    AllStar Painting
My client needed some last minute painting that the lender of the buyer called out. He not only power washed and painted he also replaced/repaired the deck that was showing signs of dry rot. AllStar Painting is professional, licensed, bonded and prices for scope of work are competitive. I highly recommend AllStar Painting!

    Class Act Carpentry
Made a written inquiry through Angie's List about what type of work they do and coming to do an estimate. NEVER HEARD BACK . Maybe they don't need my money or business? I don't need them and will pass this behavior along. If I was to have work done and they did this disappearing act, then what? Do not recommend.

    CertaPro Painters of Seattle
A friend referred me to CertaPro after finding them on Angie's List.  She was thrilled with her house and suggested this company.  I felt well taken care of from first call to final day of painting.  Everyone was so helpful on the phone when scheduling and the painters that came out answered questions and did such a good job.  I'm glad I don't have to paint very often but when I do paint again I will ask CertaPro to do the work.  Great overall experience.

    Coddington Construction Inc
I have used Coddington Construction for 2 separate projects. The first one was to build a custom storage shed and replace an old fence. This project which was done in May 2009 went without any major hiccups. The only issues that I had was that the crew did not clean up daily as was promised. As stated in other reviews, I was offered options for a more economical project. As I had a specific item in mind I kindly refused and there was no problem. Second project, done in October 2010 was to replace decking material on a 1500 square foot deck with a composite, as I was tired of cleaning and staining the deck EVERY year. As far as the construction aspect of it, this project went without any major problems. The problem came from the material used. As I wanted TREX material, I was persuaded to use the Timber-Tech product. I wish that I had used my better judgment and stuck with the TREX. By December of 2012 the Timber-tech product had faded so bad that it had to be replaced. Timber-tech admitted that they had manufacturing problems with the particular color that I had chosen and replaced it at no cost to me. Well, here we are January 2015 and the replaced decking is starting to fade AGAIN. Contacted Coddington Construction and the very same day, Ken Coddington (the owner) was out at my home to inspect the deck. In correspondence with Timber-Tech they are claiming that my deck is just weathered,(after only 2 years)  and recommended a product.  I disagree as I have my front porch done with TREX that was done in 2003 that still looks brand new. I can and will highly recommend Codddington for construction projects but do NOT let them recommend Timber-Tech products to you.

    DP Palmer Painting & Restoration
The crew that Larry Palmer used to paint our house was exceptional in being courteous and in wanting to get the job done right. When we asked if something could be redone, it was happily done without questions. They even vacuumed up the prep work debris that fell in and around the flower beds. There was always a good clean up before they left at the end of the day. Which rarely happened, if at all, with any of the other contractors that I used in the past.
I have used over 15 contractors over the years and the biggest pain I had was trying to get a hold of the contractor in a timely manner. Larry Palmer is the first contractor I have ever used where I did not have to leave a message in the 6 to 8 times that I called him throughout the project. Of course there is the luck of catching him at the right time. But as for a comparison, with the other 3 contractors I called for bids on this job, I had to leave 8 messages, 5 of them were repeats for not being called back within 24 hours.
Larry Palmer went out of his way to make sure any question or concern we had was quickly answered and he made well use of the phone, email, and text messaging to keep us informed.

Jim and his Crew painted a neighbors home 5 years ago.   I was very impressed with the job they did on my neighbors home (which still looks great)  so I used him to paint our home as well.  They weren't the cheapest around (average) but as the saying goes you get what you pay for.  After spending $3,000 to have portions of my house painted only to have it start to fade and peel away a year later,  I wasn't looking for cheap I was looking for a paint job that would last.  As with any good contractor ,I knew they would get booked up so I got on their schedule a year in advance.  I am VERY satisfied and pleased with the job they have done for me.    All the crew were friendly, professional and took great care in making sure everything was to my satisfaction.  I was also pleased to see Jim (the owner) on site working and overseeing the job personally.  I can highly recommend JRV Paining.

WOW!!  What a team of honest, hard working, professionals.  Jim came out and gave me suggestions and estimated costs to replace decking.  I thought I would just go with what was on the deck before~wood.  I learned about the Trex type material and also the Fiberon, and saw a couple samples of  the sandstone fiberon and  the camo trimhead screw, which is installed in the side of the board.  A deck with no nailholes~that was new to me!!  I went with the fiberon and the brothers Jim and Tommy  went to work the day after the materials were delivered.  Jim was great at the daily communicating and both arrived when they said they would. Jim suggested a "picture frame" design on the benches and steps, and that was the best suggestion~it just finished it off and looked so professional. Both Jim and Tommy were always willing to do what I wanted, and there definately was no pressure at any time. Everyday, there were neighbors coming over to see the progress, and the finished deck with the beautiful framing.  Daily cleanup and putting away tools and equipment was nice, as well as the good humor we all had a part in!  When the job was complete, I informed them that I would have them back to do several little Handyman projects in the near future, and their reply was "absolutely".  A very pleasant experience~I would actually give them both an A+!!  The name of the company is right on. Never have I seen siblings get along so well~especially when working And no cussing either!!  Jim and Tommy are the best!!! The Labor rate was very appropriate.

Complete Painting of all the ceilings with two coats as well as the trim around the windows, doors, baseboards and walls in the main body of the house. Rec. room, kitchen, dining rooms, bathrooms and entry way leading to the third level of the house was completed as well. Then they did a complete exterior paint job with three new colors which were expertly suggested by Larry Palmer who is the owner of the company. The also stripped off the old deck color and re-stained the deck in our backyard with a product which has a life span of 4 years with a written warranty. Crew were very professional and nice to have around. They touched up every thing I asked before they left and asked for the final payment. Larry was the most honest and responsive contractor I have ever worked with!

    Cascade Deck & Fence Co
They were a day late starting due to a previous job.  They promised to have the job done by the following Friday.  They did complete the job on time as promised.  James worked with me as to the design and sixe of the deck.  I wanted to extend the deck out 26'.  James told me that the deck would be too big and that I would not like it.  He suggested that I go only 16'.  I am glad that I listened to him.  I am very happy with the size of the new deck.  He could have easily gone with what I originally wanted and made more money.  I am thankful for his honesty and putting the customer first.  He also helped me with a couple of other repair jobs to my fence.
James and his crew completed the job within the time frame and cost of what he quoted me.  the deck looks great and I would recommend Cascade Deck & Fence Co. to anyone.

    DK Professional Painting
The painting job took about 2 days. We discussed various trim paint options. We were fortunate to have Dave's experience with different paint/trim combinations. First every thing was taped and masked. Then the spraying began with back rolling/brushing
following the spray application. The second day included trim painting and some priming, touch up, and clean up. We did a final walk around and found no discrepancies. Clean up was accomplished and nothing was missed or left behind.
    The house looks beautiful.
