called they Amy hung up on me. If they repair Thermador appliance's and the trip charge is 500.00 dollars they could at least let you talk to someone about it knowing that if the user interface is not working they can't even test it. Also the repairman turned everything off and on again and it didn't come back on then asked me do you have another refrigerator and i said no. So the refrigerator was working when he got here and wasn't when he was done.

    Long Appliance Repair
    I noticed that our refrigerator wasn't working and found Mr. Nathan Long in the area newspaper on an advertisement.  I called the number on Sunday 07/17/2016, just to see if anybody would answer.  To my surprise, Mr. Long answered the phone on a Sunday and offered to come out right then to look at the appliance.  This wasn't an emergency, so I scheduled an appointment for him to come out the following day (Monday 07/18/2016).  He showed up on time and immediately knew what the problem was.  His service fee was $60.00.  He ordered that parts that day and then came out the following day to install them.  The parts cost $40.00.  For $100.00 Mr. Long was able to diagnose the problem, get the parts and come to the house on two separate occasions (once to diagnose the problem and once to fix it). Mr. Long was respectful when he arrived and took off his shoes at the door, called prior to coming out and arrived on time.  He was easy to speak with and offered advice on some other issues around the house. I will use Mr. Long again for any other appliance issues we may have and will recommend him to friends.  He did a great job.

    Straight Line Appliance Repair
    I called Maytag who first sent a different tech out but they didn't fix it. When Straight Line came out, he was very professional and knowledgeable. He researched to see if there was a service alert for the model of dishwasher that I have. There was one posted so he knew exactly what parts needed to be ordered and how to fix it. When he returned to install the parts, again he was very professional. I would highly recommend them.

    On the oven my problem was fixed and I was charged a fair price. With the dryer, Bob tried to find the problem but it did not present itself when he was here. He didn't charge me for the visit even though I asked if I could reimburse him for his trouble. I will call him with all of my repair needs.
