  • They're great. They're the only doctors who took the insurance that I have. The staff is really friendly and responsive. It was not crowded. The doctor was curious. He asks a lot of questions and he's very observant. I had a good communication with them without a lot of paper works. I would use this provider in the future.

  • It has been fine. The doctor I was with retired and the one I have now, I haven’t seen her. They kind of assign you to whoever is available. I really like Group health. I have them form work which is largely why I am with them but I have had others and I really like Group Health, I like the way they do business. They make it simple. They do good job. It has always been a good experience going there and taking care of things. I can get in quickly. The office is lovely. The staff is great and the doctor has always been good. They sometimes do funny things with their billing but they are fine.

  • We have been with and like Group Health. It is a team effort and they are kind of everything. What stands out the most is the ease of use. They have been fine and Group Health is nice. We kind of have everything in one spot. The office environment is very nice. We have different accounts for me, my wife and daughter and one time they confused billing for my account and my daughter's.

  • This is a terrificly responsive physician. I think the primary care doctors are responsive, they are willing to make referrals that are appropriate for you, as a medicare enrollee the program they have called Silver sneakers that help people access exercise facilities is great and also free. Their preventive health programs are wonderful as well.

  • She's got really good bedside manner. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. The front desk people are nice and they're pretty good about getting you in for appointments. I think I waited maybe 20 minutes. I think it's fair. I don't ever feel like I've waited outside the norm or anything. Her nurses are very good. The office staff is nice. They have a lab right in their office so if you have any lab work that needs to be done, it's right there so it's handy. She also does the whole email communication thing. I never had trouble getting in. Her bedside manner is excellent. Her communication is excellent. I haven't had a problem with the billing.

  • We have been with the Tumwater Family Practice for many years. They have several health professionals and doctors. We've been really pleased with them. Sometimes it is hard to make "regular" doctors understand that I prefer more natural treatments, if possible. Some of the doctors at this clinic at least are open to this approach and don't push all kinds of medications. This clinic is very efficient in all points of operation: very modern equipment, including their own x-ray facility. They also have a Lab within the building. Their appointment schedule are very efficient - most of the time I only wait 5 - 10 minutes. Their staff is very friendly and professional and their billing operation is outstanding. I am only giving the "B" for Communication and Effectiveness of treatments due to my own very different treatment believes as mentioned above.

  • Group Health CAN be great IF you stick with them and are very aggressive with how you get treatment. Previous experience with total knee replacement has resulted in permanent disability due to improper PT follow up which was almost non-existent and incomparable to anyone else we have talked to having them done using other insurance.
    But the main issue and the F rating for billing is because Group Health doctor did the original surgery, then we had to change insurance prior to having the leak repaired. We had called our insurance (Cigna) who approved going back to the same surgeon (this is documented), even though he is a Group Health surgeon (he operated out of independent hospital in Seattle). The Group Health office in seattle continually was uncooperative - no following through on lab tests, not responding to our local doctors (family practice) phone calls or emails, and just plain ignoring us. When we tried to follow up with them they got downright rude. Then came the big issue after the surgery - they refuse to cooperate with our insurance company.
    We are still fighting Group Health over bills. They refused to change their billing method to Cigna resulting in refusal to pay any charges and leaving us with the 25,000 bill. Cigna said Group Health would not cooperate in their billing practices. Bills started getting paid but the current state is Group Health is threatening to send us to collections even though Cigna said we owe nothing! In the meantime we have to pay monthly payments for a bill we do not owe to keep bill collectors off our back. The sum of all the bills (nearly 20 different ones) is unknown. According to Cigna, Group Health was overpaid. According to Group Health, we still owe something like $4,000 (they've told us 2 different figures so not sure which balance is the real one). We have contacted an insurance mediator in hopes they can help. The next step is may involve going to the media and then contacting a lawyer.
    Lesson is...even if your insurance approves a doctor you previously used in the Group Health network, don't do it. They will NOT cooperate and will leave you with the bills. I have a lifetime of experience with Group Health, having been born in one of their hospitals. There are many positives to being in their system, but after you leave any attempts to use follow up care for previous issue is obviously VERY problematic in terms of who will pay for it. They just aren't setup to handle billing to other insurance and are extremely rude when you attempt to do it even when they approved of it beforehand.

  • I really like them. They have a really good service. They have a really good lab system the way you can get lab work done. I have had several different emergencies over the years and they have responded perfectly. My doctor spends a lot of time and knows a lot. He really cares about his patients. I have had several different doctors in this group over the years and they have all been really good. It is real easy to make an appointment. My doctor is really popular so sometimes you have to wait, but waiting is no big deal to me.

  • Dr. Nooney is a good and caring doctor but he couldn't seem to get trained staff and he was never available when you really needed him. My daughter also finally stopped going to him for the same reasons. Maybe it is different now and he can have a good practice.

  • Dr. Ash has been my primary doctor for a number of years. She has always gone above and beyond what any other doctor has for both myself and my family. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, consults with other doctors when needed, is considerate of your finances, I could go on and on. To be concise, I feel better than I have in decades thanks to her care. She has been especially helpful with my thyroid care. I highly recommend Dr. Jennifer Ash, she's the best.
