  • My one complaint is the reception staff can be unpleasant. After having several basic check-up/ vaccine appointments for some of my pets since I moved to the area, I was inadvertantly late (less than 10 minutes) to an appointment I'd made when my older dog was actually sick with a cough. I had made the appointment a couple of days earlier and had the appointment time mixed up. They do not send a reminder or text. When I showed up 10 minutes late (I thought I was five minutes early), they would not let me see the vet and wanted to reschedule. I went somewhere else and will not go back.

  • The vets (2) are thorough and competent. They do surgeries and are able to provide a fairly full range of services and treatments. They take drop-ins, which is helpful when you have a sick animal. The downside of that is the wait at the front desk can be long.... even if you have an appointment. I would rate their expensiveness as a little higher than most. My main problem is with their location, and attitude. It's cramped and the rooms are not private and dirty. It's in a mini-mall and when people come in with sick animals, if they might be contagious they are asked to wait outside... that means a parking lot or your car, and once when I was waiting outside, they didn't come get me and had let several people in ahead of me. I sometimes pick up strays and get vet care before finding homes, and this vet is very unhelpful on pricing in those circumstances. I've seen the receptionist turn away a woman pleading for treatment for her sick puppy, and promising to make payments because she had no credit card, and they refused to even talk to her about it. It was heart breaking. And another similar situation with a man who brought in a box of puppies. The receptionists were very harsh. I've worked with many vets through humane society and animal rescue, and just my own pets, and this group at least appears to be a lot less altruistic and kind than many. But beyond the subjective side, I don't want to go to a clinic that can't provide a clean, safe waiting area, inside, for sick patients, and keep their exam rooms immaculate. Despite the good vets, there's too much of an assembly-line feel at this vet office.

  • I was charged for a service that did not happen. When I asked about it I was berated by the vet tech. The entire time with the vet was 10 minutes after I waited 15 in the exam room. No blood work and was charged $140 which included exam (horrible), a 56 dollar flea treatment and for an antibiotic shot, which was not administered. That is the service I asked about that didn't happen. They didn't even entertain the idea that it might have been overlooked instead I was basically called a liar. When asked to see the needed, a 6 inch seringe was brought out, I said no I never saw that. I was next to my cat the entire 10 minutes the vet was looking at her. He mentioned the antibiotic, but never gave it. The tech was not in the room. Now I believe it was an unintentional oversight on the vets part, but the treatment when I questioned it was horrible. Am changing bets, this is the rudest group I've seen. I have a great relationship with my other specialist vet for one of my dogs and had a great relationship with my general vet prior to moving to Marysville. Shame on these people for such overpriced shoddy service.

  • I trust them. I always go there. They are really good. They come in and all the attention is on them. They ask us questions as they are doing their thing. They are totally interacting with the animal.

  • I was part of a care club thing. It was $60 a month. That covers all inoculations and examines, and the neutered. I got a better deal. I don't know what it would cost if I just took him in. I bought a puppy plan. It was cheaper.

  • The dogs seemed comfortable. The groomers were really good with the animals. One of my dogs are nervous. She goes in and they make her feel pretty well welcome when she gets there. They are pretty happy when they leave.

  • I had gone through their integrated medicine area. At end of life they took care of him. They have 24 hour emergency care. He died at home and they offered to come and remove him from the home at no change.

  • We have quite a few pets; cats, dogs, and turtles. We have been using them for 20 years. He is an "A" all of the way in every single category. He prices the same on medicine. On flea medicine, you can buy something for a dog that weighs 10 lbs. or he told me to just get the big container for the dogs that weigh 89 lbs. and he gave me a scale that says how much to give to small, medium, and large dogs. You get 16 doses for the same price. The medication says not to give it to cats, but it's identical. He said as long as you know it's .4 mil you can give it to your cats and dogs. Otherwise you're paying $60 for 3-4 doses when you can get 16 doses. I will and have used him again. He was really busy so the wait was an hour, but there was 10 people in the waiting room. I understood because I didn't have an appointment or anything. The vet is great. My daughter's dog had little doberman puppies and they looked like little clones. You couldn't tell one from the other. He had a black marker that every time he would do something for one of them, he would put a mark on their foot to know he took care of them. After he took care of them, he would give them a little kiss. They definitely love the animals. He really tries to help you out. One time my granddaughter didn't have a lot of money so he just charged her a small amount. Or you can go in and ask how much heart-worm medicine is and he will just give it to you. He is right across the freeway. It is very handy for us. He has the animal's welfare at heart.

  • She was pretty good. She really went out of her way and took care of him. She really, really likes the animals. She doesn't do it for money. Their responsiveness was good. I would absolutely use her in the future.

  • I heard about Kelsey from a nurse colleague in Mukilteo. I had previously used a pricey mobile service that charged twice as much for the same service. Since my "pack" ranges between two and four chow chow mixes, I rely heavily on the skills and services of a good groomer. Muddy Paws is a retail shop in front with grooming by appointment in back. Kelsey works on one dog at a time and is usually able to complete a full grooming within 90 minutes. The shampoo and brush-out my dogs receive, along with ear cleaning, nail trimming and clipping in all the right places, keeps them looking spiffy for two to three months. Kelsey does a great job shaping and thinning out their coats to my specifications. One of my dogs is friendly and easy to work with. The other is ten years ld and was rescued from a sad situation. it takes her a while to trust new people. Kelsey is able to do an equally thorough job with both dogs. I appreciate her abilities as a groomer, but also that she is genuinely caring toward the pets she handles.
