    Kirkland Dentistry
The office staff is friendly, but the dentist is rude and harsh. Let's be clear, the  #1 goal of this office is to make money. The dentist (Dr. Richardson) is curt, unemotional, and uncaring. I have been with them over a year and there have been many things I let slide but I am officially done with them. They even raced my 11 year old in the back for x-rays without even asking me (the parent) if that was okay. I had a broken tooth (2nd one in a year) and am generally a nervous dental patient and had to wait over a week to see the dentist. I finally got in to "see him" and the dental hygenist diagnosed my tooth issue with an x-ray and by conversing with the dentist in the back room. When I asked to see the dentist, he came in the room (20 minutes later) with a major attitude as if I was bothering him. After all, I made an appointment to see the dentist, so why is that a problem? He was rude and uncaring and sarcastic with any question I asked him. I also have an issue with the staff when I asked them if my insurance would pay for a replacement filling on my tooth last year, they said "absolutely, we have never had a problem." When my $400 bill came in and I asked them about it and why my insurance didn't pay they said they don't know "sometimes they don't pay." That is quite a different story I got. I would stay far away from this place.

    Dr. Lynn Jones, DDS
More than 10 years ago, Dr. Jones completely re-worked my smile. The crooked teeth became straight and beautiful thanks to the veneers Dr. Jones created. My smile is natural looking, which isn't always the case with other cosmetic dentistry smiles. Dr. Jones is a true artist, and my teeth after all this time still look fabulous. My husband and I both continue to see Dr. Jones regularly for general dentistry. She and her team are the VERY BEST!!!!!!

I was extremely disappointed in the front desk staff not getting to me after buying the deal.  But, once they did, the appt was booked easily.  The professional staff were good.  I was considered as a "whole person" not just a set of teeth.  My financial status was taken into consideration when designing a treatment plan.  The demerits were given for not contacting me to sechedule the appt; they took me on time on the day of the appt.  Altho told to expect to be there 2hrs, it was actually 2 3/4 hrs, which made me late for a business appt.

    Dr. Raymond Hsu, DDS
Dr. Hsu and his office are pretty good about treating me like a person, rather than a disembodied set of teeth. The first time I went in, we had a conversation about my goals and the effort I was willing to put into dental health, and the things I cared about (and the things I didn't). Every time I go in, they give me advice on how to brush my teeth more effectively, but they seem to understand that actually doing so may not be the highest priority in my life, which I really appreciate.

They are always energetic and cheerful and talkative when I go in, and do their best to promote a comfortable atmosphere. They provide sunglasses to prevent the bright light they need to look at my teeth from hurting my eyes, which I really appreciate. That said, it's still a dental office, and thus not the most relaxing place in the world.

This was my forth or fifth visit I think. The office environment is
clean, peaceful and pleasing. The staff and Dr. Chen are warm and
I have complete confidence in Dr Chen and his staff. I feel like an old friend when I am there.

    Seal, Dr. Tom H
He honors preferences such as mercury-free fillings, fluoride-free treatments and notes these preferences.  He is gregarious, sensitive and makes me laugh.  It is a very friendly staff.  They are accommodating with the appointments.

The people are very nice. When we go up there, we get right in to see them. They just do really good work. The facilities are nice. The staff is great. I'm friends with a lot of the staff. It's just a fun place to go if we have to go to the dentist.

    Nomi, Dr Russell K.
He came in and started to drill....spent about 3 min. drilling and filling so fast. Halfway through, I raised my hand to indicate that I needed to swallow because I had too much water in my throat. He gave out a very impatient sigh and let me do it. At that point I just wanted it over with....and decided to just do it even though I was feeling pain. I did not want any more injections! It wasn't until about 30 hours later that my muscles were working in my mouth to even hold water again. I was quite worried about this. I called his office and said that I wanted a call from him that night. I explained to him that I was upset that I was not numb and in spite of her asking him to do an injection, he refused. He denied that she had asked him to do this! As I was leaving the office, he had many others waiting. He schedules very tightly and his prices are more than reasonable....but it was clear to me that I had messed up his schedule that day by taking so long! The long term result of replacing this little filling, was that he rushed through, did nothing to protect the nerve before filling, and I had pain with any biting on that tooth and terrible temperature sensitivity for months! I went to another dentist and ended up having a root canal and now a crown....and am VERY unhappy about all of this. His carelessness has caused me a lot of discomfort and money for work that was not necessary. I would NOT recommend this dentist to anyone!

    Wentworth, Dr. Rodney
Dr Wentoworth is amazing. I was looking long and hard for a competent dentist that doesn't over-treat. Finally I was recommended Dr. Wentworth, he has impeccable bed-side manners and adheres to the philosophy of observing the development of cavities rather than aggressively treating everything. He teaches ethics in the dental school, and he also applies it in his practice. The cost is rather high like everywhere else, but because he doesn't over-treat it comes cheaper at the end.
His dental hygienists Ina and the billing person Amy are also very friendly and efficient.
