  • Grade "F" Bought a Daikin ductless system. it's been a problem since day 1. I Do NOT Recommend. Initial install went ok. Then I looked at the cooling vanes in the head. they were bent all over the place. tech says, "that's normal. won't effect operation." True or not, I did not pay 12 grand for a product that came from the dent and scratch sale bin. A month later, I got them to bring a new replacement. It was almost as bad as the first one. They didn't even bother opening the box at the shop to see if it was damages as well. The 2nd tech told me I had unrealistic expectations. They all came from the factory like that. If so, I'd be looking for a new provider. Third trip out, got a new head that had on very minor crop of bent fins...but certainly not pristine. Month later, system won't work more than 5 min. Have had 1 service call. Tech "reset the system". Needed it 2 weeks later and got the same. Had to wait over a week to get a 2nd service call. That's come later this week. Oh by the way. There was supposed to be a PSE rebate applied. When I got the bill, that was not accounted for. I call and the person said she would send me a new & revised bill. 30 days later I get a past due notice and the rebate was still not applied. That took another call and wait period.

    furnace and electronic air cleaner and I plan to have them on a yearly basis.

  • They came to our home to discuss the job and show us available units,
    scheduled a time for installation, showed up right at the time requested
    and completed the installation in 1/2 a day. They returned after the
    inspection, completed the startup and explained how to use it. We could
    not be happier with the job done and the price was very competitive. They were very professional and careful to not damage carpets, etc. They installation looks very nice.

  • Debi, an owner with her husband, was very knowledgable and helped me to understand how technology has changed in the wood-burning world (I grew up with open fireplaces). I had to be out of town when the insert installation was scheduled and arranged to have my door opened by my neighbors. When I returned in the evening I found what I consider to be a magical thing where my open fireplace used to be. No mess, no sign that anyone had ever been there, other than the insert itself. If you prefer quality, professionalism and courtesy, this business is for you!

    I stayed up most of the evening admiring the warmest addition to my home. It works great and, combined with an imminent full-house window replacement, I expect I will be having to crack windows to keep myself reasonably cool. Thanks, Debi!

  • When they gave us an estimate for our furnace, they found we had rodent damage to our vents. They came out and gave us a quote with three options as far as what we might need for our house. They also recommended we go with the smaller one since the size of our house didn't require the larger and more expensive model. They called me to schedule the six month cleaning for our furnace and air conditioner, so I didn't even have to remember to call them. I was really impressed with their follow up. The first cleaning of the filters is free, and I was blown away that they called me to schedule everything. They put shoe covers on to make sure no dirt was tracked in my home. They got all of their own permits that were required for each job. We were not charged extra for that, or for the electrical work that was done by their contractor. We didn't have to worry about any of that since it was all included in the price of the furnace. They were the most thorough, and also the lowest estimate I received. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely use them again.

  • They did spend a lot of time explaining how the system would work. They came back a second time and worked out how we would place the heat pump itself. We have had some questions about how it operates and it does seem cold today. It seems like they aren't heating us up rite away. It took some time for someone to call us back to help with the thermostat. I had to keep calling them and they did not call me. We were getting one brand and they came out with a different brand. He said they were both the same, but it bothered me that they did not have the same brand. I'm not sure if I will use them again. I would like to spend a winter with this heater and see. We had chose Sundance out of three companies but I am not 100% on them because of some of these things.

  • Overall I'm satisfied with the work performed, the ducting and two new heat registers were done in one day and professionally. The work on the furnace has been frustrating, they have came to my home three times and I don't think the transformer really needed to be changed but the tech I belive felt like he needed to do something because the furnace kept kicking off and they had to return several times. It then failed on a holiday weekend and they didn't have any techs to send to my home but Greg who was at the office gave me instructions on how to change the filter and oil nozzle so I could get the furnace going on that cold weekend. I was a jet mechanic so I felt I had the knowledge to get it fixed and did. I now do my own maintenance on this furnace but they also provide me info when I ask and I would use them if I thought it was to complicated for me to do.

  • Had Marshall's Mechanical come out to test and repair old heat pump. The old unit was tripping the circuit breaker, after a short period of troubleshooting, they were able to show me that the compressor unit was shorted to the case of the compressor (I am a retired Electrician, I tested it myself.) I decided that I would replace the entire unit. Instead of just a repair. Mr Marshal came out and installed the unit himself. I was quoted a 2 day install, and the unit was up and running in 2 days. They used my existing electrostatic air filter, and replaced every thing else. Mr Marshall, found me $375.00 in rebates to help with the price. All of the old furnace was removed. They cleaned as they went no mess. They provided me with the forms for the income tax rebate.

  • We rented our family home and needed to have the furnace inspected. I called Day & Nite. They were familiar with our furnace brand and were willing to arrange an appointment with the new tenants. They gave me an estimate over the phone, and I was able to pay over the phone. They followed up with phone calls to let me know the work was scheduled and completed, and they mailed me a detailed report of their findings. Great experience!!

  • During the first snow storm / freeze of the winter, my furnace suddenly stopped working. It was a Friday and I called the company because they offered 24 / 7 emergency service. Unfortunately, the repairman was unable to come on Friday due to a number of other "no heat" service calls, but he was there bright and early on Saturday morning. He quickly assessed the situation (a frozen drain pipe) and was able to make a temporary fix in order to restore heat so I could leave town for the Christmas holiday without fear of my pipes bursting! After I returned to town I called the company and they came right out (same repairman) and completed the job. The entire repair, including two service calls (one an emergency call) costs less than $100! The repairman was knowledgable, courteous, and prompt. I will be using this company in the future and highly recommend their service!
