Plumber reviews in Pacific

as I said above, these guys were great, the plumber was quick and got the job done, even cleaned up the tub after. The lights were all installed, mud to clean up, texture, now I just have to touch up paint(my choice). The fence post was replaced, boards back up and yard secure, and the area was cleaned up, all the old junk gone. I have more work to be done and will use Nick again. the price was very good, the work done to my satisfaction, and he was really nice. Nick made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

Aaron contacted me on Nov 17 and told me what time he'd be here.
Arrived at the time he said. Flushed the water heater; checked the temperature for me.
    Pleasant and professional.
Would use them again for plumbing needs.

Interior jobs: re-installed towel bar that was coming off the wall; re-caulked bathtub; replacing existing shower head with new hand-held water saver style.  Put latch on screen door.
Exterior jobs: Hung 36" wide outdoor planter under my kitchen window.  Installed 6 small deck rail lights (I will need to hire an electrician to connect them due to the kit not having enough wire); installed 3 battery operated motion sensor lights.  Removed and re-installed top on a picnic table that had been originally installed improperly.
The only reason I didn't give them an A is because Paladin sent a different general contractor to do the work due to Paladin having too many responses to their Big Deal ad.
The team Paladin sent was punctual, friendly and professional. They checked with me as they went from project to project to get my input. (They cleaned up after themselves too which is always a plus.)

Prior to the appointment I sent 2 e-mails very specifically outlining what I needed to have done.
When the appointment day came I hadn't heard from him; called him and he didn't seem to know about the appointment but came anyway. Seemed annoyed when I said it was for slow drains. (Prior to buying this deal I checked the website and saw they were promoting how good they were with clearing drains)
I believe it  was the owner that arrived. Very negative attitude; couldn't seem to stay off the phone.
I had to leave the room because I was so annoyed with his attitude.
Won't be using or recommending them.

August 30: Plumber arrived and was telling me that there are other issues due to water pressure, etc. (I had been in this house for 5 months at this time and hadn't had any problems with the toilet).  I felt that the issue was solely with the toilet.
I again stated that I wanted the whole interior of the toilet replaced. When the plumber left he gave me a bill for $192 for "rebuilt toilet".
After he left running water sounds would come from my toilet off and on every 20 minutes or so which seemed to me that water was leaking somewhere and the toilet wouldn't fill anymore. Called plumber and they'll be back on Sep 4. I was concerned about my water bill going up so I weighted down the flapper and still heard the water running. On September 4 again the plumber said it could be my home's water pressure or maybe my water heater (which is brand new as of June of this year). He even was trying to tell me there was something to do with the bathtub. Turns out that on August 30 only the flapper, fill valve and supply line were changed. This time the plumber only replaced the red flapper (said the one put in on August 30 was defective). STILL heard the water running. Called again and someone else came out on September 13; this plumber said the problem was with the red flapper which he said was defective....the second defective one. He replaced the red flapper with an orange one and also needed to change the chain which was part of the original tank parts.
The reason I won't have them back is that:
    1. 1.  they didn't replace the entire guts of the toilet which I very clearly asked for when I made the appointment and asked for again after the first visit
    2. 2.  on two of the visits they were implying that more extensive repairs were needed on other items (example: tub drain and/or water heater) when I knew the problem was clearly with the guts of the toilet

Mike and Ryan were punctual, professional, and courteous.
They responded to my disposal backing up (brown silt was bubbling up from the drain).
Turns out the baffle tee was full of junk; they cleaned this out and we discussed why
it happened and some things I could do in the future to keep it from happening again.
Felt they were very fair with their pricing.
They will be my "go to" plumbers for any future plumbing needs.

They are an amazing team, working as long as it takes to get the job done.  When they discovered that the drain line they were to tie into was cracked and leaking they opened up the basement floor further, tied in 3 different drain lines, and replaced a section of the existing line.  All this for a negotiated price increase that was more than fair.  The second (last) day they worked from 10AM till 10pm to get the job done. To say I was impressed is putting it mildly.  The basement floor is now dry and the drain plumbing is rock solid thanks to their knowledge and perseverance.

The existing hot water was failing, taking way to long to heat the water or staying hot.  I came home one day to find it leaking.  After checking Angie's List, I choice Complete Heating as they were nearby and able to work with my schedule.  We discussed the pros and cons of each system and were very knowledgeable about each option.  They had the needed water tank in stock and were able to install it quickly and remove the old one.  The work area was cleaned up satisfactorily and the water tank is working nicely.

This was in reply to a "The Big Deal".  I've been needing some plumbing work done around my house and this looked like the perfect opportunity.  Ramon responded quickly to set up an appointment with me when I told him what I needed - 3 outside faucets repaired and 1 outside faucet installed.  He assured me, he would be able to fix at least 1 or 2 of the faucets and give me estimate on the other jobs in the allotted 2 hours. He would be here at 930am.

6/11/11 came, he was late, arriving about 10am. I showed him what I needed, he said he didn't have the faucets on his truck that were needed and would have to go get them.  He left, I closed the side gate.  He & his assistant returned from Home Depot, using up much of the 2 hours.  He gave me the estimates for the other jobs and, he would return 6/13/11 after 5pm to finish those jobs, as it would only take an hour or so.  He would have to purchase the the flexible line that was needed at a specialty plumbing supply.  I paid him for the Home Depot faucet purchase and asked him to please be sure and keep the gate closed.  Then I found the cut out in the drywall where he repaired the south faucet.  Then I closed the side gate, that was left open again.

6/13/11 5pm came & went, he arrived @ 630pm. He did get the east faucet repaired and then installed the west faucet.  The installation on the outside brick wall looks great. He did a nice job.  Unfortunately, I was not aware that he & his assistant would not be able to repair the drywall that they tore out to install the flexible line & west faucet until the entire job was finished.  I went outside and picked up the fast food drink cups that were left  on the ground.  As we were both tired when they finally let @ 930-10pm, we both neglected to see I failed to sign the check.

6/28/11 Ramon called me to say his bank wouldn't cash the check without a signature. We agreed he would bring the check by on 6/29/11 after 5pm so I could sign it.  He must not need the money- here it is 7/5/11 and I've still not seen or heard from him.  Over all, I think I got my money's worth for the amount of work that was done.  Now I just have to fix the sheet rock.

7/6/2011 I received a call from the owner asking when it would be possible to come by and have my sign the check.  He arrived on time, I signed the check and all is well now.  I am satisfied with the work for the amount of money I paid and would probably call them again.

I appreciated the thought that J&K put into the entire job. I don't know if the price was high ($1,200 for the Water heater) was high. I needed the washer repiped - old pipes went around the house instead of under the house - and because the heater was old, it needed be replaced once it was moved around. The team came in, did the repairs they said they would, and left everything clean. Most of all, they had provided a sense of trust and doing the job completely. Having dealt with others before, trust was the most important element I needed.
