AIRC Kitchen & BathYou get what you pay for! We built our home 4 years ago. At the time we thought all tile work was the same and basically a job of lining up the tile and grouting it into place…WRONG! In our ignorance we chose the least expensive bid, bad move! Our home has 5 bathroom showers, the person who did the tile work looked like he knew what he was doing, but we found out later that what looked good was not! All 5 of our shower pans started to leak and rot into the subfloor. Fortunately, a friend recommended IRC and David and his crew came and saved us from total disaster! IRC is an honest and quality conscious operation. Davis was exact in his bid and the job did not exceed his bid amount, the job was started and finished on time, and the crew cleaned up their work area every day before they left for the evening. David is a young man with integrity, and his company reflects that. The crew were always pleasant, industrious and quiet ,and most importantly, I felt I could completely trust them both to do superior work even if David was not there and that I could trust them in my home when I was not there. I would definitely hire IRC again and would not hesitate to highly recommend IRC to anyone who wants their tile work done right the first time!- Kathleen W.

ADH West Coast Construction LLCEverything went well. From the total demolition of our old kitchen, to a complete redo, took 3 weeks. Gone are the lowered ceiling and fluorescent lights, well-worn dark cabinets, double sink (which I hated), blah-countertops/backsplash, and worn-out floor. We now have the kitchen that we wanted, with beautiful cabinets, lovely granite countertops and tile backsplash, much-improved lighting, nice floor, and an above-the-range microwave. Darryll and Heather are nice to work with, and gave us ideas when we had none. Their crew was very professional as well. We would be advised each day what they planned to do on the following day. We love our new kitchen. Hopefully we can have them back next year for a total bathroom remodel.- Marion C.

ADH West Coast Construction LLCAs first hand observers, we noted that the different DH crews and subcontractors exhibited the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism. Communication was excellent, beginning with the day we called Darrell to inquire about remodeling our home (he and Heather came the next day) and then email requests/updates with Heather both before the renovation started and throughout the project. We appreciated Heather's periodic emails indicating what would happen that day or week and then occasionally peek in on the action as it occurred. In general, it was a good interactive process that led to us to achieving the project we intended. The whole project was done in twelve weeks with minimal disruption while we stayed in the house. Owing to a handful of change orders to address items beyond what we'd originally scoped, the remodel was completed at 105% of the original bid. A lot of credit goes to Darrell and Heather for sending us to Creative Cabinet Designs and to Standard Floor and Paint to get our design choices and materials made before they offered us a bid. The upfront steps took us almost a month, but decision-making in that order gave us confidence in a more realistic bid from DH West Coast. Please take this review as a resounding recommendation for DH West Coast. They will be the first contractor we call should we take on another remodel project.- Cynthia B.

AThe project was essentially a remodel of a circa 1950's beach cabin with a small addition. We chose Baker and Son on the recommendation of our neighbor who had used them to build a detached garage. Our plans were relatively simple at first: build the addition, expand the kitchen, build a new bathroom and create a new entry. As work was underway, it became clear through the advice of Baker and Son that our kitchen was too big and out of scale for the cabin. We ended up eliminating some walls and opening up the cabin in such a way that created one large room but still a separate kitchen, dining and living. It was a huge improvement to the original design. In addition to the interior work, Baker and Son completely overhauled the exterior which included new windows and siding. New structural headers were required because they didn't exist. Also, since the cabin is post and pier construction, they leveled and strengthen the existing structure. Work included new skirting as well. Their attention to detail was very impressive. They are masters at creative problem solving, patient, responsive and positive. They have a very strong sense of design. We were never pressured into quick decisions. The contract arrangement for our project was essentially time and material because formulating a bid on an old cabin remodel would involve too many unknowns. We agreed to a fair hourly rate and all material and subcontracted work we paid directly with no additional overhead or fee. This saved us money. Since we lived out of town, Baker and Son were so well connected with various vendors and subcontractors, it simplified making arrangements. Now that our project is complete, we are so excited about the end result! We would highly recommend using Baker and Son Construction for any project.

AThis company is awesome. Very communicative, responsive, ethical, on time and even went the extra mile when it appeared some bubbles appeared. They came back immediately, re-sanded the floor and put another coat on. The floor looks fabulous and I will definitely recommend them to anyone else looking for this service and of course, these people will be the only company I use in the future.
