  • Scheduling the urgent appointment with Johnson could not have gone smoother!! He was responsive, called his technicians to get someone out within 48hrs of my frantic call. The technician, Zach, came out to our house on time!!! Zach went into all the activity areas, our garage attic & under house crawl space to close up all of the entry points, told us the door weathering in the garage was not sufficient & worked with my husband to get everything blocked ASAP. Zach then set traps. By his follow up visit 6 mice were caught in the various locations & Zach immediately set up time to return the following week. The responsiveness, knowledge, calmness, professionalism from Willard's is AMAZING!!! Will always use them & will forever recommend them. A+ provider.

  • Wayne made an initial visit and assessed the situation and proposed the solution and gave us a reasonable bid. He then returned and completed the job on time; this entailed injecting small amount of pesticide in the wall infested with ants and closing off the entry into the home that a rat or rats had created. He also set a trap in the crawl space to catch any rat. Today he returned three weeks later to assess the trap in the roof crawl space, removed the dead rat, and checked for any other signs of rats. His willingness to recheck our home and make sure we are pest free is what makes his service exceptional.

  • Wayne was very responsive and his price was competitive with the national company we used previously, He scheduled the work right away and showed up on time. Wayne is very friendly and did not charge for little extras he did in the crawl space. He repaired an opening in a grate and sealed up a pipe in the crawl space.

  • Service was performed professionally and on time.  Payment process was another matter entirely:

    I was provided with an initial proposal for $999.I called to pay the day of the service at the request of the technician, and left a message when I got voicemail.   I never received a reply to that voicemail, nor an invoice in the mail.  I received a call over a month later asking why I had not paid, at which time I requested an invoice. No invoice was mailed to me; instead I received a copy of the original proposal for $999.  I mailed a check for $999 to the address listed on the proposal. That check was never cashed.

    A month later I received a letter indicating that my account was past due.  They claimed they never received my check and the bill had changed to $1095.  This was different on two fronts: the base invoice was different ($999 vs $1000) and the tax owed was included.  It was never mentioned to me that tax was not included at the time of proposal.  Finally, when I offered to send the originally agreed upon amount, they insisted that I send the new, revised, and increased amount. 

    It's not so much the money (the difference was small) but the facts that a) a clear and correct proposal and invoice were never provided, b) that the proposal had an incorrect address on it, c) that they failed to recognize their error in billing or attempt to rectify in any way.

    I would not recommend.

  • The ants recently came back--probably a new set of them, because they were gone completely for a month or longer and only recently came back. I'll be contacting them again soon to try and wipe them out for good.

  • Bobby, from Eastside Exterminators performed remediation to our house today to keep mice from getting in.   Prior to his arrival, about a week ago, an inspector from the company came to our house and mapped all the areas where mice could be getting in.   When Bobby arrived, right on time, he had a map of our house, prepared by the inspector, and he was able to get right to work.   In addition to the areas that were mapped, Bobby found some other areas he thought needed work, and he just went ahead and did that too.

    He was really a great guy, knowledgeable and personable.   He was very professional... and we feel really good that we're doing everything we reasonably can to keep mice from getting back in.

  • I have used this company a few times, and referred them many times.  It has always been the same.  Quick response, excellent work ethic, very knowledgable about there business, very professional and affordable.   They always seem to enjoy the work they do, which to me seems wonderful in and of it self.    The first time I called them was for bees in the wall of an apartment I rented in Kirkland back in 1996.  I will always call them first!

  • I've used Eagle Pest Eliminators twice now. The first time was to remove a small wasps' nest and to spray for ants. They showed up on time, the insect treatment went quickly, and the worker had a sharp eye - he noticed some sawdust and pointed it out to me, concerned that it might be carpenter ants. We'd recently had construction done in that area, so it was leftover from that and not an issue, but it was good to know that he was looking out for other potential pest issues while spraying.
    The second time, I needed a rodent abatement as part of a demolition permit. The price was fair and Steve explained everything he was doing and the full cost of the package. When the receipt was not enough proof to get the permit, Steve wrote a letter for me at no extra charge.
    During the abatement, he gave me regular updates without being intrusive. When the permit and demo process took a month longer than we'd initially estimated, Eagle Pest Eliminators extended our service (the bait had to stay out until the day demo began) with no hassle and no extra charge.
    While I hope to never or rarely need pest control again, when I do, I'll call Eagle. They were patient, fairly priced, punctual, easy to communicate with, and their services worked.

  • Initial visit from technician:
    Installed wire mesh, but missed two bird blocks as well as leaving multiple gaps uncovered.
    Mesh was installed crooked in places, which was surprising since the inspector reiterated multiple
    times how important it was to have them installed level.
    Did not use pads for ladder, causing minor damage to metal gutters
    Did not use proper footwear for composite shingle roof
    Instead of flashing around the sump pump drain, cut and screwed on wire mesh
    Dryer vent guard installation was very poor. Added a wood block to the house, as an attachment point, but used multiple pieces of scrap wood, did not caulk or seal the wood, and did not prime or paint. Metal guard was damaged and began to rust within weeks.
    Second visit from technician:
    In spite of poor quality of work, the same technician was sent again
    Wire mesh for bird blocks was fixed
    Instead of installing flashing around sump pump drain, tried to seal it with silicone sealant
    Instead of removing and redoing the dryer vent guard, tried to cover it with silicon sealant and then paint. Did not come with equipment for painting so used mine. Rusting metal guard was not replaced.
    After speaking at length with the manager for all technicians, and communicating all of my concerns, I was assured that a new crew would be sent out that would resolve all issues. I was convinced to give them one more chance, with the hope that this was an anomaly: 
    A new crew came out and installed flashing around pump drain and completely replaced metal guard and wood shim for dryer vent
    A single piece of wood was used this time, and it appears to have been caulked (though there does not appear to be a sufficient amount along the drip edge, there remains a gap between the wood shim and the wood siding of the house)
    Wood was primed, but not painted (they arrived late for their appointment and did not have enough time to finish) 
    Multiple holes in wood siding left from previous installation were not filled
    Debris left in the middle of yard
    After leaving multiple voice mails with the technician manager over a period of days, which were all un-returned, I contacted the main office and had them contact him. He said that he would send the crew out to finish the job. However, he instead sent the original technician who had done poor work to begin with, who made a mess of the painting. After he left, I did my best to clean up what he had done done wrong (multiple drips formed, paint on surfaces that shouldn?t be painted).

  • Prompt response after initial contact. We were in the middle of a complete kitchen remodel (tear down and rebuild) when contractor discovered evidence of prior rodent and bird infestation within wall and ceiling insulation (insulation only in the academic sense - it had turned into complete powder.)
    After initial evaluation and inspection, we scheduled them to provide the insulation replacement project.  Their team arrived early and set up to power vacuum out the old insulation, replace insulation and sprayed on barrier. The job was done professionally and on time, all evidence of old materials removed and cleaned up work site completely without further trace. They sprayed repellent  for insects and ensured barriers to any critters attempting to get under eaves, etc.  They were careful to add plastic barriers within inside of house where needed and set up all equipment to be least intrusive to our normal activities.
    In September 2014, we again contracted with Pest Free to perform quarterly inspections and update repellent, check for any possible infestations, and clear areas inside and around outside of property.  They are responsive to all questions, and have provided first two months of repellents and maintenance. So far so good - no annual migration of insects and spiders into our home as per usual when temperature gets colder.
    The quality and cost are reasonable considering the alternatives. We highly recommend Pest Free for preventive maintenance and insulation needs.
