AWe recently adopted a Golden Retriever puppy. The breeder recommended Vetters. The day after we brought her home, she had her first appointment with Dr. Lewis. We started our puppy on their 'puppy package' to get her vaccines and everything else she needs to ensure she is a healthy dog. Vetters and Dr. Lewis have been amazing! Every time I've been there they have been so kind and careful with my dog. They have also been considerate and thoroughly answered all of my questions. I doubt if I could have found a better place to care for my dog.

AWe boarded our dog for 5 nights. We also paid extra for him to participate in daycare during the day since he is a very social dog. They also offer other extras such as a nightly tuck in, photos and yogurt, toys, etc. The staff was very friendly towards us and our dog. My dog was actually a bit depressed after we brought him home and he didn’t get to participate in daycare the next day. I would recommend their services. They also offer grooming services and we had them clip our dogs nails.

Saddlerock Pet Resort is a dog and cat boarding and grooming facility that strives to be pet friendly. We use the Pet Care Services Association Pet's Bill of Rights as a guideline to measure our service to you and your pets. We are a family owned and run business. Our kennels are sized to fit your pet's needs and special talents- some kennels are capped to prevent climbing out. We have floor heat and air conditioning to keep them comfortable. FSaddlerock Pet Resort is extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I called to schedule a drop off for my dogs the other day and I realized that one of them was due for their Bordetella Vaccine which is required to board there. I told her that the only appointment available was Thursday at 5pm and I asked her if it was possible for a late drop off. She said that it would in fact be possible for a late drop off and that she would wait for me. I then told her that I would be there no latter than 6pm and thanked her for her flexibility. This was all very clear. Fast forward to today. When I show up at Saddlerock Pet Resort at 5:39pm there is a note on the door that says “I waited for as long as I could we open at 8am”. That does not help me because I am scheduled to leave tonight and I have no one to take care of my dogs. What kind of business makes promises to their customer that their ENTIRE vacation revolves around and fails to follow through with them? I called Club Pet to see if I could board there and they were full for the weekend and from the first conversation she had mentioned the the Saddlerock Pet Resort was almost empty. That alone just goes to show you that they are a inferior dog kennel. The end result is that I had to cancel my vacation. I have a ****** off significant other and now I have the whole weekend to blast Saddlerock Pet Resort on every online review platform known to mankind. Bottom line is that Saddlerock Pet Resort is too unreliable to plan your precious vacation around and they will let you down. Trust the online reviews, they will not let you down. Learn from my mistake.

BI have a husky mix with a major shedding problem and a thick undercoat. I opted for the shedless treatment which includes bath, brush, blow dry, and about an extra half hour of brushing to get all of the under fur. My dog is not always dog friendly or stranger friendly...but she always seems calm when I pick her up. I haven't yet been disappointed. The shedless treatment is expensive but it cuts down on her shedding by an amazing amount. I do it in the spring and in the fall. Otherwise their prices are competitive. I do think that the wait time is a bit much. That is why I give them a B. I might drop her off at 1 and not be able to pick her up until 5 or six

DFirst of all, I asked for only a bath and nail trim, no hair cutting whatsoever. I made this perfectly clear when making appointment and when dropping my dog off. When the assistant phoned me several hours later to come pick him up, she made no mention of anything having gone awry. However, when I got to the shop, they had cut all of his hair off very short! The owner told me that they had "gotten him mixed up with another dog". I had made out my check before I arrived to pick him up, and laid it on the counter upon entering the shop. The owner apologized profusely when I asked why all his hair was cut off, and mentioned that I was "of course" not being charged for a full cut!! She kept saying she hoped I would come back. She made no offer of either lowering the price, $35.00, for washing and clipping nails, or of not charging me at all. I was rather in shock and did not request that she not charge me-just got my poor dog and got out of there! When I got home, I discovered that one of the pads on his left front paw was bleeding, and appeared to have been partially sheared off. I also discovered a patch on his chest where the hair had been shaved to the skin, so I guess I was lucky she didn't shave his whole body. I would never take my dog back there again, and I feel guilty for ever taking him there in the first place!!

AThe clinic was very sensitive to what we were going through. From asking if we wanted to pay before or after, to allowing us as much time alone in the room with her as needed after the procedure. Dr. LeMoine was very kind and helpful with advice to help us feel we were doing the right thing. She also answered any questions I had over the phone before hand about my dog's situation and made me feel I could contact her at any time to have my questions or concerns addressed. Lovely clinic that we still use for our other pets.

AMy Labradoodle was a woolly mess & since we'd just moved here we didn't know a groomer. I was headed back to our previous city & needed to get him done quickly. I called on Friday and Lily said if I could be at her shop at 8 the next morning she would get it done. She was there waiting for me. She was totally concerned about what I wanted and she was great with my dog. She was finished at the time she said she would be. Her shop is really cute and very clean and as a bonus she only grooms one dog at a time so she doesn't have to crate them. She was wonderful!!

AWe had to board our small sized dog overnight and we were able to get a spot at Leavenworth Pet lodge. Our dog is a rescue and is still a little skittish, so I was concerned that his first boarding experience be a good one. I liked the fact that his "room" was a regular sheet rocked room - no fencing or side windows to see the dogs next door, with a regular sized sliding glass door at the front. He could see everything that went by, but didn't feel scared. They walked him down the hallway to go outside with no problem, and he enjoyed the exercise. I noted that they kept the kennel floors clean, and it seemed that the dogs there were fairly calm. It's not the fanciest place, but my dog was well taken care of, and it was a good experience for us all.

APATTI'S GROOMINGPatti is fantastic. She is so good with my dogs. I never even consider going anywhere else. She goes above and beyond my expectations. When my mom moved into an assisted living home Patti even picked up and delivered mom's dog for her (which isn't something she normally would do, but made the exception when we weren't able to arrange transportation within the family.) A couple years ago there was a period of time when Patti wasn't working in the grooming industry and I took my dog to a different groomer, but when I dropped him off my dog would cling to me... not wanting to go to the other groomer. But when Patti takes him from me, my dog goes eagerly. Also she doesn't try to rush him out of my arms... she will talk to him sweetly and makes him excited to see her. I totally trust her with my fur babies. I wish I could upload a picture but I just got a new computer and haven't transferred my pics over yet :(- Pam F.

ALITTLE MOUNT GROOMINGI have taken my dogs -- 4 different breeds -- to be groomed by Vickie for over 10 years. I won't use anyone else! She does a wonderful job at a reasonable price and tries very hard to work within your schedule. It's obvious she loves animals. Her own dogs come to work with her every day. I even obtained one of my pups, Dudley, through her when his family left the country and they were forced to re-home him. You can't go wrong with this shop!- B H.
