ABooker's Handyman ServiceJeremie, Is a true craftsman, high attention to detail, creative and accurate. I have worked with Booker Handyman Service for about 10 years and have been 100% satisfied with workmanship and service! Over 10 years, I have hired him to do just about everything at my home from maintenance to building new construction so the categories marked below don’t capture the full scale and scope of his capabilities just a sampling.- Anita A.

ADH West Coast Construction LLCAs first hand observers, we noted that the different DH crews and subcontractors exhibited the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism. Communication was excellent, beginning with the day we called Darrell to inquire about remodeling our home (he and Heather came the next day) and then email requests/updates with Heather both before the renovation started and throughout the project. We appreciated Heather's periodic emails indicating what would happen that day or week and then occasionally peek in on the action as it occurred. In general, it was a good interactive process that led to us to achieving the project we intended. The whole project was done in twelve weeks with minimal disruption while we stayed in the house. Owing to a handful of change orders to address items beyond what we'd originally scoped, the remodel was completed at 105% of the original bid. A lot of credit goes to Darrell and Heather for sending us to Creative Cabinet Designs and to Standard Floor and Paint to get our design choices and materials made before they offered us a bid. The upfront steps took us almost a month, but decision-making in that order gave us confidence in a more realistic bid from DH West Coast. Please take this review as a resounding recommendation for DH West Coast. They will be the first contractor we call should we take on another remodel project.- Cynthia B.

ADH West Coast Construction LLCWe had done a complete remodel before and the biggest problem with the contractor was the lack of communication and their failure to show up on a regular basis. Based on family and friend's experiences, that's pretty common. Darrell was nothing short of awesome. He kept in contact with us regularly, he followed up on all my emails, he answered our questions quickly, we added several things not on the initial contract and he provided us with estimates promptly and did everything we requested. He brought in an outside carpenter, plumper and electrician and they all did excellent work. Darrell kept checking in to be sure we were satisfied with the work being done and he was quick to resolve any issues we had. Darrell provided us with estimates on all the work we requested. There were no $$ surprises. The final bill actually came in a bit lower than my total based on the estimates. If you are looking for someone you can depend on, who will communicate effectively, who is conscientious about the quality of his work, who is upfront and honest, who is concerned that you are satisfied with the work being done, then Darrell is the guy for you!- Leslie W.

ARain Shadow HandymanExcellent overall. David and his crew worked full time for 2 weeks fixing up the manufactured home I purchased in October. After that they came out once a week to do odds and ends. They are going to sand and stain the deck outside my bedroom in the Spring.- Anna B.

AKattau ConstructionIn retrospect I am quite happy that I took the path I did as there were several unexpected developments and/or requirements that I had asked for that were "unexecutable" during the course of construction that we were able to fix on the fly. I was very happy with Scott's attention to detail during the course of construction and his quality of work far surpassed most other residential contractors I have dealt with. One of the first challenges was trying to get a permit to do the work. It turned out that the property I purchased had a barn on it that had never had a permit issued for its construction. (Not disclosed in the seller disclosure). As a result the issuance of a permit was delayed a bit until we reached an agreement with the county that we would retroactively get a permit for the structure and do any required fixes that a structural engineer determined were necessary. I ended up having to get Scott to do some additional concrete work on the barn foundations to make the county happy and hired a separate contractor to do some of the wood structural work to keep Scott focused on getting the house completed on time. I am a retired engineer with some experience in doing construction projects. Scott would be the first to tell you that I am a somewhat uncompromising taskmaster and I really appreciated the fact that Scott would push back based on his extensive experience in what works in home construction. We made several adjustments to the layout of the home as we went along and we had a good give and take on what I was adding vs items that were abandoned for a credit and the overall cost impact. The only issue I had with our project centered on critical path planning. For those not familiar with large projects this is the planning that determines what work that needs to be done today (eg: material ordering) to ensure that the work we are going to be doing in the next several weeks goes smoothly. This improved as we got through the project and at the end we ended up getting it done in the agreed time frame (excluding the delay in getting the permit at the outset of the project). I would certainly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a quality contractor to do either a renovation or construction project.- Paul L.

ARain Shadow HandymanDavid's communication and professionalism are outstanding. Whenever we uncovered a new issue he immediately reviewed the options, and made great recommendations. One area that I was truly impressed with: When David encountered an area outside of his expertise he would be open and honest. His list of specialty contractors were very professional, gave accurate estimates and delivered outstanding quality workmanship . One area we found needed a structural engineer to review. We jointly inspected and reviewed the options with the engineer. We agreed to the resolution design. David was very open about everyone carefully inspecting each step of the process. The repair was also inspected by the engineer who commented on the new result was superior to the original. When considering a handyman, honesty, with careful consideration of the desired outcome is critical. I now thoroughly trust David's work and expertise. He is a true professional: Honest, and delivers very high quality work.- Bill H.

AWords can't express how happy we have been with our decision to go with Trickett Woodworks to build and install the cabinets in our custom kitchen. Geoff and Brian have been exceptional! Their communication before and during the project was always great. We had to delay the selection of our cabinet maker due to COVID, and Geoff was the only person that had regular check-ins with us during this time, none of the companies reached out to us at all. Trickett's workmanship is top notch. We asked for a very custom design that followed the contour of our cathedral ceiling which is not common. Geoff worked with us to come up with ideas on how best to accomplish the look we were going for and it turned out amazing. Geoff and Brian also went the extra mile when our countertop installers damaged several drawers and doors. Geoff made sure everything got fixed and that we were taken care of. I can't understate how happy we are with our cabinets and our experience with Trickett. We'll definitely be using them for future projects and highly recommend them to anyone.

FCalled to have this company do a price estimate for drywall. She told me to text her my phone number and we could set a a day that worked for both of us. A couple days later when she texted me in the late evening We decided on a day and time. Well nobody ever showed ever up on that day, and a couple hours later I get a phone call (I didn't answer) from some guy on the voicemail he stated that said this lady told him I need a price estimate and he wanted to know a time he could come out...what the heck? So this company called me again I decided ok 2nd chance but 15 mins before they are suppose to be here I get a text message saying she can't come out because she is sick. DONE WITH THEM. I know they have good reviews they just didn't work out for me. Hope the next people have better luck if you chose to go with them.
