    Sunrise Landscaping & Tree Removal
I cant say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Heath and his crew. They took my completely awful backyard and turned it into an amazing place that I never want to leave. Heath followed through with everything we talked about and more. He has an eye for landscape design and the skill to hire people who know how to install both hardscape and plant material. He has all the equipment needed to do most anything and keeps it well-maintained. Plus hes got some great stories to share. I would hire him again in an instant. Services included irrigation system, paver patio and path, land contouring with a bulldozer, dry stream bed, sod lawn, planting and barking flower beds.

    Sunrise Landscaping & Tree Removal
Very well. Some babying was required to turn brown spots on turf installed on day 2 to green and one edge was not underlined with new top soil for a patch about 5 feet long and 4" or less wide but otherwise finished result, now 6 weeks old looks great ... almost perfect. Crew was efficient, friendly, and put unused portion of sod I paid for in my backyard where I was able to get some use of it.

    Sunrise Landscaping & Tree Removal
I had Sunrise perform major landscaping work in June and July of 2017. Price quoted was good. The entire project was completed as requested. The workers did the job in a very professional manner and worked hard to make sure I was satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Sunrise.

The project was completed in a professional and timely manner. There was an initial meeting to review the project plan. Cost estimates were detailed and included a few different options. The project started and ended on time. The work crew was punctual, thorough and professional, from the work performed to the clean-up at the end. They even took extra precautions against rain when the walkway was poured. We are very happy with the results and look forward to enjoying our new backyard.

Josh and his employee did an excellent job.  They worked tirelessly all day and left the work site spotless.  There were some initial punctuality issues in that Josh missed our first appointment because he was ill; but he was very apologetic and responsive when I contacted him.  He also connected me with a landscape design artist to design landscaping for the area that Josh created with the removal of the hedgerow.

All Things Dirt Excavating & Landscaping
Overall, it went pretty well.  The guys doing the work were receptive to my requests regarding the way the flagstone patio was fit together.   I was happy with the outcome, though I had to finish up some things on my own.  There were no instruction provided regarding how to take care of the seeded (grass) area, the polymeric filler ("Gator Dust") around the flagstone, or cleaning and sealing the flagstone.  I would recommend giving customers those kinds of instructions.  I ended up researching various things on my own.  Some of the polymeric filler used around the flagstone was not settled and I ended up with a hole where I had placed a stool leg.  I left a message for Tyler, the owner, asking about how to address that - I did not get a reply.  I ended up buying a bag of the "Gator Dust" and will use it to fill holes and where the original filling settled/settles.  I also left a message about the grass, as after the grass started growing, it seemed a bit sparse (should I add more seed?).  I have not heard back.
For whatever reason, poor communication seems to be an epidemic among contractors. All Things Dirt isn't the worst, but there is room for improvement, particularly in regard to the follow-up.

    Sunrise Landscaping & Tree Removal
The top soil that they used was full of rocks. The seed never did take. The lawn looks like crap. I had to call them back to finish the pruning as it was not done the way we had agreed on in the beginning. It took 3 phone calls and a visit to the office to finally get someone to show up to finish the pruning.

We worked with Heath for several weeks developing a plan that would fit our small yard and small budget.  He was always willing to redo ideas and came over several times as we fine-tuned the finished yard.  We had seen his work in some of the neighboring yards and felt comfortable that he would deliver what was discussed.  His pricing may not be the lowest but his product is definitely high quality and his customer service is the best.

    GREAT WESTERN SUPPLY
Luckily I paid with a card which allowed me to dispute it. It took several phone calls to even learn of their funky policy. I'm sure if you wanted dirt or something simple, they are fine to work with, but never pay for anything in advance. I will say that the product deliveries went just fine in terms of being on time (A for Punctuality) , but the way they dealt with their error and refund has resulted in my decision to never do business with again.

    Jame's Landscape and Gardening
James was very professional.  He showed up when he said he would and even brought extra work people with him.  He had to rip out overgrown foliage and even a maple tree that was planted about 2 feet from our new home.  Then he replanted native plants and mulched.  Several of our neighbors stopped by to tell us how wonderful things were looking and how professionally he did everything.  They cleaned up after themselves and we didn't have to worry about anything.  Then he and his crew did our backyard.  All the overgrown plants and plants that weren't indigenous to the NW were taken out and he put river rock in the beds in the back yard.  It looks amazing and now I don't have to worry about our 2 big dogs using the perimeter as a horse track and bringing the dirt in the house!
