Bigfoot Construction, Sewer and Drain LLC
The Big Foot Construction crew was very professional, timely, accommodating, and polite. They demolished the old deck, carried away all debris, and kept an orderly work area. The completed 550 sq. ft. deck project is extremely sturdy and appealing in design and craftsmanship. We are quite pleased with the finished deck.

Bill and his crew do top notch work. They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. They provided good solutions to issues we had with our home. Each crew member was a delight. We are asking them back to remodel our kitchen.

    Three Brothers Contractor, LLC
They did a great job of matching the existing fence. I called and Jose came out the same day to look at the fence. He gave me a competitive price and after agreeing to the work he was there within 2-3 days to do the work. The crew was very professional and easy to work with. They showed up right when he said they would and it was done in less than a day. They did a great job of cleanup. I appreciated working with Jose and Ray. I would recommend them for any fence or deck work.

    Three Brothers Contractor, LLC
Jose and his crew were quality contractors to work with from the deck design phase through completion. Jose is a master craftsman who takes pride in his work. He is a perfectionist who will make changes until the work is perfect and met our standards. From demolition of our old deck to designing our large 729sf trex deck with custom cable railing, Jose made the process easy and accessible. During the whole process, he was easy to get a hold of with any questions. He kept us updated with all phases of the build. After completion, there were a couple minor changes that needed fixing. They were on top of it and followed all the way through. Quality service, quality craftsmanship and a great crew to work with. Highly recommended.

    Dr. Decks
Jason is a perfectionist when building decks. Our job turned out beautifully and perfect. He may be hard to get a hold of/ or maybe not the quickest response but he is well worth the wait. He is intimately involved in every aspect of the deck building and runs a very small crew. Awesome guys all. I would heartily recommend to anyone. Plan and schedule your project well in advance as Jason is a busy guy. Again...well worth the wait. You will be happy that Dr. Decks is the business you chose. We have loved our deck every day for the past year when it was replaced!

    Polar Bear Exterior Solutions, Inc
My entire experience with Polar Bear has been absolutely fantastic! From my initial conversation with Roger to plan the replacement and expansion, through the logistics and designs with Joe, and ending with the actual deck removal and construction with Jonathan, every step has been phenomenal. Replacing a deck is no small project, and the plan for our deck was to create the deck we really wanted to enjoy for the next 20 years and beyond a goal that matches perfectly with the services Polar Bear provides. Reviewing the features we were looking for and the wonderful material and design options with Roger and Joe, we quickly settled on a replacement plan that expanded our deck using low-maintenance, durable Azek decking materials. Polar Bear made the planning and design process painless for us: they engaged professional services on our behalf to handle the formal designs and create plans, handled the permitting with the city, and communicated with us for small design changes and adjustments. The deck project was expertly coordinated to occur alongside our siding replacement, providing both projects with maximum access to the superstructure of the house. As the siding project progressed, the old deck was cleanly removed (old footings and all) and Jonathan and his deck crew started lining up the new footing locations and the levels at which the deck would align with doorways. Even in this very early construction phase, the attention to details was astounding. Jonathan and his crew spent a few days carefully planning the locations and alignment of the new deck footings, ensuring they were all perfectly aligned and level. Even more impressively, they very quickly identified and resolved a rather unique challenge of our deck project: we have three doors with access to the deck and each is at a slightly different level (due to the way the house settled over the years). Jonathan came up with a very good plan that aligned one of the doors perfectly with the deck while keeping the other two doors very nearly level (introducing a barely-noticeable step); he kept us aware of the challenges and solution, giving us lots of opportunities to ask questions and possibly most importantly ensuring that we were aware of the expected results (which were awesome!). Once the footings were in place, the support beams were attached quite promptly afterward, and aligned with computer-like precision Jonathan and his crew spent a fair amount of time with alignment strings to ensure that all the beams and supports were in the same plane. The line of support beams is aligned so perfectly that its almost surreal. Its not often that one can say the underside of their deck is as tour-worthy as the top side, but the effort put into the support structure of this deck makes it a must-see for our visitors. The installation of the deck materials zipped along with impressive efficiency and precision. I frequently observed the whole crew working in a very efficient pipeline, measuring, cutting, and placing boards at quite a quick pace. In no time at all, they were placing the final glass panels for the railing. Once again, the small details made the final results all the more impressive: Jonathan and the crew went to the trouble of ensuring the tempered glass stamps were all oriented in the same position of the railings, creating a very clean and uniform appearance. And at every step of the way, Jonathan and his crew were just as excited to be building this amazing deck as I was to watch it come to life. The final result is an absolutely awe-inspiring deck that exceeded even my expectations, which is quite impressive given the high (and achievable) expectations we already had throughout the process. Every small detail, corner, junction, brace, and joint was perfectly placed and constructed. Im now the proud owner of a durable, low-maintenance deck that Ill be able to enjoy for more than a few decades. As a pleasant bonus, Polar Bear and KOMO4 News even aired a story on the transformation: [*** Link removed ***]

    Redwood Builders LLC, Landscaping
Terrific! Tony and his guys were great, very professional and hardworking...they were outside in the worst weather! Their work is superb and we are extremely happy with their work ethic, even though they had other jobs in process simultaneously. Redwood Builders did their work at a very fair price and we are extremely satisfied.

    T&N Quality Bldg and Remodeling
Mark and his team from T&N did a fabulous job from start to finish. As a retired facilities manager at a major corporation who has dealt with dozens of builders over the years, I can say that these guys are true professionals. Communication, craftsmanship, integrity, and quality are hallmarks of their work. Their meticulous attention to detail was a sight to behold. We couldnt be happier with our new outdoor space. The team worked together like a well oiled machine. They are courteous and show they care about their work. We will most certainly hire them again for future work. It was a great experience and worth every penny.

    Home Enhancements
Scott Lewis/Home Enhancements was great. We found Scott on Angies list and then also identified that he had successfully performed work for our neighbor. Always sensitive to our budget, he took our desire to replace, expand, and cover our deck and turned it into a backyard space that we have received nothing but complements on. Beginning first with his own initial ideas, he listened thoughtfully to what we were looking for and completed a design that matched that. During construction he was really easy to work with including helping us with a couple changes that we made after construction started. We highly recommend Scott and his work.

    Class Act Carpentry
Made a written inquiry through Angie's List about what type of work they do and coming to do an estimate. NEVER HEARD BACK . Maybe they don't need my money or business? I don't need them and will pass this behavior along. If I was to have work done and they did this disappearing act, then what? Do not recommend.
