    Cedar Arms Mental Health
Aaron is a wonderful therapist. He has given me great tools to help me in becoming a better, more confident person. I started seeing him soon after a life-changing event and continued to see him to work on old issues that I needed help with. He is a very patient person, very kind and he is open to helping with multiple methods. I choose him because he went to Bastyr. I would highly recommend him.

    Zany Milo
Zanny Milo was ordered by the court to be removed from our case as the parenting evaluator due to extreme bias. She paid no attention to what I said in the meetings. Instead, she imposed her agenda to discredit the man in the divorce. She contacted three friends of mine as references and my friends then contacted me to tell me how crazy she was/is. Zanny Milo showed up in court against me. Even though she was thrown off the case by the judge, she submitted a declaration to damage my case. As far as evil people go, Zanny Milo is THE most evil person I have ever met.

    Crowder, Lynne M. M.S.LMFT PLLC
From November 2012 to July 2013, we saw Lynne an average of three times a month (rescheduling because of illness or travel on our part) because my husband and I were at odds with each other and couldn't figure out why.
Right away, Lynne identified several problems that we worked on separately. During individual appointments, it was like talking to a friend. She gave me her complete attention, never interrupting, even when it took me a while to get to the point. Later, I asked her why she didn't just tell me to "get to the point". She told me that she could see I was working something out and that it was important that she wait for me to process.  I think she is a gem and she is exceptionally good at what she does. She connected dots in my life and for my behavior that I didn't even think about until she brought it up -- and then it was "ah-HA!!"
My husband was at first very reluctant to go to a therapist because he is not a therapy kind of guy. I thought it might be a waste of time but I booked the appointment anyway.  Lynne changed her approach based on his personality and he grew to like and respect her very much.
Finally, when we came together for joint appointments, our time was very well spent.  We continue to see her for "tune up" appointments if we need them.
I think Lynne is amazing and we have a better marriage because of her.

    Jon Berner MD
Mr Berner's attitude is one that could suggest condescension to some. His 'bedside manner' might be considered rude to others. His approach is consistently direct and no nonsense. Mr Berner is intelligent, astute, forthright, direct, and confident in his diagnosis and prescription.

    Ellie Hochman, MSW
Ellie is sensitive and intuitive but also very practical. She has a sense of humor that really helps her patients and she is great at offering creative help and solutions.
I recommend Ellie to any woman who wants a guiding, mentoring hand to get through those tough years when you first become a parent.  She's fantastic and I consider her to be the best in her field.

    Neurological Associates of WA
Initially, there was some miscommunications on my part, but after I got to the right area, the office personnel were very pleasant, professional, and personable. My appointment was with a Dr. Erik Armitano, neurologist. After an explanation of why I was there and what my general to specific problems and symptoms were, he was noticeably thorough in his line of questioning. His physical exam was methodical and thorough as he explained the reasons behind some of the physical tests. After completing the physical portion, he remarked that the remaning symptoms that I was experiencing might be further explained by a detailed MRI of my spinal column. At that point, I became confident that I was in the presence of a good and thorough physician who was not rushed to do other things and he was clear, concise and systematic in his examination. The appearance of the Kirkland office waiting area is large and would accommodate many patients, especially if they have walkers or wheelchairs. The individual exam rooms are somewhat small and the walls could use some cosmetic work, but, it's clean and comfortable. The added convenience of going to this office was that they had the MRI equipment there on site and scheduled my exam for the following week before leaving the office. The location of the office is close to and just North of Evergreen Hospital. I would recommend him to anyone who is experiencing neurological problems and living within commuting distance of Kirkland, WA. As a follow-on note, I went to my MRI at Neurological Associates in Kirkland the following week. It had been years since I had experienced this similar exam. The technician named Ross was so instrumental in puttng me at ease with his deameanor and great personality that the exam came and went without causing me any anxiety or stress. Those of you who have had MRIs know what I'm talking about.

    Evergreen Medical Group
The retirement home my mother lives at, contacted Evergreen for help. Evergreen then contacted family members and we discussed what would happen. The plan was to meet with my mom and make some assessments about her mental health. They were also going to talk to my moms doctor, staff at the retirement home and anybody else that was connected to my mom. We were told that they would let us know what they observed and make suggestions to her doctors etc. Their services started in September and we eventually ended their services in December. The main reasons were lack of communication, no interventions were established to help my mother or the staff at the retirement, we were never informed of anything. We requested to see the reports they were making in writing several times over the course of 4 months. The staff at the retirement home also wanted to see their reports. To make a long story short, we never knew what they were doing as they never communicated any information to us. We became increasingly worried when we found out that they were requesting my mother take additional amounts of drugs to help her mental state. It took several calls from me and other family members to insist that we did not need their services and that we wanted to have any reports they did about my mother. Several months later, we finally got copies of all the reports done on my mother.

    Robert Singer MD
He specializes in headaches and is part of the Northwest Headache Clinic, which is a division of Neurological Associates of Washington. He works specifically with migraines, he is very wonderful, he is the only doctor who has given me relief from my migraines I have been suffering from for 30 years, he has devoted his whole life to this study.

    Deandrea, G A
She ordered the sleep studies that verified Apnea. That was good because it opened doors to treatment for that problem. However, in follow up appointments, she made recommendations for other changes that I was not able to do right away or as completely as she directed. She seemed impatient and irritated about that. She had pages of data from the sleep study, but seemed reluctant to share very much of it with me. When she found that I had not complied to the extent she had ordered, she said something like, "so why are you here?" Her office staff was pleasant.

    Laohaprasit, Dr. Varon
He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, competent, and is a skilled surgeon. On the day of my surgery I was his fifth surgery. He completely changed my life with his diagnosis and surgery. He is a nice compassionate man. I have since seen him for my lower back problem and he has demonstrated to me that he only performs surgery if it is a necessary option. I would recommend him to anyone.
