Mike was very easy to work with! He understood what needed to get done and when there was a complication he was able to easily come up with cost effective and easy solutions to the problem. The quality of work is amazing. Which I wouldnt expect less of from someone with 40 years experience! Definitely would hire again and refer to anyone who needs a great handyman!

    Mount Zion Construction LLc
A tenant was moving after many years and kids going through the teenage years so it was in bad shape. Jose and his crew came to the rescue and completed a refurb on the unit. The work included replacing 7 doors with frames, 3 double closet doors, new carpet in bedrooms, new LVP in other areas, wall repair, window replacement and painting the entire unit. They did a great job and when I found an issue later Jose came right over and fixed it. Since then I have hired Jose to do additional work on the property (a 4-plex) including a partial refurb on another unit. In fact Jose is currently getting a unit "rent ready" while I am unable to be there myself. I highly recommend Mount Zion Construction because I have come to trust Jose and trust is very important to me.

    Brandon's Floor Covering
The service provided exceeded my expectations. Nick was very easy to talk to, and very good at explaining the processes throughout getting new floors. Our job required 3 different types of flooring; carpet, tile, and laminate. Nick installed all of it by himself and did a fantastic job. He also helped fix minor things around our house and no extra charge. example under out kitchen sink had water damage. he ripped out the bottom of the cabinet and replaced everything free of charge. He was also very helpful with walking me through how to remove our appliances such as hot water heater, and dishwasher. Overall I am very satisfied with the work provided, and would recommend him to anyone I know.

    Brandon's Floor Covering
Nick was a pleasure to work with. He's honest, knowledgeable, and was a great help in guiding us to the right product for our needs. He also sanded and repainted some damaged baseboards--a job which was added after our first commitment, and he still finished the job on time.

    Poseidon Painting Co. LLC
They applied two coats of Rodda Cover Coat paint, which both ensured good coverage and durability. Because of the "unknown" factor, i.e., extent of water damage, the carpentry repairs were performed on a "time and material" basis. Additionally, the 25 year old weather stripping was replaced on exterior doors when they were removed for painting. All went very well and I'm delighted with results.

    Best Construction General Contractor
Before I chose Best on the initial visit before their bid,  I could see they understood painting and saw things that were needed to be done to get the results i wanted on a repaint job of a house built in 1996. Work began on the day agreed and was done in four work days the same week.  One day lost due to rain in wise  decision not to risk damage to new paint by a rain shower. . First they pressure washed everything.  Then the second entire day was spent preparing the surfaces, sanding some peeling paint, filling holes and cracks with caulk and priming these areas.  Then, after the rain delay,  in two days the painting was finished in perfect weather.  Best had four workers each assigned to part of the painting, so two worked on the big spray painting which required careful masking of windows, doors, light fixtures etc. Then they painted the front door and garage side access door neatly with a different color.  A third worker specaiized in the white trim and porch railing  being extremely careful to make a neat edge where the white trim and main house color met together without overlaps . The fourh worker hand brushed  and rolled strain into an overheat louvered patio cover. He went over each cedar board many times with roller and brush until the wood would not soak up any more stain.  VERY good coveage. For the entire job four colors of paint and stain were needed and they used Home Depot's highest grade exterior  paint that got top scores in Consumer Reporta long term paint tests. Planning and supervision of the work was outstanding, and they added a second coat to a West wall hit by afternoon hot sun.
One advantage of Best Construction is they were skilled in other contraction work and I used them to repair a wind damaged storm door.   Also. they noticed I had some roof shingles on the ridge top that were damaged and repaired this for  a small added fee.   Getting this fixed before wind blew these shingles off saved a major repair job later.  VERY pleased they noticed this.
They cleaned up nicely and everything was finished  on time at the agreed price.  They left me buckets of all four colors for touchup of any future needs.  They even removed and folded the tarps I had put on to protects a few shrubs near the house.  i made payment by check at the completion of the job as agreed..
Final job looks like a new house!!!

    Best Construction General Contractor
He was on time if not a little early ever day ready to det started, he and his crew are very professional and from start to finish the job was completed and the place cleaned. Afterafterward we did a inspection that he found a couple of things they missed and he corrected on the spot, things I would have missed. Over all I will use Best Construction again

Kevin showed up almost immediately after my 85 year old mother called for an estimate to replace her garage roof.  He gave her an estimate before the end of the day.  Mom accepted the estimate that day and paid for the job in full.  His roofing guy showed up the next day and completed the job.
Overall the job was completed professionally, only minor problems of job site clean up, and damage to landscaping from material storage were experienced.
Roof worked excellent until first major rain.  At that rain, the roof developed two small leaks.  The next day, Mom called his office and tried to get him out to fix the leaks.  Phones have either been disconnected or are going unanswered.  She has been trying to contacted him for the last two weeks with no luck.  His listed phone numbers do not even accept voice mails.

I have a commercial building in the Vista Field area that is not finished on the inside and I wanted to complete it as a vanilla shell so I can start showing the space to prospective tenants.   Estimated cost for this job would have been around $18,000.00.   This preliminary work would have been a test for a remodeling company and it could have led to tenant improvement of additional $80,000.00 worth of work once we found a tenant to lease the space.   I decided to use the Angieslist to find the right remodeling company.   After reviewing the companies listed in Angieslist, I decided to call Columbia Basin Home Improvement LLC.   After making an appointment for the next day to get together to go over the details, that was the last time I talked to them.   I wasted a whole afternoon the next day waiting for CBHI to call & tell me when they were going to come over to the empty building.   Yes, I could have called them myself, but this was a test of their reliability.   Either this company can't handle bigger jobs or they aren't very reliable if they can't even remember to keep a simple appointment.

It's nearly a year later now and we love the patio. We feel the quality and design are great. We were happy with the workers and the roofing sub...all courteous and knew their craft. However, we could not rate this as an "A" because of the poor communication from the owner. We spent too much time calling them to see why they hadn't shown up for the next step, as they said they would, and when we could expect them to reschedule the work. We hope this important part of their service will improve because we really think they gave us a quality covered patio at a fair price.
