They performed excellent work and I feel they went above and beyond. When they were done, the basement was thoroughly clean and they removed rubble and other items for me as I am out of town. My tenants noted zero water entering the basement over the winter. Yes!

The scheduler was very pleasant and easy to deal with.  Jake showed up on time and was a pleasure to work with.  He answered all of my questions and was completely up front and honest.  Turns out I don't have any cracks that are serious or need attention.  Jake was thorough and did a visual inspection as well as level analysis and crawl space assessment.  There was no charge for the review since I had no problems.  If I ever do have need of a contractor I will definitely use Matvey because of their professionalism and utmost integrity.

I felt like the work that they did was good. The only problem was that I wish their clean up was better. I feel like the actual work was done in a competent way. When I told them about the clean up, they came out and cleaned up more, so they followed up on that. I didn't have to call them back, because I was there when they were finishing up the job. The best part was that they  were dependable, I could communicate with the person doing the work, and the communication was good. I didn't have any problems with it later on. They were responsive.

Both visits on time and very well done.  Very professional salesman and the repair crew.  They cleaned up after the job and left the job site as they found it.  Their trucked leaked oil and they even put cardboard down under it to catch the oil.  That was above and beyond good customer service.

Our house sits on clay that gets saturated and swampy in Winter.  We had PermaDry come out to deal with the standing water in the crawl space, and also to install a drain to prevent water running down the driveway into the garage.  They showed up with a crew of guys and had everything done and cleaned up in a day or so.  Specifically, they:
    - Trenched around the inside perimeter of the foundation, laid drain pipes, covered with gravel.
    - Installed a tank to catch the collected water, and a pump to run it out to the existing downspout drain.
    - Installed a new vapor barrier.
    - Cut the asphalt back from the front of the garage and installed a drain running to the downspout drain.
The garage is now dry in Winter.  The clay is still a swamp in Winter, but the crawlspace no longer has standing water.  I think we got a good value for the $9000 we spent.

    ADVANCED PLUMBING TECHNOLOGIES
Extremely poor. First the original pump was clearly installed incorrectly. Second the vendor charged me for two plumbers sent to work on the issue, each at $155 per hour. After the work was completed they explained what was done and the pump would now work. When it failed  to work the next week, I went into the crawl space to inspect the work. Frist the pump was placed in a small flower pot and the pump's float value was not able to move. I fixed the issue but clearly the "experts" sent where not experienced. I called for a return of at least part of the fee, was promised a response but none came.
Second the vendor had suggested a long term solution that turns out was not addressing the actual problem. The vendor suggested a solution that involved expensive and unnecessary work. When I had another vendor analyze the actual problem, the final solution was 1/2 of the Advanced Plumbing suggested solution ($2000 instead of $4000 to $5000 + )
So, incorrect analysis, billed at an excessive rate and poor workmanship. I would not recommend this vendor.

Response to initial call was immediate.  Job bidder was timely and polite and never overbearing or pushy.  His estimate was spot on.
Both owner and crew were professional and attentive to all aspects of  this job.  Tore out an inordinate amount of  very old, dirty insulation (plus various creatures), cleaned, fogged, re-insulated and installed sealed vapor barrier.  Replaced vent screening as needed.  Additionally built a tight fitting entry door (never had one of  these) and installed shingles on existing crawl space entry lid. Left area spotless.  Feeling snug and breathing better.  Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing crawl space restoration.

This was a three day job.  The owner Doug and his large crew showed up on time and worked from early in the morning until five or six in the evening each day.  A nice touch was Doug personally introduced me to all of his crew members on the first day, and they were all courteous and respectful while here on the job.  This was a dirty, filthy project.  The crew did a great job of cleaning up after themselves each day.  My garage is the access to the crawlspace, and by the time the crew left the garage was actually cleaner than how they found it.  Doug met with me at the conclusion of the job and went over in detail exactly what was done, gave me pictures detailing all the work, and encouraged me to call in the future if there were any problems at all.Over the years I've had my share of challenging dealings with contractors.  American Crawlspace has restored my faith in dealing with contractors as they were qualified (licensed and bonded), honest, and performed excellent work consistent with the bid given. Without hesitation I would highly recommend them.

    Two Savages
The owner and his crews were wonderful to work with. They arrived on time, spent many hours in a three-foot crawl space making sure everything was just right, and left the area clean. The men in the crew were easy to work with and made sure everything was done right. The owner visited the site on more than one occasion and made sure everything was working right and that all details were attended to. Not only were we very pleased with the work, the crew, and the owner, but they were the lowest bid we received. We will definitely use them again should we ever need more work completed.
