    Scruff to Fluff
When I arrived, groomer and owner Artise, picked Benny up and cuddled him as he was trembling. Artise reasured me and I left Benny there. About an 1 1/2 hours later I returned and was amazed at the wonderful job Artise had done. Although his coat was too short due to Petcos mess, Benny looked beautiful. This lady really knows her craft! The name of the shop is Scruff to Fluff. The facility has recently been purchased by Artise. It is really cute, immaculate and comfortable. Disregard prior reviews from old ownership. I was not charged full price due to some of the work done at Petco. What makes Artise and staff so special is both their caring and expertise. Give this place a try if you want your dog to look his/her best.

    Booboo Barkery & Boutique
They are great. They do individual dogs, so one at a time.  They had dry them, not a big machine. They are super busy and well known around the area. They are great. I think the price is ok for one dog at a time and not dealing with all the craziness.  They will text me when the dog is ready. Small shop, very good.

    Scruff to Fluff

I have been going to Scruff to Fluff for some years now, and every year it gets a little worse.   The first experience was awesome... as of the time writing this review, I will never go there again.    It's dirty, cash only, slower than expected, and too hippy for me.  First some positives... as usual, my dog seemed  reasonably calm leaving him there, and the clipping job came out pretty good.   That said, the lady there took more than twice as long as quoted (over 4 hours) to get the job done despite me having a reservation for over a week.  She didn't seem aware there WAS a reservation.  The establishment stopped taking credit cards some time ago (no reason stated) and this is kind of an annoyance when you're talking about a $75 service.  When I picked up my dog, I got a lecture, I kid you not, about not feeding my dog gluten due to some skin issues he has.  I actually have been to > 1 vet about my dog's skin and it's not gluten related, it's a recurring bacterial infection that he loves to chew.  That kind of lecturing was what final pushed me over the edge to write a review.  Believe all the pseudoscience you like, but please leave me out of it.  Finally, if you are not pro-marijuana (I'm cool with it) you should note that two of the times I've gone there the clipper person was smoking it in front of the store.  Even though I'm not offended by it, it cuts my rating for professionalism... smoke pot when you go home, not at work (unless you work in retail I guess)

    Tia's Doggie Spa
Tia does a wonderful job grooming my poodle. I feel the price may be a little higher than other places but Tia's is well worth the difference. One of the most important things to me is that my dog doesn't come home traumatized by the experience. My dog loves to go to Tia's and can't wait to get in the door.

    Tia's Doggie Spa
I was very pleased with this service. I am ready to take my dog back again. These people were very nice, professional and I was able to get my dog in pretty quickly. They did a great job and she came back looking great. My pet was totally fine when she came back so I think they treated her well. The price was pretty reasonable for what they did.

    Best Friends Grooming Salon
I was able to make an appointment almost immediately - within a couple days of calling. She looked great when we picked her up and didn't seem stressed by this first visit to a new groomer. Everything was easy - from making the appt to getting called to pick her up within the promised time frame and picking her up and paying. I feel the pricing is reasonable too. We're definitely going to keep using this groomer in the future.

    THE PET STOPS HERE
We are on our second dog with this establishment and had been a customer for over two years. Sadly, it's not the same business. I brought Calley in to be groomed in the end of and it was a fail. Aware that it was the Friday before the Labor Day weekend, when making the appt. on Thursday - I asked if it would be a possible to pick her up early afternoon if I brought her in at 9:00 am otherwise I would make the appt for next week . I was told, 'no problem' so I scheduled the appt for Friday.
We arrived a few minutes before 9:00 am. When handing over the leash, I asked again: and quot;I'll be able to pick her up early afternoon?' Again, I was told yes and she wrote it down on Calley's card. When I hadn't heard from them by 3:30 pm I called. The receptionist left me on hold for quite awhile and came back on the phone and said, ' She will be ready at 5:00' - without any explanation. I asked, 'Why so late?' I was told the groomer was 'backed up and we'll call you when she's ready at 5:00'.
At 5:15 I still hadn't heard anything. When I arrived and asked why it took so long for her to be ready since I dropped her off before their official opening time of 9:00 am, the receptionist 'lectured' me that if I wanted to pick the dog up early that I should let them know by requesting an early pick-up when dropping her off. She then looked at the card and says out loud: ' Oh ...pick up early afternoon'. Then the groomer said, 'I'm sorry, I didn't know she was supposed to be ready early today. A rescue animal came in that needed to be done early that was going to Canada.'
We had plans to meet friends for dinner that evening. IF I had gotten a call explaining that a rescue animal needed care and that it would delay Calley's grooming and pick-up time - I could have made the decision to pick her up and reschedule or adjust our plans. Any other time it wouldn't have been a big deal and I think it's great that they help rescue animals.
I wanted to pay for part of the grooming but didn't think the full price was warranted because they didn't deliver on what they promised. I asked if the $60 fee could be adjusted. The receptionist said she couldn't do anything and would have the manager call me. The next week, after not hearing from them, I wrote an email on their web site. The manager then called me. Kelly said they couldn't adjust the payment once it had already gone through - however she offered a free 'NEXT' grooming service. THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS HANDLED BASED ON HOW IT WORKS BEST FOR THEM - not the customer. When I mentioned I was disappointed having used them for our other dog and that we'd been with them for over two years, she agreed that we came in regularly and then offered me 'TWO' free next grooming sessions. I probably should have taken the offer but at that point felt like they didn't really care about keeping my business, so we're not going back.

    Tia's Doggie Spa
The visit went great. My Shih Tzu looked fantastic. I got a thank you card from Tia's (on by dog's behalf) letting me know everything that had happened at the visit. I thought that was a really cute 'perk'. He has another visit schedule later this month. I have recommended Tia's to my daughter-in-law for my grand-dogs grooming.

    The Whole Cat and Kaboodle
I took Miso, my long-haired cat, in to The Whole Cat and Kaboodle for a brush and nail trim. Nancy provided the nail trim - for which they only charge $5 for all 4 paws - and included a complete brushing with a little trim for no extra charge. I have previously taken Miso in for a complete and quot;Clean Kittyand quot; service when he got greasy and she did a fantastic job while ensuring Miso was gently handled and not overly stressed. She even handled my and quot;tortitudeand quot; cat - who has been known to bite and attack the vet - with aplomb and a gentleness while providing a nail trim which was not surprising (knowing her) but that astonished me and my cat. The Whole Cat and Kaboodle routinely donates to the Feral Cat Project, so there is always the reassurance that money spent on grooming, cat supplies, behavioral counseling, and boarding is also helping a Trap/Neuter/Release feral cat charity. The owners are a wealth of cat behavior information and also helped me with Miso's anxiety and food fussiness issues. In addition to the retail products (some of which are unique) and cat grooming, the store also has cat boarding and holds kittens for adoption. There's nothing more relaxing than playing with kittens while sipping free coffee or tea! The Whole Cat and Kaboodle opened only a few months ago and only handles cats. This is very reassuring for my kitties. I've been going there shortly since they opened and will continue to bring my cats in for grooming, treats, and new toys. The prices are exceedingly reasonable, the people are knowledgeable, and the service is fantastic!
