Their crew showed up on-time, and worked hard and professionally throughout the job, which took just two days. Clean-up was meticulous, and a follow-up question by me about costs was handled in the best and most professional manner possible. We've had nothing but flattering comments from friends and neighbors on our new roof, and it's been holding up just fine in these recent days of heavy rain. AGreen Spaces Landscaping LLCThe work was completed just as the COVID lockdown was kicking in, and we couldn't have been happier. We spent all summer sitting outside enjoying the patio, watching flowers bloom, growing things in the new raised bed, and BBQing on the deck. There were a few items that needed adjustment (it was a big project so expected), and they were great about getting back out to address them. The team was great, and when safety protocols needed to be introduced for a short time at the end that was done well. Would definitely use them again! Note price is only N/A because we don't have a good comparison - we liked the proposal and were happy with the results.- Krista C.

Though there were a few missed emails, we ended up connecting and his team came out and got the work done. They did the roof expediently and well. The clean up was also done expediently. ALarry Haight's Residential Roofing CoWe just had our old cedar roof replaced with the 3 layer Presidential CertainTeed brand composition roofing. The whole process of tearing off the old roof and installing the new roofing, venting, and adding the new skylights took about 3.5 working days. We had two additional new skylights installed including the deep skylight wells from ceiling to roof level. The framing & drywall for same was required. This was the first time in my life that I've ever seen drywall taping, plus 3 coats of drywall mud, and a heavy knockdown texture applied totally dust free. To me, that was like magic. I was worried about the knockdown texture coming out right, but it could not have been done more perfectly. Therefore, I would highly recommend Larry Haight Res. Roofing.- John B.

ATall Pines ConstructionWe hired Tall Pines for a large renovation of our 1920s (original) /1970s (addition) Craftsman-style home. For our project, we needed a ton of different work done - electrical rework, new plumbing, foundation cutting, insulation, gas lines, flooring, windows, structural work, and more, and we didn't have an entirely clear picture of what we needed done before getting started. And like most old houses, we found some surprises along the way that needed some creative solutions. Tim and his crews did a great job on every aspect of the work here. We were brought in for key decisions, and the work was performed exactly to our specifications at a spectacular level of quality. The tile work in particular is literally better than I thought possible! When we encountered unexpected problems, Tall Pines leads always had some good solutions in mind, and walked us through our options to figure out the best way to proceed. They were also quick and honest to identify and correct any errors made. I should also mention that the work overlapped COVID-19, which created some staffing challenges as well as delays due to the stay-at-home orders. This was navigated to the best of anyone's ability and I appreciated their handling of this difficult situation. Overall, I would highly recommend as a contractor, especially if you're looking for top-notch quality of work. The crews are highly skilled and I think their pricing fairly reflects the level of detail and expertise they bring to the job.- Ryan C.

AIn February, we had the siding replaced on our house. When they got to the wall outside the master bathroom shower, they found catastrophic rot in the framing. The previous owners had remodeled the bathroom almost 10 years ago and apparently the contractor made some mistakes that caused the shower pan to leak slowly into the framing and insulation. Multiple contractors told us that the only solution was to completely destroy and rebuild the shower from scratch. We hired C and S based on favorable reviews and their ability to handle all aspects of the work, including the structural repairs. The work began on the 18th of March and finished the 3d of April. About week of delay were attributable to lead time to order a custom Corian shower pan. The granite tiles used in the original shower were no longer available and we found 79 of them on closeout so we changed the design to use lighter colored tiles above and below a band of the original tiles. I would not wish this on anyone but our contractor, C and S construction was a gem, a total pro. Casey, the general contractor was on the job every day that work was being done, except during the tile work. The craftsman he hired for that work was meticulous and produced a beautiful result.

AI have hired Thomas for three different projects and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. After getting two sets of three bids from other contractors over a couple-year span and not feeling confident with any of them, I was impressed with the time, energy and focus he put into the bid. He listens well and communicates clearly. As issues always come up with an older house, I was grateful he had the experience and knowledge to solve unexpected problems while considering my budget. He works as hard as his crew and was willing to arrive early several times to met with me before I left for work at 7 a.m. When delays popped up due to permits, shipments, etc., he stayed in touch and kept me up to date. When a tarp was placed over a part of my roof during the project, he drove by and checked frequently to ensure it stayed in place during wind and rain storms. Thomas had no problem allowing me to paint in order to save some money, sought input from me when decisions needed to be made and was available at any time for questions or concerns. I am very happy with my family room, which is more functional than before and definitely a more appealing space to hang out in. My new garage was integrated to look like it was always meant to be a part of the house and the front porch fits in seamlessly and gets used almost daily this time of year. I highly recommend Cascade Valley Construction.

ATony and his crew did a fantastic job. They were very communicative throughout the project about what would happen when and stuck 100% to their schedule. The crew worked hard and respectfully left the job site tidy each day. In the end I have a beautiful new driveway. One last thing...our neighbor mentioned to me that she appreciated that the crew rinsed off her car that was parked on the street after it got dust on it when the gravel was spread around. She hadn't even noticed because they took care of it before she had a chance to see it.

AA roof is one of the more stressful home improvement experiences you can have. It protects your investment, there are many service providers to choose from and it is expensive. Making the right choice without over-spending, and not getting sub-standard results, is a little scary. I needed to move fast, but I knew I had to get at least three estimates. The first to quote was a company that is on the TV/radio. They quoted the highest price, overlooked the need for sheeting on half my roof (missed the shiplap) and spent more time talking about the evils of smaller companies than selling their own company....pass. The second company was a highly rated company, sold themselves well, but also missed the shiplap and the estimate was almost the same as the first, though with more upgrades; I kept them in mind. The third estimate was Forever Roofing, and you know by now who I went with. Sam contacted me shortly after I reached out to them and he was out to estimate my roof within 48hrs. He quickly called out the same issues the other companies did, but also caught the need for new sheeting (about 10 roof squares). Thanks to this I knew he was going to give me a more accurate estimate. They came in about 15% lower, so we talked about the estimate differences and it comes down to overhead. For example, they don’t have PCs in the company cars, aren’t using satellite software to create a fancy quote and aren’t paying for TV/radio spots; that savings is passed on to the customer. I agreed to go with them and was put on the schedule. Two weeks later it was time to get started! His husband and wife crew knocked out 33.5 roofing squares in about 3.5 days (house and a big detached garage). They timed it perfectly between weather systems and Sam was quite communicative about when they’d be there and what they’d be working on so I didn’t have to worry about scheduling. The roofing duo was very polite and efficient. Their work lined up with what we agreed upon in the contract and what I had read during my roofing research. The lower price wasn’t resulting in a lower quality product, so I knew I had made the right choice. Bonus; what I was quoted is exactly what I paid, as there were no surprises or missed details. All said and done, it was a pleasure working with Forever Roofing/Sam and I’ll be recommending them to anyone looking for a roofer. I feel great about my roof for the first time in years and that’s thanks to this company.
