Center for Weight Loss Surgery - Dr. Myur Srikanth
This is a review for services regarding general surgery, not bariatic surgery. In October, 2017, I presented to Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland for acute appendicitis, having two previous flair-ups during the summer, where I refused open surgery due to an extensive medical history. The previous surgical consult with a different surgeon was difficult, as the surgeon insisted on open abdominal surgery that could further compromise my immunde system. To my great fortune, Dr. James Taggart was on-call in October and, although I was ready to concede to surgery at that point, he recommened another round of antibiotics to reduce the size of the appendix for easier retrieval 8 weeks later. On December 14, 2017, after the course of antibiotics, I was admitted for outpatient surgery that went extremely well. Dr. Srikanth, who kindly introduced himself just prior to the operation, assisted Dr. Taggart with the procedure. I had my follow-up today without incident and am healing well. I cannot emphasize enough how important it was for me that Dr. Taggart listened to my concerns regarding previous abdominal surgeries, and his confidence that this could be done, barring complications, on an outpatient basis, something the previous surgeon either did not know or would not consider. His skill, focus, and bedside manner were professional and very much appreciated. I commend Dr. Taggart and Dr. Srikanth to you. Rev. Bryan Jackson, Kirkland [*** Link removed ***]

    Virginia Mason Medical Center
We have been going to Virginia Mason in Seattle and Bellevue since late 2014 to treat my daughter's endometriosis since my daughter's gynecologist is there. She has had 1 surgery, multiple blood draws, and an ultrasound at the Virginia Mason in Seattle.  Our experiences with the hospital have all been very good.  There is alot of parking available with a discounted rate for patients (important in Seattle).  The registration people are always nice and honestly are kinda quirky which always makes us smile (important when dealing with medical stuff). The staff are helpful and caring.  My daughter's blood draws have been some of the best which is a definite perk since she has been considered a hard draw elsewhere.  Overall, I have alot of trust in the care Virginia Mason offers.  We have not had a bad experience there since we have been going.

    Rothblatt, Dr. Alan B
After many failed attempts at getting an appropriate diagnosis and treatment, we found Dr Rothblatt in late 2014.  He is by far the best gynecologist my daughter has seen.  My daughter is currently 17 and has been experiencing debilitating pain associated with endometriosis since she was 13.  Finding Dr Rothblatt has been a god-send.  He listens, and I mean really listens.  He takes the time to get a complete history and explains options thoroughly and in an understandable manner.  Our visits with  him tend to run a little long (about an hour), but that is because we have so many questions which he takes the time to answer.  When we are with him, his focus is on my daughter and treatment of her as a person, not on time constraints, the bottom line, or anything else.  He is willing to look outside the box and in a field that has some standard treatments, he takes a look at the individual and decides whether the standard treatment is really the way to go or if another alternative is better.  He brings a knowlegable and  humane touch to the medical field.  He is an excellent doctor and I feel secure in knowing that he will be the doctor overseeing my daughter's endometriosis medical care for the long haul.

    Adatia, Dr. Alnasir H
Dr. Adatia is a great Dr.  He takes time to explain things, very understanding, and willing to work with you.  He is very knowledgeable.
The only downside is that he is often very late for appointments.  He can run late for even a few hours.  It would be great if the staff had an adequate solution to solving this problem (such as calling you when he can see you within the next 15 minutes), instead of waiting in the waiting room.
The best time to schedule an appointment is early in the morning, or right after lunch (about 2:00pm), then you get seen much more quickly.  However if you need to be seen for anything other than a regular appointment, you have to wait in the lobby.  It can be frustrating.

Wonderful!  Dr. Fasullo is so down to earth and listens to all of my concerns.  She doesn't make me feel rushed or like she doesn't care.  I have 4 children that go to her and I hope to always live where she can be their doctor.

    Estelle Yamaki MD
    I love Dr. Yamaki,
I have only been apart of her practice for 2 years and every time I go she treats me like I'm the most important patient in the world. She is 100% present during the visit and will take time to explain and educate you. Her personality is very understanding and her expertise is both in information and experience.
If you like your appointments to be on-time I suggest you book right after lunch or first thing in the morning. She tends to run behind schedule. I see this as a trade off, as she doesn't rush through appointments. I highly recommend her.

    Bowles, Dr. Rick
It is a really good facility and they have a lot of services there. If they don't have the service then the can refer you to another specialist. You don't have to worry about records being transferred back and forth. My whole family have been seeing him for 10 years.

    Brown, Dr. Paul B.
He's good at keeping up with research and the latest trends. He's knowledgeable, willing to work with tough cases, and is a good doctor. He's patient, kind, and has good bedside manner. He's also really good at communicating with the patients. The staff is really good and responsive. I had to get a medical note for work and they were amazing.

My experiences there have been really great. They selected me to participate in a new program they have for people who have Blue Cross insurance. I mainly see a nurse practitioner. I can call her any time if I have concerns, and she touches base with me like once a month. It's for preventative care, to try to keep you healthy before something happens.

    Landino, Dr. Thomas
My daughter had a large wart on her foot that we could not get rid of. Dr. Landino advised laser surgery, and outlined what was entailed and the expected outcome. He has a good bedside manner, and put my daughter at ease. He performed the laser surgery, and my daughter is now wart free! We would definitely go back to him if in need of a podiatrist. It was easy to schedule appointments with him, and his staff is easy to work with as well. There were only a couple times we weren't seen on time due to longer running appointments ahead of us, but nothing more than 10 or so minutes late.
