    Country Carpenter
The quality of the metal railing recommended is excellent, much more finished looking than what I have seen in display rooms. The look is beautiful with our traditional home. The installation is perfect even though the deck slopes away from the house, the spindles are perfectly straight. Two problems with being so good: the product is not the cheapest on the market and one must wait a while to fit into their busy schedule.

    AA Defined Exteriors
From the beginning Mike stood out from from all the other contractors i had bid on my job. he wasn't the cheapest but when it came to his knowledge and ability to answer all my questions he was amazing. i called the references he provided and everyone was unanimous in their praise and adamantly said that all future work would go through AA Defined. our project was fairly detailed and the picture i painted to Mike was heard and understood and on top of that he made suggestions that i hadn't thought of. in the end it was better than i had hoped. As if Mike wasn't enough than the installer Kevin showed up and from start to finish was nothing but professional, communicating the process and being more than gracious to answer all my questions (and i had a lot of them). my family and i have made Mike and AA Defined our only recommendation to all friends and family for all of your exterior projects. next year when we redo the inside i'm going to see if i can't convince him to do that as well. Thank you Mike and AA Defined you exceeded my expectations

    Washingtons Best Decks and Siding
Washingtons Best first came out to to give us a estimate on our deck and we hit it off right away. The estimator had a lot of knowledge and gave us some great ideas that we ended up using on our deck. Throughout the conversation he mentioned that not only do they do decks and siding but they also do Roofing and windows as well. We ended up signing up with them that day and received a 10 percent discount for doing both projects and signing up when they were out there to make it efficient. They came through for us even in the busiest time of the year. Two thumbs up for everyone from Washington's best

    Le's Landscape & Yard Work
Fantastic! While talking to Mr. Le I told him I had a trouble spot in my front yard that gets a lot of foot traffic. In winter that results in dead grass and lots of mud. He designed a french style walkway next to my driveway that looks fantastic. No more mud or trying to regrow grass every spring. They also power washed my driveway, steps and front porch. Their power washer is much more effective than mine. They trimmed all the bushes and grass. Mr Le supervised the building of the pathway himself. He is very meticulous. A true craftsman with a lot of pride in his work. He will also do a little extra every time I have contracted with him. I told him it would be nice to clean up the backyard too but they didn't need to do it this time. It doesn't get a lot of attention in winter typically. But they did it anyway. They power washed all the moss off the back sidewalks and mowed the grass too. they didn't charge any extra for that work. They did it all in about 3 hours. Mr. Le is usually not the cheapest quote but when he is done I have always felt it was worth it, and more. He will always do things I never thought of. He does what needs to be done every time. And that is why I have enjoyed his companies services for 4 times now. I will probably have a job for him this spring.

The job went without a hitch. I have worked with Ray in the past and I admire his professionalism. I also appreciate working with somebody that I trust. I will continue to use L&L construction as projects develop

Ray did an EXCELLENT job! He did everything we asked of him.. and more. His workmanship is first class. Our old deck was starting to fall apart, so we hired him to "repair" it - not replace it, but the job he did made it look like a brand new deck. He listened to our desires and made suggestions and worked with us to come up with the perfect solutions. He was patient, friendly and an absolute master craftsman. He worked on it until the job was done, not leaving to take care of other jobs, as some do. We are completely satisfied with the new deck we now have. And I would definitely hire him again before I even looked for anybody else.

The owners were very helpful on timing of the repairs and issues that needed to be addressed. Very responsive to my questions I had about some of the changes I wanted.

I reviewed the work with them before agreeing the work was complete.

Very friendly and easy to talk with. Took time to explained things I was not familiar with on the repairs to make sure I was happy with the results.

They came out and gave me an estimate for a new deck that would be bigger than the old one. The price I was quoted for an entire deck was to high ($25000) so I had them just remove the old deck and put in a new frame only so I could put the decking down myself.
The first day they came out they removed the old deck but had a problem with the company who was supposed to supply the dumpster (I do not fault them for that) and said the dumpster would be a day late and would have to leave the old deck in a pile which I agreed would be fine for the day. When I got home from work the crew had already gone home for the day but left the entire pile of old deck in my neighbors yard which is very clearly not mine. I had to call them out that day to move the pile since my neighbor was having no part of it because of their small children. They came out and moved it within an hour.
The next day they started putting in the deck frame. When they left for the day I went outside to see how it was looking. There was a large amount of trash laying around the work site including cigarette butts, nails, screws, bolts and scrap wood. The had also piled the new wood for the deck again on my neighbors property and I had to move it.
The third day the employees were out they worked more on the framing of the deck and pored the concrete footings. Again they left a large mess across the entire work site. The last day they were out the did not bother to fill in the holes around the deck posts where the concrete was pored and did not clean up the large amount of nails, screws, bolts, trash, butts, etc that were laying around. I had to go out and pick up all the trash because I didn't want someone stepping on a nail. I picked up 2 quart size mason jars worth of fasteners that were left behind.
They called me that Monday to ask how I liked the work they had done and told them I was not happy. I told the about the mess the large number of problems there were with the quality. At least half of the beams had large gaps common to the strong tie brackets holding the onto the beam connected to the house. The beam on connecting the deck to the house had a gap in the middle of at least six inches and looked patched together. The flashing they installed under the siding was bent in several places and also had a three inch gap at one point. On the beam opposite the one connected to the house there is not one single joint where the board ends meet the is even causing the deck boards to be preloaded where they run across. They did not put end sealant on one single pressure treated board they installed (every board is pressure treated) and didn't do a very good job of cleaning up the end cuts that are exposed. The gussets they installed on the posts all had gaps, two were not even touching the the deck frame at the top. They left at least ten nails sticking out of the deck that could easily of caught someone walking by and injured them. There were a some screws that were put in that did not make it into the boards they were supposed to be connecting to.
They had to send out a supervisor/team lead three times to try and fix the problems that I had with the deck before I needed to start putting the decking down.
I asked for money off the contract because the deck was not the quality I expected for paying $10000 for a deck frame, I was told the best they could offer was $250 off the price which I argued seemed pretty pitiful for how much was not right and the fact I was supposed to be paying for a new deck but instead got a reworked deck. I agreed just so I could be done with them and be able to start putting the decking down. They said they would mail me a check and put that in writing on the the contract that they signed, That was at the beginning of August, I received the check in January. When I was putting the decking down after all of this I found out they had built the frame too close to the back sliding door, back bedroom door and siding.
At the beginning of January I wrote a review of the service I received, they contacted me the next day and sent a project manager out to see the deck and my concerns. They sent out a team the next day, which was a Saturday, they came out and fixed the issues I had and finished installing the decking to fit under the back doors and the posts for the deck. They were very professional and left the job site very clean.  I am happy with how the project turned out overall.

    Chinook Services
Jay was prompt in providing an estimate and the services were provided as scheduled. One employee was running a few minutes late and had the courtesy to call to let me know he'd be about 15 minutes behind schedule - this is a first and won them mega points. The work was done promptly and looks great. Every employee I encountered was very friendly, seemed honest and were very responsive. Would recommend and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
