Never have called us back or met since we went to their office in June. However they receive $ from our monthly car/home/excess liability policies that we have with Mutual of Enumclaw. Probably should make another change soon.

Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Washington
I like them. They are great. They have a number to which we can call if we have any questions or concerns and they will help you to resolve them. If you need any more information regarding a medical issue they will help you out with it. They never deny your medical claims. I have no problem with them, so that is why I did not change. Their concierge service is very impressive. They have different plans like classic or bronze to suit your needs.

    Group Health
    Zero stars.
Eryn Alpert is (supposedly) a doctor at Group Health.  She and Group Health are both a joke.  I went in on Memorial Day, and apparently Group Health is worse on holidays, bringing in staff that are the bottom of the barrel.
I waited an hour to be seen by someone for a virus and another complaint (to remain anonymous).  Eryn Alpert saw me and all she could say was, ?Take some Benadryl?.  She never addressed my second complaint and then she disappeared.  She was supposed to bring back exit papers but never did, so we left.
I went to see my regular doctor a few days later, to be told what I had was very serious!  The supposed doctor Alpert missed the diagnosis completely.  Now Group Health is sending me a bill and after numerous letters to them and my insurance company complaining about this situation and the lack of care, they sent me to collection.  I will NEVER pay for services not received, and especially that endangered my health vurther.
My advice:  stay away from Group Health and especially this hack of a doctor.  Go anywhere (Zoom Care), but don?t go to people who don?t treat you, ignore a serious illness and then charge you for it.

    Evergreen Hospital
My mother-in-law was visiting from Montana and had her pain meds stolen. We took her to the er to see if we could get something to help her until she got home. The staff at the er was very professional and helpful. My mother-in-law was in tears and they helped her out of a tough spot.

    Virginia Mason Medical Center
The healthcare I received while at Virginia Mason was outstanding. Unfortunately, I have an extensive health history and have been a patient in different hospitals over a 30 year period and this was the best experience I have ever had. The staff was attentive and resposnsive in a timely manner. For example, post-surgery, when I needed assistance and rang my call bell the staff (RN's, Patient Care Tech's) were at my bedside within a minute. The floor Nursing Director inroduced herself the first day and made us aware of her availability. The food and service - from the medical staff to the housekeeping employees - was exceptional from check-in to check-out.
I would recommend Virginia Mason without hesitation.

    LifeWise Health Plan of Washington
I've had health insurance coverage with Lifewise for more than 10 years. They are easy to work with, claims are handled smoothly, and everything has been online for years. The lower grades I gave them are due to the incredible increases in rates annually, which requires me to have to analyse every year without fail.

I've always been pleased with First Choice regarding the payments to my providers, the detailed explanations, and the ease of calling to speak with a live person. The co-pays have gone up quite a bit recently. I would expect this is probably industry wide. I like that certain preventive care providers are on the plan, and every doctor I checked with is on the plan. I'm a little disappointed that the plan no longer includes refractive vision exams. That has gone over to VSP and not all eye doctors are on that plan. They have to have an optical shop on premise to be included, and my doctor is not. My eye exams are still partially covered under medical with a $50 co-pay, but those exams had been 100% covered until they switched to VSP, at least on the plan that I'm on. Overall I am pleased with this company. Since it is paid for by employer I have little choice, but even if I did I would most likely stay with First Choice.

    Overlake Hospital
They are the worst hospital. They are the ones that led to my daughter's illness. She was totally incapacitated because of them. The hospital and their doctors were terrible. Their service was awful. They had all the wrong things. They let her suffer 6 days before they operated when she went in with diarrhea and almost died. They let her colon disintegrate and so now she has to use an ileostomy bag. In their care she suffered multiple strokes in the ICU. They had three different doctors who were supposed to be great. They passed her around and there was no one person in charge for this desperately ill near death person.

    Evergreen Hospital
They can't be beaten. Everything about them from the atmosphere to their service is all wonderful. It is like a place we go like a party, neighborhood or family. It is terrific. They are personable. They have a grand piano in their huge atrium and often somebody will be playing it. It is just that their services are great. I had cancer 10 years ago. I always considered Evergreen like a warm blanket. We are cold, miserable and scared and they take very good personal care of us. They have warm blankets in their lobbies and in the hospital. If we are visiting sick people or staying with your loved one there, they actually have areas in the patient room where we can make up a bed and they provide pillow and blanket. All my doctors are located there are around them. They have a physician's building right next to them. They have all kind of services. They have a very good rating.
