    Rainier Industries - Power Screens
Positive experience all the way through. First time I've ever had such a positive experience with the actual installers. About 6 to 7 guys showed up to do the work which I was very pleased with. I had feared that the installers might have been short-staffed as I have often seen on other non-Rainier projects. The guys were great together and seemed to really mesh well with each other. Everyone knew exactly what they were supposed to do. The lead and another gentleman took the time to explain the various features and recommended maintenance. Installation probably took only around 90 minutes or less. No mess left behind. Highly recommend.

    BUDGET BLINDS OF BOTHELL
Unprofessional. Appalling. Rep came in off the street and walked onto my pristine wood floors with his dirty stinking street shoes. Is it not standard operating procedure for a home rep to put on shoe booties before entering a home? Alternatively, simply take off your dirty street shoes. No class, ghetto, pure amateur.

    The Shutter Store Inc
The experience turned out great. I had ordered some shutters through another company, and they were all wrong, although we had talked and talked about them. This company has a great website, and it is very good. It was one big window that I wanted to have the option to close the top and the bottom separately.  Their price was comparable to the other company.

    THE BLIND ALLEY
The person who arrived kept making inappropriate jokes starting at the front door. All of these jokes were unprofessional. Her whole manner was unprofessional continuing to compliment on things around the house; wanting to look out in our back yard and telling us we had a little bit of paradise (just way over the top).
After about 15 minutes of an extremely fast talking sales pitch and silliness, we asked her to leave indicating she had nothing we were interested in. She indicated she only sold Hunter Douglas blinds when the coupon was not good on any but one type of blind. The coupon we had listed several other brands of blinds were available from her company. We explained we had already gotten one other estimate on Hunter Douglas blinds and they had the type we were interested in. She said we didn't know what we were talking. When we said, there was no reason to go on any further, she got extremely upset; slammed things around closing up her books, picking up her shoes, etc. As she walked out in a huff, she indicated we wouldn't be allowed to call her company again if we were dissatisfied with the other estimate.

3 Day Blinds - Orange County
We called to get a quote because everything seemed very reasonable and they were happy to come out and quote for free. The rep was very nice and went over the history of the company and how all of the people involved with the company were all official employees of 3-Day Blinds and not sub-contractors.
Some of the blinds we wanted were not available for a month but the others were available in ~week. The guarantee, as we understood it, was that the day your blinds are available they get installed in... 3 days.
So we gave them the go-ahead and they charged us the $900+ cost immediately.
Deadline for the 1st installation came and went with no contact from an installer or our rep. We called and called and finally had to call the corporate HQ and send email.
My wife was transferred to a regional manager who received her frustrated complaints very well, he kindly explained to her that our order wouldn't even be available for months later than we were even promised. They cancelled the order and we are waiting to see how long the refund will take.
We're calling Lowe's as we should have done first.

    Burrows Draperies
We have used Burrows several times over the past 2-3 years. They are the only company I would use for draperies: they are local and do their own work. John Burrows gave us a good range of fabric choices from which we found just what we wanted. The cornice boxes are beautifully executed, and were a perfect fit (and his suggestions for height to balance length were "spot on"). Burrow's policy is to allow 2.5 times the width of the wall for fabric, so the drapes are beautifully full. The work was completed on the day they said (some luck for availability of the fabric involved), and installation went smoothly and quickly. The mini-blind purchase was successful These, too, went as planned - arrived at the scheduled time, fitting properly. I will repeat: Burrows is the only company I would use for draperies, or any window treatment.

    Budget Blinds of Snohomish County
Budget Blinds of Bothell were a pleasure to work with. It's a family run business and they obviously take pride in what they do. I wish blinds weren't so expensive, but they came in more affordable than Costco. We absolutely love the Shutters they recommended.

    Northwest Window Coverings
We just moved into a new house and resorted to putting cardboard boxes in the windows for privacy. We contacted some big name companies (such as Costco) and it was going to be a few months before we could get any blinds installed. Robert came out quickly, spent lots of time with us going over all our options, gave us lots of good advice, and really helped us through the thought process of what types of blinds/shades to get. Before he left, he installed temporary paper blinds so we would have some privacy while we waited for the order to be filled. Two weeks later, he installed the blinds in a few hours in the evening. His prices are very good and he guarantees his work with a written guarantee. I highly recommend him.

    Chinook Services
Alerted me immediately that I had overestimated their time commitment so I had enough time to think of other projects.  Did an excellent job with the tasks.
