They are okay. They call me every 3-4 months to see if I need an oil change. I pay $99 for 3 oil changes which is not bad. I know if I take it somewhere else, it cost more. I have not had any leaks or anything like that. If they call me and I tell them I am good for another month or two, they do not call me for a month or two. If they tell me, my appointment is at 10, they get my car in and started working on it by 10-10:15.

Disappointed and stuck: Although the car had been functioning fine pending brake pad and reserve tank replacement steps in high heat and several hundred miles of high speed driving plus local. When they started on those tasks the connection point between radiator and reserve "came off" ... was broken off is a better description... Then got a call about needing to replace the radiator for an additional $500 and four extra days. Fed up and had them tow it home "at a discount rate". Needed plugs... $1000 later returned with more damage and issues than when it arrived. Got a verbal "Sorry about that..." but no offer to correct the problem they created without us taking all the cost for their mistakes. Was hoping for more from an awesome town with our neighbors helping neighbors culture.

I brought my car in for an estimate after another driver backed into the rear passenger side. The rear passenger door was damaged along with the quarter panel and bumper. Bill's was a preferred provider by my insurance company so I went with them. The work they did was great, no complaints, good as new.

The only problem was how long it took to get my car into the shop. There had been a big wind storm right before the insurance approved the work and they got booked up fast. I had to wait more than a month to get the work done. I still had use of the car and they did get me in when they said they would, so it really wasn't Bill's fault.

    Overall very pleased.

We moved into the local neighborhood, and hoped to make this our go-to repair place on the strength of its great reviews. Since then, we've had a few things done, and have always been pleased. Recently, the 'Check Engine' light came on, so we left the car there and dropped off the keys. They determined that no service was needed at the moment, and didn't charge for the diagnostics. Needless to say, a less principled place might have done differently. (Remember Costanza in Seinfeld and the 'Johnson Rod?' Not this shop!) We're delighted, and hope they're around for as long as we are.

I love the way they work.  All vehicles are priced at their best price.  Period.  It's not negotiable so you don't have to deal with car salesman who try to get every extra dollar they can out of you.
They found us credit at a time we had not the best.
They got us into a great vehicle.
The only small issue I had was their finance person wasn't too happy we had our 3 kids there (you're in the wrong business if you don't like people...).  But not too bad.
Overall great service.  I plan on using them again!  It was worth the drive from Fort Collins to avoid local bargaining tactics to find this great company!

I bought an SUV from them.
Great customer service, great car.  I had it looked at by a mechanic who said there were a few things that needed to be done.  Carey motors looked at it again for me and stated that was incorrect... and they paid for gas as I came in from out of town.
I had it looked at by a 2nd and 3rd mechanic who agreed with Carey, they stated it looked great.
Great company, honest, and their intent is to provide you with a great vehicle.  I would buy from them again.

I cannot in good faith recommend Jenken's Family Auto to anyone. The owner has lots of charisma on the first meeting but that quickly goes by the wayside. They had our car for weeks and wouldn't return emails asking for status updates and when I called, was told that the part was shown on UPS as being out for delivery that day on two occasions with nothing else offered. I got my car back over a week later from the last time I heard that. The first part that came in was wrong, our carpets were trashed at the shop, the car died on the road going home (due to poor battery connection after they'd removed and replaced the cable due to the work they were doing), CD's flew off the roof of the car onto the highway heading home and when I went to pick the car up, the owner was standing in his shop having a cigarette and didn't even acknowledge me. Fortunately, his hired help cared more about customers than he did. I have no clue how good reviews came about for this shop unless it was by family members or perhaps a different owner but personally, have no interest in going back there for any type of auto repairs. I've left a lot of money in their 'family' coffers and feel the value and level of service was far below satisfactory levels.

I made an appt to have rear end gears changed. I was given a quote and was told it would be finished early afternoon. I dropped my car off the night before. About 3 pm I called and was told they had not started working on it as they were working on an RV of a traveler. They didn't notify me, I had to call them. I did pick up my car the next afternoon and was charged $100 more than I was told. The owner wasn't there. Then after I put about 1000 miles on my car I made an appt to have my rear gear oil changed as recommended. The day of my appt I should up they were not prepared for me. They didn't have the gear oil and had to have some delivered. They had several days notice that I was coming in. |I will never take any of my vehicles there again or recommend them.

They were very up front what was the problem and how much it would cost to fix it.
I needed it done right away and they had to special order the part and they had it expressed shipped.
I was VERY happy with their service.

They were fast and courteous. They have several types of oil available, and vacuum your car and wash the windows. They did not have my correct air filter in stock, and gave me a free car wash when I had to return for the air filter install. 3eThe technician found a wrench in the engine compartment that I had dropped weeks ago, and returned it to me. Very nice people to work with.
