    Simon's Construction Services
Simon and his crew were very professional and hard workers. The job was over 200,000 dollars and was done in a very timely manner for the amount of work that they performed. We are very happy with the outcome. Simon is very honorable and ethical. He truly wants to do everything to please you and your vision and have the best outcome. He's also a wonderful guitar player and you get a free show when he is at your home. I would truly recommend him for any job small or as large as ours

Steve cleaned debris in the ballcock mechanism of our toilet.  It now flushes and works better than it has in years!  He also replaced a piece of PVC pipe underneath the sink (arm extension) that the sink drains into.  It was pretty plugged up with debris, and now the sink drains like it should.  I didn't like putting chemicals into our septic system to keep it draining and now the problem is solved.  We're very happy with the work he did and will definitely call again if we have plumbing problems.

    Simon's Construction Services
Simon Way, the general contractor, was great to work with.  He kept me informed of what needed to be done throughout the project and hired sub-contractors (electrician and plumbers) who did a wonderful job.  They just came in, did what was needed and left.  They didn't leave a big mess for me to clean up either.  The whole project was pretty much handled by Fred Stevens, the finish carpenter.  I can't say enough good things about Fred, except that he knows what he's doing, is a perfectionist with his work and a real craftsman.  All the people I came into contact with were very pleasant and professional, and I highly recommend SCS Contracting.
The work went very smoothly considering several problems they encountered:  the wrong type of sub-floor material had been installed, lights in the bathroom weren't a suitable type, trim around kitchen fluorescent light box needed to be made, new doors and frames to replace existing ones were a slightly different size than the cut out space available, plumbing and faucet in one room in the garage present a challenge to use existing materials.
There was a lot of work involved with both the remodeling and completing the new construction work that was never finished.  The project took longer than any of us anticipated but the end result is outstanding.

    Noble Plumbing & Heating

My son-in-law installed a new faucet I had purchased a couple years ago, but never installed.  He did a great job but when he turned it on the water just trickled out.  He was unable to determine the problem so I called Noble Plumbing.  I found his listing on Angie's List.

He was able to find that the hose running through the faucet was plugged with something, clear it, and put it back together.  It works great now.  He even found a leaking supply line and replaced it.

I asked him if he had time for another small job, fixing the loose faucet on my jetted tub.  The only access was through an access under my sink.  It was a very tight squeeze and around plumbing lines, but he was able to get it tightened and working fine.

He is great to work with and very professional at his job.  He did great work.

    Noble Plumbing & Heating
The sewer ejector pump in my basement quit working and sewage was backing up out of the drains.  When I called Noble Plumbing, Richard called me right back and we discussed my problem.  Even though he couldn't do the job until the next day, it couldn't have gone better.  He was all the things you want from someone you are hiring to do a job you don't feel qualified to do yourself - he was professional, punctual, competent and a genuinely nice guy.  He explained what needed to be done and the cost options to replace the ejector pump, then did the work in a very efficient manner which I appreciated since I had to take time off work.

In October 2012, David was to winterize my water system so that I could shut off the electricity during the winter. He was to drain both the house system and the exterior system, including the well house. The charge for this service was $225.00.
When I returned in May, I called David to come and turn everything back on. When there was no water flowing into the system, David discovered that the Well Pump (which was less than two years old), had cracked, which he said was due to freezing. My HOW did not cover this loss, which was due to leaving water in the system and allowing it to freeze. David did not see that this was his responsibility and indicated that turning off the electricity to other parts of the system, did not include the well house. Somehow, intuitively, I should have known this. The new pump cost me $ 600.00.
I had observed my husband winterizing the plumbing system for ten years and had, alone, turned the system back on without any problems. David would not listen to anything I told him about the system. He had his sons with him, teaching them and one of them broke the crystal cover of the UV light . Without that cover, the system could not pump water into the house. Again, David did not consider this his problem and he and his son left, saying, "I'm late for my next job". The next day I went into Spokane and purchased a new crystal cover and installed it myself. However, there was still no water flow. I called David and told him that I had paid him over $1700.00 and I still didn't have water. He returned my call and was very angry and said he would return to my home , but after this, we would not have any further association. Because David was so angry over the phone and because his past actions had indicated that he had no respect for my suggestions, I called a neighbor to come to the house to be with me. David arrived shortly before my neighbor and was berating me loudly when my friend appeared. This abusive behavior stopped immediately. David was here about an hour, before the water began flowing again. I don't know what he did to stop it in the first place, nor do I know what he did to restart it.
In the future, I will winterize my home without any assistance.I can't do any worse than David and All Drains and Plumbing did !!

    Noble Plumbing & Heating
I contacted Noble Plumbing and Richard returned my call the next day. We scheduled a quick visit out so we could discuss the job and his bid was what I thought a fair price so I went with Noble. Richard was very competent and worked quickly taking extreme care to keep the house clean. I was very impressed with the quality of his work and we have had no issues whatsoever with any of the work he completed. He also talked to us in detail about the hard water issue and sediment problems we were having being on well water. He recommended the most economical products and saved us a lot of time and money. I would definitely hire Noble again if the need arises.

    Handyman Connection - Spokane
Nice people but quality of work varies widely anda ttention to detail is definitely lacking.  The price sounded fair until I saw the work that was being done and saw the overall end result of some of the projects.  Overall quality of work was an issue, some of the work performed was unexcuseable, clean up was lacking depending on the worker, etc.

I would look at and consider other alternatives if/when I need additional work done.

    Gold Seal Plumbing
They did a great work.  We had one problem in that the shower base in one of hte bathrooms was defective and caused a pool of water.  It was not found until after the tilers had finished the shower.  Gold Seal replaced and repaired the shower base and the shower at their cost to make sure we were happy.  In another case, another tradesperson sawed thorugh a pipe and caused a flood of a lower floor.  Gold Seal was not scheduled in our home that day but dropped what they were doing and fixed the pipe, so we could have our water turned back on.

    First Class Septic Inc
FIRST CLASS SEPTIC INC. did the job on Sunday which was very nice. I called and left a message on his answering machine to get the job done. He called me within 15 minutes and said that he could be at my house within a couple hours. He came from far out, but said he was in the area. I said it was no rush and he came out anyway just on time. He gave us a little education on what we need to do. He showed us, he cleaned, and did what he needed to do. We were ecstatic with his work.
