    Lincare - Everett
Note: My review is actually for Lincare-Auburn, but I do not see an entry for them in Angies List Their communication was horrible. I wound up going with another company. I called weeks after getting notified by my Dr I should be getting a call from Lincare. I called them, they said they never got my number from my Dr. I can understand that mistake, but they should have called my Dr. back to get my contact info. Once they had my information I called back a few days later, after not hearing from them. They said they were waiting for something from my Dr., but did not call to tell me that.. Several times I called, and got an answering service that took my information down, and I never got a call back. I eventually went somewhere else even though they were farther away, and got great customer service.

    Cascade Companion Care
The aides that were assigned to us were not very capable in the beginning, but after a while we got one absolutely outstanding aide and another who was good. These two aides worked very well for us for two years and would get A ratings in the above rating list. But the management of the company has caused me to leave their service. I was over billed by thousands of dollars several times. They could not find substitute aides when one of my regular ones was ill. The contract was not kept as indicated. The owner was extremely rude and antagonistic. I love the two aides who worked with my husband, but the company is not one I would recommend to anyone. The "compassionate care and concern" that they advertise is simply not true of the company, but may be true of individual aides.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay but I didn't see any grand change. I used it as soon as it arrived in the mail. They were very quick to respond and sent me an email thanking me for the purchase and letting me know that my item had shipped. In that way, they were very good. I maybe wasn't using the product as religiously as I was supposed to. I still take it with me whenever I travel. I didn't see a tremendous change in my teeth. The pricing was fine. They were professional. Everything was great except the product wasn't as effective as I thought it would be.

Providence Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County
I only needed Providence Home Care and Hospice for home physical therapy after total knee replacement surgery. This part was ok; it was after that they fell apart. My Insurance disallowed $288.00 and Providence claimed I owed this to them. Being out of work for 10 months due to the surgeries and complications they offered me limited charity they called it. They made me make out a lot of paper work, (financial statements and reasons for applying. They also demanded I apply for Stare Medicade then started demanding payment in full right away. I was out of work for 10 months without pay and my wife was on unemployment. I told them I had no money but they would not accept that. They would not work with me and allow me the time to get back to work and try to pay them off reasonably. They were incessant demanding payments as if they were the only one I owed money to from all my medical problems. Talks broke down because they were unreasonable. They sent me a letter demanding $50.00 a month. One month later they turned me over to a collection agency without even the courtesy of notifying me. I thought that Home Care and Hospice were to be caring and compassionate. The last thing you will find with the management at Providence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County is compassion and unless you are rich they will probably ruin any good credit rating you have.

I have been going to Dr. Schrader for a few years now (I don't have experience with Dr. Church, the other provider in the office). I have had specialty eye care for 50 years due to extremely poor eyesight, and Dr. Schrader is the most thorough and conscientious eyecare provider I have ever seen. When he is not sure of what is going on, he does not hesitate to do further testing. I never feel like he is doing testing just to charge more, however. When he is seeing me, I never get the sense that he is rushing, but instead is taking as much time as is needed to determine what is going on. He diagnosed me with blepharitis, a condition no one else had ever mentioned, and when the initial treatment didn't work effectively enough, he prescribed me a type of eye drop that helped. He is also not hesitant to give a serious diagnosis when necessary. He told me that I have cataracts forming, and he will refer me to an eye surgeon. Because I have significant eye problems, it is crucial for me to trust my eyecare provider, and I have the utmost trust in Dr. Schrader.
