    Stay Dry Solutions LLC
Stay Dry Solutions was the most professional roofing company that we found. Luigi and Rebecca were very thorough in presenting us with options for our new roof, and they even built a small roof in front of us so we could see the materials that they would be using. Luigi took the time to answer all of my many questions, and he even visited us a second time to make sure we were on the same page with the options we had chosen for our roof. They kept the scheduled start day, and they were done in a day and a half. The crew was very professional, and the area around our home was very clean when they were done. In talking to Luigi, I had the impression that he really cares about the quality of his companys work, and I know if I ever have any issues he will respond quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Stay Dry Solutions.

    Home Town Rebuilders LLC
First met with Mark and then James. Both were very knowledgeable and helpful. They dealt directly with my insurance company and there were no problems at all. James was helpful in helping us figure out what we wanted in the way of shingles, ice dam protection etc. The work crew could not have been more punctual, polite and hard working. They had the entire old shingles removed and new ones installed in 2 days. They cleaned up all trash and debris. Couldn't have been more pleased. Everything was better than expected. We ended up paying only our deductible, and had an upgrade in shingles to boot! This company is highly recommended!!

My experience with Capstone Construction was one of the worst experiences that I have had with any service industry company - ever.

Capstone Construction was hired to construct an approximately 350 sf, $105,000 addition to my home; the addition was required to make my house more accessible for my wife who has several physical disabilities and suffers from the effects of stage 4 cancer and the treatments.

I was conned into what ended up being a very expensive scam; by the time Capstone Construction left the job there was an estimated $150,000 worth of defects in the new construction and damage to my existing home and property. I was lied to by Capstone Construction from the beginning, some of the lies were:

    1. They agreed that the construction would be completed in approximately 2 month. It took nearly 6 months.
    2. They agreed that the job supervisor would be on site every day to verify that the work was being constructed properly and per the construction documents. The job supervisor did not inspect the work; If the job supervisor did show up he only showed once or twice a week for about 15 minutes; the job supervisor was unable to read the construction documents or understand construction very well; if he was confronted with a construction error he would just come up with a line of B.S. and not address the issue.
    3. Capstone Construction only uses top quality employees and licensed subcontractors. 7 out of the 18 subcontractors were not licensed even though Capstone put into writing that all their subcontractors are licensed and bonded; a good portion of the employees and subcontractors could not read English or understand construction documents, most were just basically semiskilled handymen; literally every trade produced defective work a sampling of some of the defects are: the excavator damaged the underground plumbing even after I had all the utilities located; exposed rebar in the foundation; sloppy concrete finish work on both the interior and exterior slabs and walls; improper foundation work that is not constructed per the construction documents; framing that does not align from floor to floor; framing that was critical to be framed plumb and square that was not framed plumb and square at all; the roof was framed at the wrong roof slope; the wrong windows were installed and windows were installed at the wrong height; all of the hardwood, LVT flooring, and underlayment was installed improperly which voids any warrantees; all the door were damaged or installed improperly; improper plumbing installation that diminished any usable water flow to the exterior hose connection; light switches mounted about 12 to low; improper HVAC ducting; improper exterior siding and trim installation; incorrect roof flashing; improper roofing installation that allows the roof to leak substantially when it rains; leaking rain gutters; improper attic ventilation; poor quality interior trim work; unequal rod iron baluster spacing at the interior guardrail; damage to existing tile and carpet flooring throughout; incomplete painting on the interior and exterior; substantial amount of paint on the new vinyl window frames; broke three interior stairs; and damaged two skylights. None of these or any of the many other item were corrected before Capstone and their subcontractors left the job.
    4. It was agreed that Capstone Construction would completely seal off the existing house from the construction area during demolition and construction. Capstone Construction failed to seal of the existing house which resulted in the entire existing house and all of its contents being covered in an extremely thick layer of dust, this happen repeatedly. In addition there was not any winter protection provided to the exposed living spaces during the entire winter.
    5. It was understood by Capstone Construction that Capstone Construction was being hired to be the General Contractor because I did not have any time to devote to being my own contractor due to my heavy work load at my job as an Architect, and because of the time commitment required to assisting my wife. I ended up spending well over 100 hours of my time doing Capstone Constructions job attempting to make sure that the construction moved along and was somewhat conforming to the construction documents.
    6. I was conned into hiring Capstone Construction when they told me that they are fast and that they would give my job extra attention because of my wifes health and her urgency to have the accessibility improvements completed as soon as possible. Capstone Construction was extremely unresponsive to any sense of urgency when it came to meeting the agreed on completion schedule or to my wifes needs; in fact just the opposite, they ended up scamming us.

I held back a portion of the contract funds owed while I attempted several times to work with Capstone Construction on compensating me for all the defects and damages; we agreed to mediate a settlement on compensation in good faith, however Capstone Construction decided to blackmail me into settling into being compensated for pennies on the dollar for the defects and damages, or they would take me and my wife to court if I attempted to settle for more, they were fully aware that we did not have the time or the money to fight them in court.

So in conclusion, if you dont want to be scammed and end up with substantial defective construction like we did, I would recommend that you not even consider Capstone Construction.

    Kodiak Roofing Co Inc
I was happy with the detail with which they described the work that was to be done, including the edging of the roof so that my new siding would be protected.  They gave me information on the cost to have them remove the old roof versus me removing it myself.  They came to give me the estimate the next day.  I decided on a different contractor for the roof.

It is an excellent company and they are very reputable in my area. He helped me fixing the roof and was very honest about it. He said it was couple of small fixes and it wasn't like he had to do an entire roof, so he was very easy to work with. His price was reasonable. He was very personable and informative. It was done in a timely fashion. It was perfect and just how I wanted it done.

    Perrenoud Roofing Inc
After seeking several estimates on replacing the roof on our 50 year old home, we selected Perrenoud Roofing do the job. Nathan gave us a detailed estimate for the roofing project, fascia work, and rain gutters. He was able to work us into his company's schedules in a timely manner, getting the project started within about a week. His crews (roofing crew, metal fascia/raingutter crew) were punctual and hard-working. They actually worked some long hours and completed the work ahead of schedule, in spite of some very hot summer weather conditions. Nathan always made himself available for any questions and followed through to completion on the project exactly as promised on the contract. We were very pleased with his companys products, their work quality, and overall integrity. Based on all the estimates we had, we believe we got a quality product for the most competitive value. We love our new roof. Our house looks great!

We requested an estimate and they came right out.I explained what we wanted and discussed my concerns. They provided me with an estimate right on the spot.It wasn't the least expensive (but wasn't much more), but they included everything I requested. Others left off a section on the car port that I wanted. The next day we called to set it up and they were able to come out the following day. They called in the morning like they said they would and arrived on time. They completed the work in the time they estimated. The gutters look great now we just need a good rain storm to see how well they work.

After the first rained we noticed quite a few places where water was leaking behind the gutters instead of going in to them.
We called and reported the issues. We didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks, but since there was no rain we weren't to concerned about it. Finally we called and they said they would be out the following week. No one called or came by. We called again and they said they would be out the following week. We had a baby so we were in the hospital that week. They did show up, but I have no idea what they did if they did anything. They just left a note on the door that said water is leaking behind the gutters due to damaged roof. Why weren't we told about this when they were installed? Why can we see light betwee the gutter and garage? Also they were nice enough to leave a handfull of screws in my drive way for me to run over.

If you want your gutters to be installed fast give them a call. If you want them done right you may want to check around.
