Elias did a great job. The quality of the work is excellent. Elias made sure that he protected the rest of our house from dirt or debris, and cleaned up after the job. Elias suggested ideas to achieve our goals for the room. Elias and his team were friendly and professional, and showed up when they said they would.

Brad's team and the subcontractors that also worked on our job were top-notch! They were prompt, kept to the schedule, and performed high quality work. Joy, the office manager, was very helpful with keeping us informed on the schedule, helping us choose materials, and generally keeping the job rolling along smoothly. Would definitely hire again!

I was impressed with Joseph's Professionalism and quickness in finishing this project. We needed to get interior painting and deck re stained in just one year of buying our brand new home. I will say that the quality of paint and stain that was recommended and used by Joseph we get compliments on every time someone sees our house. We are very happy with his work and would recommend him and use him in the future.

Gary and his crew were very responsive and professional with a fine eye for quality. Gary always took the time to make sure we were getting what we needed as well as what we wanted. His suggestions to improve on our original ideas resulted in an exceptionally nice bathroom. Great Job Gary!

I plan to use them again. I think it was $2,200. Two people came out. I think it took just about three days. They left the area perfectly clean. I thought they went above and beyond what we asked them to do, which I really appreciate. My husband had gone into the hospital and I thought oh my gosh, I’ve got to put them off. However, they were so sweet, I left the house open for them, believe it or not. There was this full trust. They would call me and tell me when they arrived, while I was at the hospital. Then when they left, they just kind of took care of the house. It was perfect.

    This went pretty poorly.
They had a 6 week lead time, which was no  problem since we scheduled 8 weeks in advance, and they still couldn't meet the deadline.  I was called a week before they were to come out to ask if they could postpone one day (to Tuesday) so that they could have all the parts in and make sure it was a 1 day job.  I agreed though it required moving our schedule around.  Pretty inconvenient but nothing drastic.

On Tuesday they came out and cut support beams under the stairs and were there for all of 2 hours and then left.  The installer said he'd be back the next day to finish the job.  You were there for 2 hours, why not finish the job that day?

On Wednesday, they didn't show up.  I called the Project Manager and he found out that the installer had never stopped by the shop to grab the cabinets.  2 hours later he lets me know they will be out on Thursday to for sure finish the job and oh gosh he's just so sorry.

Thursday comes and the installer shows up again.  We find out that the cabinet was made incorrectly so it does not fit in the hole that was cut out for it.  The installer spends most of the day "adjusting" the cabinet on the lawn and finally gets it installed but doesn't have the drawers or doors with him.  He'll be back tomorrow to get it done.

Friday, day 4 of this ONE DAY PROJECT, and the Installer finally gets the drawers in, the doors on, the handles attached, and the trim on.  He takes his own sweet time about it but it's finally done.
Sadly, the trim was attached poorly so it doesn't line up in the top right corner and the drawers can't be opened at the same time because they run into each other.

It looks pretty enough when closed apart from the messed up trim but this whole thing was a debacle.

The repair man was punctual and did good work, including patching other "dings".  He repaired the drywall in two hours and said he would come back when it was dried.  We had to call for follow up and to use the last two hours.  When he was done with the third hour he said we should to buy a kit at  Home Depot to finish the project.  We didn't call back to complete the 4 hours.  The lady who helped set up the appointments was very nice and responsive.

    A S General Contractor LLC

Owner of A.S. General Contractor., Wilmer, was wonderful -- very personable,  happy, and had a strong work ethic, worked steadily and fast, completing as many tasks as I could find for him, and I believe he would have completed more if I had them.  I was definitely out--of-area for his contracting business, but we worked out scheduling details and he came out in person to do the job. He's offering extra hours free to Agnie's List clients because Angie's Deal $229 Handyman did not specify his location and so was misleading to many of the customers who signed up for the Deal.  He's knowledgeable and was surprisingly inventive when making "chimney hole plugs" in garage wall.  Wore shirt with company logo, wore protectors on his  shoes when inside the house, was meticulous and cleaned up carefully after each task. He was inventive with task at hand,, needed no instructions beyond my initial description of the task.. He came prepared with all tools and materials needed, even though I had most on hand as well. He has obviously worked in contracting for many years, was familiar with all my small handyman tasks. He took the initiative to do things correctly, and all  work completed was beyond my expectations. When I mentioned I was preparing to sell the house he offered to strap down my water heater  as well, within the time we had. Apparently this is a requirement before selling a house.. All in all a great handyman and I will hire him again in a heartbeat.

,Fantastic! I will be using them again for our bathroom remodel and possibly an expansion of the other end of the house; Gordy and Sam did quite a bit of the work themselves which I liked because it meant it was being done right; they found some wiring issues that were not done correctly by the original builder and had them corrected. The cabinets and the granite were installed by the suppliers of those items but Gordy and Sam basically did everything else. They were great with communication and handled my decision to change granite supplier and installer mid-project very well without any stress. As far as billing goes they were very upfront and Gordy provided us a spreadsheet that outlined all of the costs including labor and materials. His budget spreadsheet was right on the money and in the end they came in under budget even with my mid project changes on the granite.
The house was cleaned up every day after they were done; they plastic sheeted off the rest of the house so we could continue living in the house during the remodel. We have several rescue dogs which cannot be allowed to escape out the front door and they were very careful throughout the remodel and never allowed any of the dogs to escape.
I've waited a year to post this review so that I could give an honest appraisal of their work and not be influenced by the euphoria of having the new kitchen. Although even after a year my wife and I are still amazed by our kitchen and how beautiful and functional it is; when we have guests over they walk through our front door and always say, "wow that is an amazing kitchen".
