  • Keystone Kitchens created a dream kitchen come true. Joe Cuzuzza was our project manager along with Josh. They were punctual, always left the job site clean and tidy, problem solved any issues that arose and were extremely respectful of our presence in the house while the work was being done. I can't say enough about the whole process. Chris was a genius at designing the kitchen and he and Susan provided support throughout the process. They were completely honest and professional from the start of the design, the demolition (a complete gut job), to the final beautiful outcome. I highly recommend them!

  • Excellent. Chris was awesome from the beginning, showing us all the options, never trying to pressure us and delivering on every expectation. Job from start to finish was managed and performed flawlessly and professionally by Chris and his foreman Jeff. Absolute pleasure from start to finish. Will recommend them to everyone and will use them again.

  • Victor was awesome! He came out and gave an initial quote followed by a rough start time due to other ongoing projects. He completed the 100% bathroom remodel in 2 weeks and did an amazing job. I would use him again.

  • We dealt only with Randy Anderson. This person greeted with some sort of wisecrack, and then continued throughout our discussion to make an inane and smart aleck answerin response to our requests for information (sample: question: how do you safely remove or repair tile on a countertop; answer: got a hammer?). He also commented adversely on the existing installation, said that he didn't have replacement tile, but that we could order other (improper thickness and color) that he had in stock and that was ON SALE, and in every case made it difficult for us to proceed with any type of business deal (sample:question: do you have a business card?; answer: I'm bald). We will never go to this store again, and discourage others from even thinking about a visit.

  • We hired John based on recommendation of our other primary contractor. John has 40 years of experience doing remodels, and specifically in laying tile. John is extremely meticulous and professional in his work ethic, and we benefitted tremendously from the breadth and depth of his years of experience. He sent us to his preferred vendor to select tile, who were very friendly and provided expert guidance regarding the pros and cons when we were selecting tile. They also provided a nice contractor discount on the materials. When our old floor tile was removed we discovered that there was mold on the subfloor, and the floor wasn't exactly level. John was able to seal the subfloor, while simultaneously leveling it as well. He recommended replacing the wooden cove base around the perimeter of the master bath with bullnose tile, which is much more sturdy. Once he completed the floor tile he began working on our shower tile. Again, John was very conscientious in his attention to detail, and always touched base with us to make sure everything he was doing delivered on the vision we had for the final product. When all was said and done, we had a "spa-worthy" master bath that is a amazing retreat. There were so many value-adds John added to the job, small details that, all together, made the final product so much better than even we could have anticipated or imagined. We cannot recommend John enough, he is not only an exceptional craftsman but just a super nice guy too. His prices were extremely reasonable, considering what the other contractors quoted us. If you're lucky enough to hire him, I can tell you you'll be very satisfied.

  • My wife and I decided to have a contractor remodel our rather large master bathroom. We interviewed about 12 contractors in June 2017 looking for a contractor that could do the job between September 11th and November 6th, 2017 who had good reviews. My daughter was expecting our 2nd grandbaby and we were providing daycare to our 3 year old granddaughter with plans of providing daycare to both her and the new baby grandson starting on November 6th once our daughter’s family leave expired and she resume her work schedule. Note: I don’t name companies or give reviews on companies that I don’t actually do business with. From the first meeting in talking with Vic Johnson of Johnson and Sons Construction, Edmonds, WA, we hit it off real good. Vic was very professional and met with us multiple times and we had multiple phone conversations to both ensure our selections were ironed out and that actual costs were identified. Our time frame was going to work for him as well. Vic was very helpful as we made our selections for everything, A to Z. We worked **** ** our selections but without Vic’s knowledge of current products and materials we would not have had such a good outcome. When the work was to start, Vic and his team showed up at exactly 8:00AM on September 11th (as they did most days) and introduced us to John and Tony who do the work. I have worked with other contractors who seem to work on other jobs while yours is left hanging – that didn’t happen. John and Tony worked full days Monday through Friday for just over 4 weeks until our project was substantially complete. We had some short waiting periods for sub contractors who were real plumbers, real electricians, and a real roofer. We waited cabinet parts, and high-quality shower door glass to arrive, but it was all ordered well in advance. There was about a 2-week period where not much was going on and we were waiting for the quartz company, doors and moldings to arrive, shower door glass. Vic took care of submitting plans for obtaining the proper permits, etc. I’m old, so admittedly, I had some sticker shock at the costs of doing such a project, but Vic was real kind and patient with me. This was a complete reconfiguration of our original floor plan, so electrical, plumbing, and structural elements had complete changes. We had two surprises to no fault of our contractor. We got the wrong size rollout from the cabinet company for under the sink on one side of our vanity and the door company who was providing doors, jambs, and moldings to be an exact match to our cabinets overlooked including the door jamb wood to our pocket door and our closet door. Vic gave us a choice of just waiting for the door company to provide the exact woods or if we could work together to finish some wood quickly to match. We did a real good job coming close the first time, but Vic insisted that it had to be exact. Vic came through with all new wood and much to our amazement we had an exact color match and the project was completed on time with perfect results. We love our newly remodeled bathroom. I come from a life long career in maintenance and construction. So, I’m used to dealing with contractors & skilled craftsmen and I can tell you that it just doesn’t get any better than this. I cannot say enough good about John and Tony’s workmanship. John was the Leadsperson on the project and he is very methodical and measured and planned every cut to come out exact. I highly recommend Johnson and Sons Construction…

  • Most other contractors wanted to see the insurance paperwork and then wanted to get the insurance to pay more or refused to bid. CIM came in and never asked to see the insurance estimate -- they simply bid the project and were right on the dime as far as what my insurance estimate was. That tells me that CIM has integrity. CIM arrived on time and did a GREAT job. They have what other contractors lack: intelligence. Ian consulted with us on various issues along the way and gave us good advice. The whole job was completed with superior craftsmanship. The kitchen and powder room look brand new. The tile looks great. CIM takes care to lay down barriers so that your carpet, deck, whatever is not damaged. Ian and his crew are terrific and we would hire them again in a minute to do any other remodeling or construction.

  • The short version: We are absolutely delighted with the finished product. Eric met or exceeded our expectations every step of the way. I would highly recommend him for any remodel work. I would re-hire him again for future work in a heartbeat. The long version: Eric started by quoting our job honestly and accurately. The bathroom in question is large and the scope of the work we had envisaged didn't match our budget to start with. He was honest and frank about that and we appreciated that level of integrity and adjusted our budget accordingly. Eric completed the demo work with very little mess or disruption, in fact I can't believe how little mess there was since he tore out the entirety of a 20 year old master bath. Once the remodel itself started, it became clear that his craftsmanship is second to none - every detail is taken care of in a smart and sensible manner. He is also able to bridge the gap between design and implementation very expertly - using his experience to suggest design improvements as the project moves from concept to reality. He is very responsive to changes to the scope of work that happen naturally as a project progresses and prices changes very competitively. He was able to do everything in our bathroom except plumbing, electrical and glass work (which he subs out to highly qualified sub-contractors) and because he's doing most of the work the finished product is consistent, high-quality, polished and seamless. My final comment speaks to the pride he takes in his work - you can clearly see it in every grout line, every brush stroke. He also happens to be a super-nice guy - we were out of town for a considerable portion of our project and I felt totally comfortable leaving him alone in our home. Before and after photos included in this review.

  • This company performed the worst work I have ever seen. There were paint drips, uneven paint, they used a combo of flat and high gloss on the moldings--total disaster, nail holes left in the moldings, paint and grout everywhere, including splashed up the walls. The tub wasn't grouted properly, grout all over the tiles, things left unpainted, dents in walls, caulking globs everywhere, the moldings mis-aligned and I could go on. They left a complete mess and then wanted payment. When I told them the work was sloppy and unprofessional, and I wanted it fixed, it took them 2.5 months to come back and still they left everything a disaster. It unfinished and I wasn't happy with the work, and they'd hardly addressed any of the issues. When I complained, the carpenter compared me to a nazi and the owner walked me through my house and told me my house was finished terribly so that it didn't matter what they did as it was still better than what I had. Not only was this untrue, but they should have done a professional job no matter what my house looked like. He told me it was the best they could do and he was finished with my home. I am left with a major mess and to pay someone else to clean up their disaster.

  • Daniel was such a pleasure to work with. He has great vision and passion for his work. We are more than pleased with the final products. We plan on hiring Daniel again to remodel our downstairs bathroom.
