  • When I took Lincoln to his first class with Tara I could barely walk him myself. I could not figure out what I was doing wrong or how to fix it. Tara gave me the tools and the skills to teach Lincoln. I have attended several other dog training classes but the approach wasn’t working for me. Tara has several approaches and doesn’t stop there! She is an unparalleled expert in her field with the experience to individualize your training in a group class. She is attentive during class, asking and answering questions and allows glowing conversations! You can call her or email her between classes and she gets back to very promptly! We behave a busy schedule working 40+ hrs a week, taking classes, taking care of my family etc... it is a one hour a week class class commitment with his training happening the rest of the time in small increments. Lincoln graduated his Intermediate class yesterday with his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) award! Afterward I took him to the farmers market, the pet store, and Home Depot! He couldn’t go with me anywhere before and now because if the expertise of Tara I have a companion and a buddy! I wholeheartedly recommend All Ways Dog Training and Tara! Contact her - she can help :)

  • I would use them again. I picked them because they were local. The communication was good from start to finish. I thought that their prices were a little more than I had to pay in the past. It is a new vet so I may not be up to date on my prices these days.

  • A family member recommended this clinic to me when I had a seriously ill puppy.  They were reasonable in price and very caring people.  I even purchased a puppy to replace the one I lost from them.

  • We've only been there once. I assume on the price, they charge normally. Vets charge more than hospitals do. I don't know them that well, so right now I can't give them much better than a B for quality. We were there in time for the appointment, but we had to wait about half an hour. We got there on time for the appointment, they responded. Filled out the paper work, they had a very professional attitude. They led you into the room and gave her, her shots, took a few blood samples and all that. We have to take her back for another blood sample, because her thyroid is a little low, they had to give her medicine for that. All in all, very professional I would say.

  • Patti came to our house and after four visits we are well on our way to acheiving the goals we set at the first meeting. We have the language and skills to communicate with our dog. Patti is amazing. We would recommend her to anyone for any dog behavior issue. Strangers now comment about our "well behaved dog".

  • Deanna took great care of my cat Olive while I was on vacation for 15 days.  She emailed me updates and pictures each day I was gone.  It made my vacation worry free as far as how things were going at home.  I asked her to visit twice a day for an hour because I was worried about my kitty getting bored and causing problems.  Deanna brought toys and spent time playing with my kitty on each visit. My kitty was completely at ease when I returned as if I had never left.  This was the second time I have used Deanna to watch my kitty and I hope to use her in the future.  Deanna has a great rapport with my cat and I highly recommend her for house and pet watching.  Deanna truly  cares about animals!

  • They really take care of your animals.  They go above and beyond to help you.  They also help set up payment plans for larger cost surgeries. They follow up with you after your pet has gone home to see how you are doing.

  • I had the absolute worst experience at Paws n' Claws, with Dr Kevin Schramm.  Apart from the repugnant character flaws exhibited by Dr. Schramm, such as sanctimoniousness, condescension, antagonism and being extremely argumentative, the worst traits he had, in specific regards to his ability to act as even a decent vet, was an extreme unwillingness to listen to what I was saying in regards to my cat.  He proceeded to act as though he knew all there was to know about my cat, and was completely unwilling to consider what I was saying.
Specifically: having moved out of Wellington, into Ft. Collins, I chose this vet after using Wellington Vet Clinic.  My cat had been treated for extreme anxiety.  He also has a heart condition:  Ventricular Hypertrophy.  Wellington Vet had initially recommended a drug-free treatment, which I used until it no longer worked.  Wellingto  n Vet had told me to come back if that treatment did not work, so I was under the impression obtaining treatment for my cat's anxiety would be a fairly straightforward affair.  (He needs his stress levels managed so as not to exacerbate his heart condition)
Within the first 2 minutes of meeting Dr. Schramm, I told him my cat had Ventricular Hypertrophy.  From the onset, he showed an obvious bias against treating this issue with medication, refused to accept what I was explaining regarding my cat's stress (his stress became much worse following the  birth of my daughter), was extremely argumentative, insisted on finally looking at his records, only to refuse treatment due to my cat having a heart condition.   He also attributed all of my cat's symptoms to his heart condition.   My cat stops eating when he is stressed, as he did just recently after I went out of town for 10 days.  dr schramm dismissed this, and didn't think that my cat losing 2 lbs.  was significant!
He recommended behavior modification of my cat as a treatment for my cat's anxiety towards my daughter, despite my repeatedly telling him that just her shrieks disturbs him.   He also attributed my cat's anxiety to his heart condition, despite the specifics of the obvious cause of his anxiety (my daughter, among others) and that he has always been an extremely nervous cat
I didn't understand how a vet could possibly act this way when reliant on good customer relations, but it appears as though he is an/the owner of this business.

  • Fergie had to stay at the kennel because she was in heat. She came home smelling great and the staff all loved her! The kennel is immaculately clean with friendly, professional staff. I would bring her back anytime!

  • Care was good, cost is always more than expected.  We have insurance thru Banfield.  In this situation with this unplanned visit, we saved about $50 (out of a $130 bill) by having insurance.
