  • Absolutely stellar service. We purchased a 1969 Buick Wildcat that looked pristine on the outside but we were not confident of its roadworthiness. We took the vehicle to Pioneer Automotive Services and gave them carte blanche to find anything and everything under the hood requiring repair/replacement. The mechanics, having the freedom to "play" with the car, went over it with acute attention to detail, tweaked little things and fixed quite a number of safety items. This took a few weeks as standard stock parts were difficult to find. During this time the owner kept in touch with us explaining in detail what was discovered, what the plan of action was, what was replaced and how it was accomplished. It is refreshing to find a mechanic as excited about our vehicle as we are and, to our absolute delight, they are honest to a fault. They make a point you know what you are getting and not once did they try to pad their bill with unnecessary repairs or modifications. I noticed they had several classic and antique cars mixed in with more current models so I assume their knowledge base is quite extensive. If you have a valuable car, they have secure storage to keep it from any vandalism or theft. I have spoken to other car owners who have taken their vehicles to Pioneer Automotive Services and each one has had glowing reports of their experiences and swear they will use no other company for any work they need done. I HIGHLY recommend this business. They do not pull punches about what needs doing, what it will cost and whether or not they can do it. Our Wildcat went from unsafe to being capable of driving cross country with confidence if we choose to do so.

  • We had a 1969 Buick Wildcat - a monster of a car - to ship from the Detroit area to Whidbey Island about two hours north of Seattle, WA. She is pristine and still has the original paint job and chrome so we needed her transport to be enclosed. OK Auto Carrier had a driver in the area and was able to pick her up the same day we requested a carrier. "Max" was the driver and he took VERY good care of her. He inspected her closely going into the carrier and again coming out. He drove her in and out with close attention to her movements. He wrapped our behemoth up in plastic as extra insurance she would remain undamaged. He was professional, delivered her ahead of when we expected him to arrive, he was helpful and a delight to work with. The cost of doing business with Ok Auto Carrier was more than reasonable. I highly recommend this company if you want quality and trustworthy service.

  • It went awful... first I get that during this economy you have to be competitive but maybe you shouldnt strike deals in font of coustomwea who have not been told a price yet or done any wheeling and dealing.
    Second when you have local people supporting local businesses and tell you they are bring you more business wouldnt you be a little bit more respectful and go out your way for that coustomer. But not this business. Thirs they dont clean up behind themselves in the shop or your car so you get in and there is all thsis dust and junk in your car. The shop has glass and trash on thr floor and just very not business like. Fourth my windshield was installed incorrectly and there was wind coming in. I called and the guy was like we are closed. I said ok and then asked if they could come to my job and fix the windshield and he stated we don't do mobile repairs. So I said ok upset now I would havr to take time off of work because they are only open 8-5pm. The guy then said someone would call me in the morning... the next day I waited until 10 am no call so I called and asked again if someone would come out because taking time off wasnt something I could do. Another guy again said no and that I could come in. Fifth I came in first thing Friday morning at 806 the guy that was suppose to fix my car showed up late. I was waiting outside amd he kind was like whats wrong. I explained to the thrid person whats going on and he was like oh. So he took it for a spin. When he came back he was like how fast are you going when you hear the noise. I explained its all speeds. He then had to take a second guy with him and he faild to explain to me about whats going on. I assume he didnt hear it and took the other guy. When he got back he didnt tell me anything until I asked what was going on. And he explained that he is just going to fill around the edge. However this was unsuccessful because I still hear the sound and there is a sloppy black line along the sideof my wwindshield. This was just an overall awful experience. I feel like if you specialty is glass you are a pro and get it right more times than not.I have a very common car and it shouldnt be ddifficult. In addition customer service sucked. *** sorry for the spelling errors I am typing this on my phone which also not functionary.

  • The service was good and the quality of work was good. The only thing is that I wish they would have washed my car when they got done. They have a free carwash on site. They are polite and courteous. I dealt with the cashier, service guy and the parts guy and they were all good. It’s a dealership so it’s never a good price but as to be expected I guess.

  • First, while on a recent trip, the 5th wheel got to a really odd angle and the lower front corner of the driver's side cap contacted the bracket that holds my tonneau cover in place at the very back of the bed rail on the truck. No damage to the truck, but a small hole was made in the front cap of the 5th wheel. I first called and emailed photos to JR's and they said it would be no problem to repair it. The fiberglass repair is EXCELLENT!. You would never know that a repair was done by looking at it. JR's worked with my insurance company, provided the estimate, and performed the required work promptly. I am extremely pleased with the results.

    Second, I noticed that when our galley tank got full, it would leak water into the enclosed belly pan of the 5th wheel and I suspected either a loose vent pip or cracked tank. Just to inspect the tank JR had to remove the rear section of the belly pan, remove the spare tire and mounting bracket, remove the rear electric jacks and disconnect the gas line to the water heater. Once the y were able to get to the tank they discovered it was indeed cracked. They contacted and dealt with my extended service contract company and contacted the manufacturer of the 5th wheel to order a new holding tank. Once again, I am very pleased with the repair and that when I got the rig back everything that was taken apart and put back together works as it should.

    For both of the above repairs, I told them I was working within a time constraint because we had another trip planned and they assured me the work would be completed by the date I required the 5th wheel back and it was. It is refreshing to work with an RV repair facility that can actually meet a deadline and fix things right the first time.

  • My husband took the car to this dealer twice over a period of 4 months to have them fix the problem and re-fix it. Each time the window stopped working and broke. Their company called to see how he liked the servce and fix and he told them they didn't fix it and it had broken, rattling badly before the second break. He got no feedback, no call. Finally he took it to Barrier Volvo in Bellevue, a 5 hour round trip. But Barrier fixed it properly. He is planning to ask Sandberg to pay for the Barrier fix and possibly sue them for non performance. Would we take it back to Sandber? Not only no, but H-e-double hockey stick no!

  • They are very good mechanics. They are a little more expensive, but they are less expensive than going to the dealership. They are very friendly and very open. I find their price is reasonable considering the expertise, the reliability and the honesty that we get from them. They are responsive and quick about getting us in. Their turnaround getting it back to us is pretty speedy. I've never had to go back in for shoddy work. We would absolutely continue to use them in the future.
