    First of all I am not the kind of person to speak badly upon a company but this one I have no choice due to the awful service that ultimately put my family health in danger.  Also please keep in mind that this was NOT my first time of dealing with rodent issues.  I have worked with another local company in the past who has dealt with our issues with a two  visit package the same as the one I paid for with this company.  The other company handled the situation and we were rodent free for very long time so we know how this works.    

     Now for my details -- I wish I had the name if the employee that came to our home as my GUT feeling is that the company itself probably is fine but this particular employee really is making a bad name for them.  I contacted this company after I had the  awful experience of going into a storage closet in my back bathroom to get paper towels only to open the door to a LARGE BROWN RAT!!!  I screamed and scared the awful thing so bad that he ran back and forth then ran over my bare feet to scramble under the cabinet.  This is when I paid for the deal and scheduled appointment.  They did get someone out within a few days BUT when the worker came he entered my home only to tell me that the closet had clutter and therefore he would have to reschedule   after the closet was clean.  NO FRICKIN WAY could I go into that closet as I was petrified,  What in the world  -- Here he worked for a rodent company and was not willing to go into a closet.  He then went outside to call the "office", which I do not think happened.  HE then came in and said he was willing to set one trap in the front of the closet and then to place one trap in the dreaded bathroom.  He then left four traps for ME to set. .  He then refused to go under the home as my spouse was not there. BUT he would do it ONLY if I signed a annual contract for them to come out every two months at $200 a month. He also wanted me to leave me my key so he could come into my home while we were gone to check the two traps.  REALLY?? He kept telling me to rub my ears like he learned in college football to relax.   You can guess my reply = lets just say it was not very lady like.  

    Please remember I am not new to this stuff, and I am very much a lady.  So he left. I contacted Angies List to complain and then contacted the owner to give him the chance to make it right.   He did try,  kind of.   He immediately sent out another tech by the name of Tom who was GREAT.  This guy did check the two traps and both had mice which he removed and set two more traps.  He then also went under the house and assured me that I would only be working with him.  I was ok at this point.  He agreed to come to the home a week later to check traps and again assured me I would not have to deal with the football Jock.  I was ok with this and willing to allow them to redeem themselves. 

     Well we were gone for  12 DAYS and came home to find  out no one was ever out.,  I contacted the company and guess what??  They sent  the original FOOTBALL dude out and he claimed nothing was in traps etc.  and also claimed to bait the rat house.  Well now its beginning of January and suddenly I have approximately 200 + flies in my home.  (dead of winter)_ and my house smells so badly of death that I had to send my grandchildren away.  The smell is so bad that I literally have thrown up many times and feel very ill.    We have had to hire a new company for $300 for three visits and I tell you I am SO IMPRESSED with the new company as the employee went up and beyond anything I ever would have expected. That closet that the first company football dude refused to look in this guy just took everything out as he knew I would put the items back in.   HE FOUND A LARGE RATS NEST along with a DEAD RAT ==  This rat was there when the football dude refused to look.   They also put bait in the outside rodent houses which literally had NONE and will be out go two more visits.    We should never have had to hire another company so quickly if the first one had done their job.  They literally do deserve a F-

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  I hate to report any negative things on any company but this company had the chance to fix everything yet DID NOT.  WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.   You should NOT have to pay twice for three visit rodent control within a two month period.   PLEASE DUE NOT USE THIS COMPANY.  PS sorry for grammar errors

    FAN-TASTIC! We are fans for life! Sean and his crew helped solve a years-long nightmare for us. We had to put our complete faith in his expertise, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We were way overmatched by this problem, and he and his crew were more than up for the task.

    He is the ONLY guy who guarantees his work for two years.

    Sean is a guy who's regularly in touch by phone. He'll call to confirm when and where the crew will be there, and he'll also call to follow up and see how things are going. The crew arrives when they say they will and they go out of their way to solve the problem. In our case, our attic was so hot due to this blistering summer we're having, on one of the days they started work at 5:00 a.m. so they could complete the job before the attic got dangerously hot for the crew.

    LET SEAN BUTLER TALK DIRECTLY WITH YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY. If we'd used someone else, I am CERTAIN our insurance wouldn't have covered it. But Sean knows how to talk to them. In our case, raccoons had babies seasonally, and they first accessed our attic through a big gap that was left after we had a new roof put on. So we had raccoons having babies for maybe two or three seasons. Then, the roofing company came out and repaired the gap, but by then, the raccoon cycle had begun. So those female raccoons knew where they wanted to have their babies, so they just chewed and pulled off siding to get in. The smell of the raccoon urine and feces let the rats know this was a great spot, so then they started invading and raising babies. Homeowners insurance doesn't pay when the original damage is caused by rats, but because our problems STARTED with raccoons, they did cover us. (My own insurance agency -- as soon as I mentioned rats, they just cut me off and told me we weren't covered; they didn't even let me explain the full problem. Our first attempted claim after 22 years! But when Sean heard that he told me he'd deal with them. Yes, we are switching insurance companies!)

    Sean is an honest, direct, hard-working guy with a big voice and a forceful personality. He's VERY direct when talking to your insurance company. You'll be so glad he's on YOUR side!

    He has a regular crew, and these guys (including a gal, too!) are very close friends -- they are like family. They work very hard, and the whole crew is very fun to have around. We had J.J., Crystal, Ron and Larry working here.



    He does a LOT of work ridding homes and properties of squirrels, raccoons, bats, and he's recently been trapping mountain beavers. He doesn't kill them; he relocates them.

    We have been raving to everyone we know about Sean Butler and US Animal Control of the Great Northwest. We really feel like he rescued us, and we are grateful!

    I responded to a coupon special for wasp nests.  I signed up for the service and was given the provider phone number to schedule an appointment.  This was done very promptly.  I was given a two-hour arrival time frame, and Kyle showed up very promptly and took care of the problem.  This was a very big nest, and yellow jackets are particularly mean.  Unfortunately, he was stung right away by one of the "guards."  (I'm pretty sure that he'll wear some type of protective gear the next time he encounters these critters.)  The yellow jackets continued to buzz around the next for a few hours afterwards, and we had to be careful to stay out of their way.  The poison that was used was quite slow acting.  Kyle had told me he would return to remove the nest from the eaves.  I just needed to make a phone call for another appointment.  In a few days, when there was no more yellow jacket activity, Kyle returned to remove and dispose of the paper nest.  He was very professional and I'm very pleased with the service.

    Now they come every two months and trap for critters and insects. They also promise to come out if I have any issues and take care of it as part of their regular service. I live along a green belt so critters can be an issue. So far it seems that their treatments are working. Time will tell as the year moves on....

    The bug guy was super knowledgeable and walked me around my entire property and talked about everything I could imagine involving bugs and rodents attacking the house. He addressed all of my concerns and even gave me a few traps to throw in my attic for free to see if there was a rat problem and showed me how to use them. I decided to sign up for on going services as it is affordable and the service was highly professional and friendly. I would recommend.

    My guy was awesome and set the traps and came back a week later to get them out and he'd caught them. He found a whole under my foundation they were getting in and cemented it closed for no extra charge which was awesome. Good experience and hope we don't need to use them again because they seem to have done the job well but would call them again if I had to.

    They were quick to schedule an appt. Came out, sprayed the next and then told me to call them when it looked like there was no activity so they could come remove it.  I called two days later and said it looked quiet but it was 30 ft up and not very easy to confirm. Tech said he'd be back out later that day or next day.  Was frustrated when I got home the following afternoon to see the next off the side of my house by laying smashed all over the ground next to my house.  The next was broken into multiple pieces and there were dead bees everywhere.
    Why couldn't they put the entire next, if quiet, into a sealed back for destruction?
    Very odd and have not let my kids run barefoot around that side of the house since.

    We had a raccoon break into our attic and give birth to her young just over the master bedroom. Called West Coast Wildlife Control the day after we heard her, and he was out the next day. He tried to trap the mother that first day, but she ran away so he set up traps in the yard to trap her. After a week she was still free so he came back and removed the young from the attic and tried to capture the mother that way. She would not come into the trap, so he recommended how to patch the hole she created to prevent her from entering. Was very happy with the work and would use again.
