Electrician reviews in Oak Harbor

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • We informed a kitchen-installer of our desire to have a microwave oven installed over the kitchen's electric stove.  The installer replied with the strong recommendation to have an additional electrical power line installed that would support the current requirements of both an existing electric light, and the microwave oven.  We concurred with his recommendation.  The installer then contacted Brian Bodin, of Brian's Electric, to perform the line installation.  The installation included the addition of an additional circuit breaker in the house's main circuit breaker panel. This installation was done with impressive professionalism (writer is a degreed electrical engineer). The installation required routing the line from the house's main circuit breaker panel, up though an exterior wall into the attic, and then down into an interior wall behind the kitchen. Subsequently, we deduced the requirement to have the house's 40-year-old circuit breaker panels inspected, and, if deemed necessary, removed and replaced. We contacted Mr. Bodin, who responded in a timely manner commensurate with his schedule. One of the two house circuit breaker panels was dedicated to supporting/protecting the house's electric furnace.  Mr. Boden concluded that this specific circuit breaker panel, though aged, did not require removal and replacement.  However, the house's main circuit breaker panel, of the same vintage, did, in his judgment, require removal and replacement. This task required work both outside the house where the electrical line approached the house from an underground main power line, and inside at the main panel. The work required about four hours to complete.

  • I have waited to write the review in case there were any problems later. NO problems 8 months after installation and we have produced enough power to not buy electricity since array was installed. OUTSTANDING customer service and prompt replies to all communications. Not the speediest or most exacting installation crew around, but they did a good job overall. Would definitely recommend and use their services again!

  • The person who answered the phone and made the appointment for an estimate was friendly and professional.  The electrician even came on President's day which is a holiday.  He was on time and professional.  When he returned the following day with the part to fix the fan he was on time,  quick, and accurate.

  • I just like him because he?s a great guy. He?s responsive, helpful, and very thorough. He?s trustworthy and I don?t mind having him in my house. He?s one of those guys that doesn?t make you feel stupid; he?s easygoing and reasonable.
