Marble & Granite reviews in Mill Creek

  • Keystone Kitchens created a dream kitchen come true. Joe Cuzuzza was our project manager along with Josh. They were punctual, always left the job site clean and tidy, problem solved any issues that arose and were extremely respectful of our presence in the house while the work was being done. I can't say enough about the whole process. Chris was a genius at designing the kitchen and he and Susan provided support throughout the process. They were completely honest and professional from the start of the design, the demolition (a complete gut job), to the final beautiful outcome. I highly recommend them!

  • We decided to hire Evergreen Granite to replace our existing kitchen countertop after meeting Bryan and even before receiving other companies’ estimates. Our remodel job was challenging because we wanted to keep the existing tile backsplash which was installed on top of the granite countertop. Also, our cabinet was built around the countertop which added even more complexity. Bryan was very knowledgeable and proposed solutions for each area. He was honest about some of the challenges but also optimistic without over promising. The job estimate included tile work but there was no tile work or cabinet touch up required because Bryan and his crew, Jose, were so careful in removing the existing granite countertop. I was very impressed with the care they exhibited during the demolition process. (Other companies’ approach was to remove 3 rows of tiles first) Our new countertop came out beautiful thanks to Jose and Bryan’s unique approach to working with challenging interfaces. Also, the final bill was much less than the estimate and I can’t thank Bryan and Jose enough for all their hard work. Highly recommend them!

  • My wife and I decided to have a contractor remodel our rather large master bathroom. We interviewed about 12 contractors in June 2017 looking for a contractor that could do the job between September 11th and November 6th, 2017 who had good reviews. My daughter was expecting our 2nd grandbaby and we were providing daycare to our 3 year old granddaughter with plans of providing daycare to both her and the new baby grandson starting on November 6th once our daughter’s family leave expired and she resume her work schedule. Note: I don’t name companies or give reviews on companies that I don’t actually do business with. From the first meeting in talking with Vic Johnson of Johnson and Sons Construction, Edmonds, WA, we hit it off real good. Vic was very professional and met with us multiple times and we had multiple phone conversations to both ensure our selections were ironed out and that actual costs were identified. Our time frame was going to work for him as well. Vic was very helpful as we made our selections for everything, A to Z. We worked **** ** our selections but without Vic’s knowledge of current products and materials we would not have had such a good outcome. When the work was to start, Vic and his team showed up at exactly 8:00AM on September 11th (as they did most days) and introduced us to John and Tony who do the work. I have worked with other contractors who seem to work on other jobs while yours is left hanging – that didn’t happen. John and Tony worked full days Monday through Friday for just over 4 weeks until our project was substantially complete. We had some short waiting periods for sub contractors who were real plumbers, real electricians, and a real roofer. We waited cabinet parts, and high-quality shower door glass to arrive, but it was all ordered well in advance. There was about a 2-week period where not much was going on and we were waiting for the quartz company, doors and moldings to arrive, shower door glass. Vic took care of submitting plans for obtaining the proper permits, etc. I’m old, so admittedly, I had some sticker shock at the costs of doing such a project, but Vic was real kind and patient with me. This was a complete reconfiguration of our original floor plan, so electrical, plumbing, and structural elements had complete changes. We had two surprises to no fault of our contractor. We got the wrong size rollout from the cabinet company for under the sink on one side of our vanity and the door company who was providing doors, jambs, and moldings to be an exact match to our cabinets overlooked including the door jamb wood to our pocket door and our closet door. Vic gave us a choice of just waiting for the door company to provide the exact woods or if we could work together to finish some wood quickly to match. We did a real good job coming close the first time, but Vic insisted that it had to be exact. Vic came through with all new wood and much to our amazement we had an exact color match and the project was completed on time with perfect results. We love our newly remodeled bathroom. I come from a life long career in maintenance and construction. So, I’m used to dealing with contractors & skilled craftsmen and I can tell you that it just doesn’t get any better than this. I cannot say enough good about John and Tony’s workmanship. John was the Leadsperson on the project and he is very methodical and measured and planned every cut to come out exact. I highly recommend Johnson and Sons Construction…

  • First rate experience from start to finish. Natalia, Nick, and the entire crew were nothing short of fantastic. They were punctual, professional, and extremely clean and meticulous in all their work. Cost was less than half price of other quotes I received.

  • Keystone has been great to work with for our project.  The designer, Dennis, made contact quickly and began to help provide the vision for our new kitchen -removing the 70s 'hide the kitchen' model completely.  Then the decision making began with colors, cabinet door types, granite, backsplash, skylight, garden window - oh my!  Once our demo day arrived we met our Master Builder Bill Bevan - who owned the project to completion.  Bill has been fabulous to work with and shared his expertise in ways that made sense to us.  While we were still making decisions on materials like granite, backsplash, garden window, skylight size, cabinet handles, etc., he was there to help us through the process -and still is today should we experience any hiccups with anything, thanks to the awesome warranty Keystone provides.  The greatest part of using Keystone for our kitchen is little to no sub-contractor use - you only have Keystone employees in your house - and they happen to make their own cabinets locally.  We expected to pay a bit higher price for the quality, continually communications, and lack of multiple sub-contractor use, well worth it in the end when they turned our new kitchen over to us in just shy of 7-weeks!  Thank you Bill, Chris and the team at Keystone for our great kitchen -we look forward to enjoying it for quite some time!

  • They did a beautiful job! You couldn't even tell there had ever been a crack. They were on time, professional, respectful, and courteous. I will be calling them again if I ever need a repair and will be recommending them to anyone I know that needs a repair.

  • Overall, we were satisfied with the product.  There was a problem in the powder room with the hole for the faucet being drilled too far away from the sink, which meant that they had to replace it with a new slab.  In the end, they made it right and it looks beautiful.  The crew was pleasant and knowledgeable, and they worked quickly.  I would do business with them again.  If there's anything that they need to work on, it's punctuality and responsiveness.  The salesperson was late showing up to appointments multiple times (after I complained, this stopped), and compared to other contractors we used, the responsiveness wasn't quite as good.  But it all looks beautiful now; they clearly know their stuff.

  • Each and every person we dealt with at Keystone was great. Every employee was professional, honest and competent.
The actual installation was done by Robert, and we could not have been happier him AND the quality of his work - it was craftsmanship. He was fast and his work product was meticulous.  He was punctual, fastidious when inside our house, cleaned up completely every day after he was done, and communicated clearly with us. If we had a question, he was able to answer it.  I truly looked forward to his daily arrival during the several weeks it took to complete the job.
The finished kitchen is stunning. Thanks, Keystone, you did a great job!

  • We loved working with Denis.  First of all, he was very prompt in returning calls both in the bidding process, the decisions on materials and all throughout the job.  His price was actually the lowest and easiest to understand as far as what was included and since he had such good ratings on Angie's List we decided to go with him.  Though he was booked out a bit (a good sign), he worked with our schedule and the renters' to fit us in when we needed the job done.  He had good ideas about how to work around a window in the master when trying to add another sink (and mirror--medicine cabinet with a mirror on the back of the door worked great) and the window sill when installing the granite.  He was flexible when we had questions about different materials to use after we'd already picked some and never seemed impatient as we were thinking things through.  He and his co-worker came exactly when asked and worked quickly--the renters and we were impressed--and he made things as easy on the renters as he could.  We were very pleased with the quality of work and his attention to detail.
As an insight into Denis' character, here's an incident our neighbor told us about after our job was finished:  The neighbor had granite kitchen counters and after replacing his range, found that the opening in the granite was about 1/2" too small to accommodate the new range.  It was going to cost him $250 to have someone come out and grind off this piece.  He happened to overhear Denis call to his helper to "bring the grinder" and he rushed out of the house to ask if they might come and do this small thing for him.  They readily agreed and took care of it for him, and I don't believe they charged him anything (or perhaps the neighbor insisted on paying $50--sorry, I can't remember).  But what I do remember is that the neighbor said, "Denis is a class act."  We thought so too!  We will call Denis first for any remodeling needs we have in the future.

  • Travis is the man!   We got a few quotes for the work, but Travis had the lowest and was also the most helpful of all of them.  He was able to tear out our ceramic counters but keep the ceramic back splash without breaking any of it.  He was also able to arrange to have a plumber come out to do the plumbing of our new sink.  Most other companies told us we'd have to find our owner plumber, which takes additional time and can get expensive.
The guys that worked with him were really helpful and friendly.  The work ended up taking longer than originally expected, but they kept me informed and always let me know what was going on.  Travis was great because he always answered his phone and was quick to answer any of my questions.
