  • Parts:
    - First time I ordered a part I was told to come and get it on a certain day.  No call required first.  I showed up and they couldn't find the part.  Turned out they forgot to put in the order.  They did give me a discount to make up for it, but I had to return again to get it.  Long round trip drive.
    -  Second time.  I ordered an extra key fob.  Go to pick it up and they forgot to order the small pocket key to go with it.  Another return round trip required.
    Service:
     -  Brought my car in for warranty work.  I had three issues I wanted looked at.  When I looked at how the service order was written up I asked that the verbiage be changed on one of the write-ups to make it more clear.  The lady behind the counter writing up the service order hemmed and hawed and said my requested change in description wasn't necessary.  I repeated I wanted it done.
    I also asked to talk to the technician before he started work to make sure he understood the nature of one of the problems which was fairly technical.  All she said was " have a seat in the waiting room ".  An hour later I saw that the technician was already working on my car without talking to me first.  I went out to the service bay to talk to him to explain what I wanted to.  I also asked him what he thought about one of my three issues, and he said he didn't know anything about it.  I had to point out to him on the service order where it was.  It was written in plain sight, but the counter lady never fixed the verbiage like I asked.
    -  When I brought the car in on a separate occasion to have the third key fob that I had purchased programmed, I was asked if I had brought both my original two key fobs.  I had only brought one, but no one told me to bring both.  I guess I should have brought both just out of cautiousness, but I should have been told this.  Yet another wasted round trip.

  • Preventative care. They felt that it was best to replace, plugs, thermostat,bits and pieces of this and that. (would have to pull out the invoice) On my short drive home, new thermostat overheated and the engine developed a serious problem within 2 months. My auto never had any issues prior to this unlucky servicing.

    Brought it back the day after overheating and was told that sometimes this happens-right-new thermostat must be defective. Waited nearly 3 hours first thing the next morning, 2nd on site at opening, while service was performed on other customers cars. No thank you. Never again, and, my car still sits in the garage as I would have to tow it to a reputable mechanic to see what the h*** happened! I am the original buyer of this vehicle and it never let me down till this unfortunate selection of service provider. PS..Luckily I have another vehicle at my disposal, but that does not negate the fact that I made a huge error in trust.

  • My husband and I had recently purchased a used 25 foot travel trailer and were within days of leaving for our first ever road trip. Brian and his crew were personable, professional, but most importantly, knowledgeable. They repaired our refrigerator and fixed some electrical issues promptly and thoroughly. Everything works great. However, what impressed me most was their recommendation that we have a stabilizer bar installed on our trailer hitch in order to increase the safety and stability of our ride. Being completely new to the trailer lifestyle, we would not have realized the need for the stabilizer bar until on the road, presumably while fishtailing wildly down I-5 and praying for salvation. We took their advice, had the stabilizer installed and had a wonderful, safe and worry free trip. Thank you Genesis Automotive!

  • The cost was very reasonable. I don't the amount but it was around $100. I had new wiper blades put on and the 25000 mile service. I had quite a bit of stuff done but it was very reasonable.
